- This is a live capture of Paul Meany of Mutemath's Instagram live video in which he was super transparent and reflective. Many fans waited 14 years to hear some of these statement and it is their desire to capture and archive this for those who missed it.
Thank you for uploading this, it's helped me understand myself so much more.
Thank you for this Paul. We do often see God the clearest in the midst of the wreckage. I can give so many examples of people who have used personal tragedy as a way to further the knowledge of God to people who need to hear. We don’t always understand his ways but you have a good grasp of it.
I've always thought of your work as an open and honest attempt to make sense of life and God, wherever it takes you. The title "Mutemath" to me always meant a a series of concepts that has yet to give an answer.
Thank you for your honesty and willingness to be open with your fans.
After all these years, your wrestling and hope has been one of the most relevant directions in all of the music I listen to. Look forward to seeing where your projects go.
This talk got pretty deep. Thank you for the insight. You are an inspiring artist.
Thank you! Powerful!
Thank you so much for posting!! I missed this!
Paul, your message about creating a spark from wreckage is so inspiring and spot-on! In order to live up to our full potential on this journey despite the unforeseen challenges, we always have to find a way to create beauty. I've been a fan of yours since the Reset era, and I cannot wait to see you flourish in new ways in 2019. Thanks for bringing us along for the journey. I love and will continue to support you and your music.
This is awesome Paul.. Thanks for posting..
Such a fine ass man. 😍😍😍 Everything about him. Genius.
I feel like Mutemath should never have been signed to a big label like WB. All they did was try to make a super creative band into a one hit wonder machine. They would have fared much better on an independent like XL Recordings or Arts and Crafts. So many of their songs I can hear something great happen, but a business guy in a suit holding the songs full potential back.
Hey Paul love from india..Really appreciate your work on voice of silence...A masterpieces I must say...Keep up the good work god bless you.
Wow...!
Didn’t realize you produced on trench! I’ll have to give it a closer listen.
I’d love to sit down and just talk with Paul. This is coming from a therapist and a seminary student. Paul ... if you are ever in IOWA... and you wanna kick it over some coffee or something ... I’ll give you all the time I got for free
