My biggest regret of the 2000s was not buying a home. There was one place that interested me in 2004, a three bedroom condo I lived in and shared rent with amongst three other roomies. I think I paid like 300 dollars a month, maybe even 250, so long ago cant remember. It was a nice place. In 2009 the owner of property sold it for 43k to a new owner. I could've easily paid it off within 5-10 years, especially if I had invited paying roommates, the condo was right next to a community college. Now that condo is worth over 200k!
