I have reached out to FSMOne. It is not possible to buy SPDR S&P 500 US$ with SRS funds. They only support shares/ ETF denominated in SGD for SRS funds.
I have 10 years span before my SRS withdrawal is allowed but then i might want to convert this SRS fund to be passive income generation base on the portfolio i invested today. Question : What is the best (oops.. no should said optimium) way to invest my SRS today? ETF SP500 or Robo using Endowus? Would like to hear your advise. Thanks
hi, would like some advise, just started working about a year in, was thinking if it is more worth to open SRS account and top up monthly or top up my CPF S/A or M/A for tax relief. I do currently invest in US stocks at the side. just wondering which return would be more beneficial
If I decided to leave my SRS fund in the investment after 62 : 1) Can I do that? 2) Will the 10 years withdrawal on trigger once I start to withdraw? 3) Can I withdraw the investment return only without touching the base sum as what in it at age 62? If not how it work?
Hi kelvin. I have been actively following your videos. Pretty informative. Your last portfolio update was 4 months ago. Could you do a video to update what did you add or sell in the last 4 months... Thanks
Kelvin, I would like to ask whether there is any annual or maintenance fees for SRS account (if I just open it to lock in the retirement age and make no investments)? Thanks!:)
helloo Kelvin, thanks for the video, just wanted to say that i've been using stashaway since 2 years ago... the investment is negative for 1.5 years until today :)
Hi Kelvin! thanks for the educational video. Since I'm looking for steady growth over 10 years, I guess I'll probably invest with Endows on Dimensional Global Core Equity Fund so that the compounding effect is somewhat steady growth :) Pls comment if you think otherwise.
Think there is a downside of using SRS to buy dividend stocks . The dividends count towards the annual SRS contribution limit. Thus reducing ability to get max tax benefits in future. -- Update mar22: sorry this is incorrect. I have confirmed with IRAS that dividend does not affect the SRS cap.
Between SGX SDPR S&P 500 (S27) and Endowus Infinity S&P 500, which is better when we take all fees into account. Thanks for your advice, Kelvin.
Looks to me sgx etf can be lower cost vs endowns
Hi Kelvin, mind sharing what do you use your own SRS to buy?
Highly informative yet concise. Greatly appreciate it!
another great video. Thanks
Can you do a video on security lending? The risks, interest rate to expect, benefits and considerations?
Hi kelvin, i have my srs account with philip security and they only charge 0.08% with the cash plus account.

Hi, thanks for your informative video. Very basic question... Where I can see the securities which I have bought using SRS funds?

Hi Kelvin it is almost one year since this video. May I know if you see that anything has changed? Will you change any of your recommendations?
Still the same! Maybe i would have added: "because I expect market to dip further, try DCA instead of lump sum"
this year still 62 when we open?
Thanks
I am using poems to invest my SRS to buy and sell unit trust with poems.
Is it wise?
Kelvin, slight correction - stashaway already has the 4th thematic portfolio, which is my favourite Environment and Cleantech portfolio

Is this true?
Sorry my bad. I have emailed IRAS and they told me dividend doesn't count . So even with dividend, I can still top up the max limit of the SRS.
Good video. If u could talk at a little slow pace it would be much better.
Dammn so early ;)
Yea man!
Wow 😳 they change the age again 😅 will need a need cybernetic body and organ to reach 200 years old if they keep adjusting the age limit
+1 for the algo
