Sometimes you need to search the low views to find actual people. Great vid mate, great commentary. Chad smiths groove and rock feel is just so freakin good!
I've only watched this original video from Drumeo yesterday. Chad's mastery of dynamics and improvisation are completely bonkers. Ty for the content from someone who knows wtf they're talking about. Good luck teaching the kids!
This was one of the best reaction/reviews I’ve seen. First you enjoy it and just acknowledge and appreciate the greatness we’re watching. But beyond that, you then break it down in pieces and speak to the drum community on what’s going on technically. Really good stuff. - Nice work Sir.
5:02 my favorite part, which shows what a music genius Chad is. The guitar is building and he goes for the big hit on the cymbal, but instantly change to the bell. Just amazing how talented he is. You also should check the videos of Dirk from Megadeath. Love your reactions, keep it up
Great video man, Chad's energy and dynamic playing is just contagious. He's been my favorite drummer for a long time and also had a very nice fusion band called Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, where he shows off more of his chops. Until Adam Deitch came along. Do you happen to know him?
Id love to see you do a reaction to Manchester Orchestra! Either their song The Silence (live version is better) or the drummer Tim Very has him doing drums for the song The Wolf. It’s fascinating how some have a million different drums/ctmb in their kit and others use the bare minimum and it sounds huge.

I know nothing about drums. I have watched this at least 50 times. Brilliant.
I know right!? - me 2 😂
You don't have to be a drummer to realize greatness

Great to find another Scottish drummer! Feel bad for subscribing cause it took away 69 subs 😞

They just put a new one with Chad a few days ago.
