I remember cracking up so hard when I first saw this SNL skit. I like how you made Raph the skeptic one about the pizza and you made Donnie be the suspicious one and let him break fourth wall.
I love Rise Donnie. He's so fun, being almost malicious with his tech rather than just sometimes blowing up his lab. No, let this boy be an evil scientist.
“Almost pizza” reminds me of the time I had “almost pneumonia”. I still have no idea what on earth it means but it kept me home for weeks and even after I was able to go back to school there was at least 3 months of recovery. Anyway… my theory for what “almost pizza” is: Donnie’s attempt at Krang-like technology (combining biological & mechanical matter and controlling it with a neurological interface/programable “instincts”)
Every time I watch rise with my buddy we will joking say "half-a-step" everytime Donnie does something that reminds us that he is always a half step away from becoming a villian. Not a full step mind you. A HALF of a step.
At first I was like "Leo is missing because he was the first to suffer from the almost pizza" and technically I was almost right cause that's what eneded up happening XD
