- I'm back. I know my audience might not be familiar with TMNT. Still, it's worth the watch. I wanted to make something to educate a couple friends about diabetes so, what's better than making something that includes our current hyper fixation AND some helpful info?
Did you know turtles can have diabetes too? Not just mutant ones. But I don't recommend injecting insulin needles into your pet turtle. What I do recommend is for you to watch Rise Of The TMMT! Hyped for Mutant Mayhem!! ^^

I can't ever imagine losing all of my important things I need to stay alive 😭😭
And how expensive that stuff is! (I don't have diabetes, but my grandmother did, the cost of her medication was insane)

I got type 2 and can afford to miss a day or two of metformin, but I definitely feel you when it comes to my emergency inhaler. I don't know what I would do if I suddenly started having an asthma attack and it wasn't in arms length.

Ngl, I though Mikey would have diabetes; here’s the explanation: remember that one episode when Leo wanted to get on the wall of fame by getting the best pizza? And Mikey said “my blood sugars are getting low” (or something along the line) and everyone looked at him with worry? BUT I STILL LOVE THIS DONT WORRY ❤ but dude this is so funny and I’m obsessed

God, this was way too funny 🤣🤣🤣 I'm diabetic myself, but take metformin instead.
Every time I go into the pharmacy to pick up my meds and come back, my brother says something along the lines of "You got your drugs?" but in a jokey way, so I play along. Our family has a bit of a history with diabetes.

My dad has diabetes although hes in the lower level of it(for those who don't know there's two levels the highest level two you get from either birth or a young age and is more dangerous and you have to take insulin every time you eat or in different hour of the day when the other you can just get from eating too much sugar or something, it's less dangerous but you still have to check you're blood sugar every morning and in both levels if you're blood sugar is too low or two high you can pass out and it can be very dangerous. I don't have it I just know because of my dad and my niece, who has the second level)
Am I the only who thinks that, as the team medic, Leo would have a better understanding of diabetes and how medicine such as insulin helps with it better than the others and even try to explain it to the others?😅
