Agreed this is pretty darn good. FYI, while I'm not much of a fan of theirs, Panic at the Disco did a pretty damn good cover of this years ago that I still jam out to from time to time. I think it was live in Denver. I recommend

i think what makes this cover so good is that theres none of those "ugh" or "ouch" moments where the singer covering the song tries to prove, subtley, theyre better than the original singer and completely singing out of atmosphere. whereas vic and the band are playing very unified, theres no moments where youre waiting for it to get to the good part. its the whole cover. between the vocals and the instrumentals, its simply a beautiful song.
the singer, Vic, understood that Thom's voice is more about the angst and wailling grief moreso than the range he could pull off which is amazing, I love it when singer sing like that.

Well, god damn, see I thought they’d do a good job on this when I saw it but never knew how good it was until now, this is amazing and these guys killed it. I’m now wishing they had a whole covers album because this was great.

If you told me that Pierce the Veil would have maybe my favourite LAV of the year I’d laugh you out. But damn did they do it justice. Captured enough of the original but put enough of their twist on it to sound like them.

Their musical development aligns with what I listen to. I loved their music as a teenager, and now I enjoy bands like Radiohead. They make it sound so fresh! It’s crazy!

It takes a lot to get me to admit that a cover of one of my all-time favorite band’s songs is actually any good. Pierce the Veil just proved me wrong. This is absolutely one of THE BEST covers I have ever heard, not just of a Radiohead song, but of ANY song. My 18yo son sent this to me this morning and I had a huge smile on my face by the end of listening to it… totally made my day! You guys f*cking slayed this song! 🤘Just beautiful 🥹
