This does send quite a chunk of change down range fast 😬💀
You have inherited the "expensive hobby" autism. We all have it now.
I know! I started this hobby to give me something to do so I don't gamble. After m&c and now this... I'm worried I picked the wrong hobby lol
Didn’t know I needed a .50 Beowulf upper until now. Thanks for that, and the files.
Don't forget to use my deals page 😘
i'm about to buy this lower after watching this
Hollaaaaa
The GAP is Baller AF. I've made several and ran them without fail with various caliber uppers. I'll be running one at GMM.
Hell yes! That's awesome to hear.
Can I just say that I LOVE seeing you in this comment string… like I watch every single video you make… and seeing that you watch this small creator… just tells me I’m in the right freaking place….
It's definitely baller 🤘
Holy shit lackluster prints??? What a crossover. Incredibly based.
@SgtNateHigers he's a big help in the discord 🙂
You messed up, you blinked instead of wink.
Blinking is just a double wink, right?
@@MiddletonMade3D yeah but you took an eye off the prize
First time seeing your stuff, TH-cam must know we’ve been firing up the printer for some prototypes.
Love to see it; signal goes hard.
Well glad you stopped by! Hopefully we'll see much more of each other.
Super safe 375 raptor when
Lmao alphabet bois watching the end of this video *heavy breathing*
Lmao. Shit, the whole thing is about ~GhOsTs spoooooky
Yeah I won't be soon the ATF will come after the super safety. Also I'm working on a below forward AR-15 design. Right now the big hang up is the feeding mechanism because I want them to be compatible with standard AR-15 magazines
If the ATF or anyone else posts anything official, I'll be more critical of my inventory but we haven't yet had images of the warrant served or any word from the ATF so I'm not 100% on destroying anything yet.
I'm curious about your design, however. 👀
@@MiddletonMade3D it's a design I came up with that used to the rifling to cycle the next round instead of using blowback. Last moving parts means more stability
Interesting! If love to see how it works and understand it's operation.
@@MiddletonMade3DVery true. The more time that goes by, the more skeptical I become of that event.
I'm a skeptic at heart so evidence is key for me.
Fantastic update, really excited for all the new projects!
Thanks man. There's a lot in the works!
Saw your Vice episode. Crazy part is you're in the same area. Great work. I might need to use this print on my next build.
That would be baller! Would love to see that. And even cooler to have someone in the same area! Thanks for the support.
Neat idea with the hammer and trigger pins. At first glance I thought you simply did pin locks like I did on the BrickAR. Mind if I adapt your idea for the BrickAR and combine it with my pin locks? That should eliminate both problems at once.
Oh, and FYI, people have built .50 Beowulf on the BrickAR before (an earlier revision), so yours isn't the first on a printed receiver.
@@mattelder1971 I think he said cheapest
@@MrViramont Yes, I know, however the person who did the build with the BrickAR used the same upper, as well as other printed components. The BrickAR would be a cheaper print as well because you don't have to source the metal buffer tower insert.
Do you know how long the Brick AR receiver lasted with a big bore?
@@MiddletonMade3D Unfortunately, no. I only ever saw a few posts from the guy who built it before that Facebook group got shut down, and never heard from him again. A couple of people have done them in 458 SOCOM as well though. I've used one fairly regularly with 300 blackout with no issues. I need to put together a 458 or 50 upper sometime to do more testing with my current design and maybe make some improvements.
WOAH, PETG CF receiver? Impressive.
I expected it to fail, but then it didn't. It just keeps going and going
I do all my builds out of petg- cf. works wonders I absolutely love the strength it provides
@@MiddletonMade3DIs it still going and going? lol
Peep the Wisconsin DNR range sign. I know where you are. 😊
Hell yeah man. Come on by and pop off with us.
7:10 lololololol, did you see the slapfight between L&S and FocusTripp? Dont give that thing a bad review or you'll be getting threatened with a lawsuit too.
Oh I have missed the whole thing. I need some education it seems
I think they may have squashed things at shot show. There was a whole lota drama with L&S though, that all started with a review of their product last year. FT did the same testing he does for everything he reviews, was accused of slander and defamation by L&S, served a C&D. Then Focustripp made another video clowning on L&S and did like an hour+ response (funny and cringe). I won't give too much personal input for who I think was right or wrong in this situation. Look into it for yourself and draw your own conclusions. You're a smart guy though.
@@MiddletonMade3D oh, and excellent work on the new pew. I'll be trying one out for sure.
Thanks man.
pro tip: bring down the gain on the mic, and bring the volume up in post to avoid clipping in the audio. some may notice a buzz sound at the end of sentences where this individual slightly raises their voice
Sadly I didn't plan to keep the audio so I didn't even use a mic, this is all onboard and set to like, 3 for too usually being used with a lav.
This is great! Your always making good stuff.
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. It's definitely a little effort.
The only problem with this is that you're going to use all the money you save on this buying and probably subsequently using ammo. So as for saving money... you probably won't, but you'll certainly have more fun with the money you do spend.
That's very true. Haha. It hurt dumping those msgs
can you please explain the legality on this? do you have to register the guns on camera or are those just 'props'?
There's no gun registry for non NFA items unless your state has additional infringement.
Focus tripp has a great video on why that is maybe not the best optic choice
I'll take a watch later!
Beautiful work!
Thank you! I'm really enjoying it.
Was the (assuming) 5.56 upper bear Creek too?
No! It's actually BCM upper. I have a barrel from Bear Creek in 556 for the apple pie and I've had no issues with that one but I don't have any complete uppers other than the 50 from them.
🔥🔥🔥
😘😘
How warm and inviting
🎉👌💨💦
Grandma would be proud.❤
And well armed!
Is there a printable version of the buffer tower
They have published the CAD files publicly for the buffer tower, but one of the weakest points in many polymer receivers is the buffer tower, so I don't recommend using a printed one. For a printed thread area, Hoffman currently has the best option.
Did you say Bear creek? I am interested in this caliber now. Also, I haven't printed PETG-CF, only PA6-CF, ABS, and PLA+... Would PA6-CF without annealing do the trick for the 50 beowulf?
Yes! Bear Creek Arsenal. Because of this upper you can find a link on my site to them with a small discount.
I'd assume pa6cf would suffice but I haven't tested it myself, only PA12. If it works well in PLA, I can't imagine a PA6 failing.
@@MiddletonMade3DThanks Middleton! Always awesome work. Any specific one from BCA you recommend? I will definitely use your link.
I'm pretty sure this is their 18in side charging in the video. They have a variety of lengths including very short and rowdy.
@@MiddletonMade3D That's the one I was eyeing, but it is sold out at the moment :( have you used the rouladen with the 50 beowulf upper?
Not yet, but that actually sounds really cool. Maybe I'll see if I have someone on hand to print a very long version of it lol
Hey man, curious what printer you use for printed aluminum?
I actually send out to a USA based company for that service. There's no way I can fit the machinery, let alone afford the metal printing setups.
@@MiddletonMade3D got it that makes sense. I wasn’t sure if some technology existed that I’m missing out on. What company do you utilize if you don’t mind sharing?
I can't recall for aluminum off the top of my head but my stainless stuff, MK Machining
@@MiddletonMade3D you the man. Keep up the good work brotha. Just made your latest Mac and cheese 😉
Thanks for the support!
i dont have a bambu so why cant i import this into orca non bambu file?
I export the project as 3mf from Bambu but it should be able to get opened in any slicer, not a bambu specific project.
If it imports settings, you can discard them
ok thx!!@@MiddletonMade3D
You're welcome my friend!
Homeboy with the Zero Two mag lol
Is that the anime one? 🙈
Absolutely amazing. Damned impressive work.
Thanks man! I appreciate it
Doing the Lord's work.
Hope you guys enjoy it! 😘
Very nice work!
Thank you! I'm enjoying it
I literally just rebuilt my apple pie 5 minutes ago after cracking the reciever
Oh noooo how'd that happen??
Well that’s neat. Now I want pie. *breathes heavy in Dean Winchester*
I miss that show!

Stank on da Stonk
Awesome pie!
Thanks man
@@MiddletonMade3D you do damn good work, sir.
😘
Why would you want to support FedCad and Defense Distributed?!
Because they're the only ones in court to make it so we can even share these files openly, participation on their site helps devs, and the fact people use the term fedcad only further proves the fact they don't actually understand the regulations behind these files and how places like gatelog and odysee still host for free.
I understand not wanting to verify you're a US person. I get not wanting to have to pay for files. I even get being against collecting non commercial files for everyone. But the moniker fedcad is disingenuous and use of their platforms not mandatory.
@@MiddletonMade3D Meh. Doesn't mean I need it. Useless platform.
Useless, no. Need it, also no. Starbucks exists and I don't appreciate them or their products but I don't complain when others use it 🤷♂️
The SL-15 has some competition
It's an honor to have you think so. Hoffman is still top dog, especially if one doesn't want so much metal.
@@MiddletonMade3D I’ve completed projects by Ivan and Hoffmanns designs, this seems to convince me there is a middle ground between functionality, reliability, and this lower is in my opinion a lot more traditional ar looking/aesthetically pleasing.
you have an eye for design my man for sure. This is my current project, great work!
Thanks man, I really appreciate that
Apple pie and guns.
Perfect
Yum! 👏
apple pie k when? I saw a video of it a while back
3D Arms is leading that project but I'll follow up soon and see where we're at!
The Apple Pie almost looks like a Spas 15.
I can see the similarities
Gotta blink one eye at a time like a Gecko
Sounds kinky!
How the hell are you running a super safety? I thought those things are illegal now by the ATF.
Not quite. We have word of a place being raided but no one's seen the warrant or any official info on why the raid occurred outside of one tweet. There's other companies selling them so it makes me curious to see the warrant and see if super safety is mentioned or the full auto conversions for m11 they had
Based on what? The ATF haven't made any official statements on the matter.
Cody, what does it mean for people to have that trigger? Should they get rid of it destroy it or wait for the ATF to call them up?
The ATF should post the warrant so people can see why they want to twin brothers. Is it the trigger the super safety for the cheese shredder they have to specify we have to see the warrant people have the right to see that
I just need to see what's actually going on.
Can't wait for Apple Strudel to come out.
Me toooooo
Awesome!
Thanks!
Just like Grandma used to make
I can smell it now
Super Safety... That aged well.
After some time, I think it won't be a touchy subject anymore.
@MiddletonMade3D If more people showed up to ranges with FRT's, public perception will change, but only if we do it in a positive way by using them safely.
I agree wholeheartedly.
HEAT
That's how you bake a pie! Haha
I can't believe you used a store bought pie. Shame, shame.
Hey I TOTALLY made that and was prepped for this video ahead of time!
But I totally agree. Next time.
@@MiddletonMade3D With home grown apples and real lard in the crust. No substitutes!
My mouth is watering 🤤
Ugh, you called is a rifle when you're clearly holding a pistol.
I meant rifle caliber 😉, not rifle rifle.
1:43 dude promoting super Safety's is going to land you in hot water with the ATF because it was born of patent infringement. I would make this video not available to the public if you don't want to get sued.
The ATF doesn't handle patent infringement and even if they did, I'm not making or selling the super safety. I have no business with a super safety or any other trigger other than mil spec.
If the patent holder wanted to sue me, there would be no grounds as all I did was make a video with it.
@@MiddletonMade3D the ATF does handle Patent infringement when the case reaches Federal Courts which it has. And You can be sued for making a video with the super safety in it for you are technically profiting from views/subscriber's. Any financial gain from the Use, Production, or sale that is not fundamentally strictly educational like "you show the super safety for a visual representation" is being considered as "theft" for promoting a counterfeited product.
But these aren't my words, these are the words of the Patent holders Fortune 500 legal counsel.
Heed my warning human.
Luckily YT won't monetize my videos. I just make them to show my designs. I appreciate your concern my friend.
@@ElohimYellowLiterally nothing you just posted is true. The guy claiming patent infringement is A) clearly delusional as the two have ZERO parts in common and B) nothing but an angry baby that nobody is buying his piece of junk because someone else made a better solution for free. He can go cry to mommy all he wants, doesn't make him any less of a whiny loser.
Plus, unless something is proven to be infringement, there's no harm in showing it used/not promoting it
Who thinks the cheapest 50cal is a good idea?
Why not? Seems to work great. The failure points are designed in a way to fail safe/deactivate the weapon. Using the AR platform for this title gives a lot of leeway. If it was a new receiver design, I'd totally understand the skepticism.
Nice touch ... Ukraine flag and russian
👀 I must have missed that myself. Lmao

Fun fact apple pie isn't American, shout-out to @lostinthepondUS
I do! It's been a joke for a while that I should have made in the video. The trope feels multilayered and ironic.
