I think it is almost a leo pta. To compare them: It has smaller size, higher camo (like a t.10 light tank), and better gun (dpm and accuracy) if you can use it, can be played as a light tank (passive scout) as well as sniper medium tank, bcs it has less weight, turbo increases the power/wt ratio more than leo pta. On the other hand, less accurate gun on turbo mode and less dpm on seige mode so it's harder to play, and less armor, not as good shell speed and dps. Moe requirement and battle performance are very similar to leo pta even though it is played by higher number of players. And we know that when more players play a tank, average dmg decreases. So I can emphasize that it is a very good tank, but not with an usual play style. Use turbo mode when loading, and change to sniper mode before shooting not necessarily 2s before shooting, you can change it at any point during loading, not much difference, bcs dpm doesn't decrease until you fully change to seige(not instantly when you press X).
I think Leopard PTA is much much better. If you look at the MoE as refetence, don't forget people need to go trough stock grind on Leopard PTA.
Leopard PTA moe value would be at 3800-3900 if it didn't have stock grind. And it is easily one of the best tier 9 med. Alongside kpz 50t and t-55a.
Kunze is good, but not that good

I 3 marked this tank almost without using the siege mode, I used improved aiming and vents to reduce the .4 accuracy and used rammer to max the dpm and kept it in that mode, the gun seemed to troll me more in the accurate mode 😅

I actually didnt realize this had siege mode LOL! I played it in the standard mode and did pretty good. Guess I need to take it out again and try the siege mode play.
in blitz the Kunze is a tier 7 light that plays like the blitz tier 8 RU 251
not many pc players would care as pc plays significantly different than blitz

The unused tokens are transformed into bunch of Bonds, so if you like the bonds it is no problem. But you cannot buy any tanks for bonds after even over.
Thinking about getting this one as next reward vehicle. Dont want Lorraine 50t.
I think I used no vents on this tank and used vstab, rammer, improved aiming so I dont need to use siege mode, and I quite liked the tank this way.
But you miss -15 degree

I play it with scout build and then i use siege mode pretty often and just accept the around 2000 dpm but often i can get nice spotting

i use the same setup with bounty IA, the main issue with this tank is its borderline unuseable gun when out of siege mode and stabs+IA fixes that issue pretty well tbh. i think the experimental module that gives aim time + dispersion could replace stabs but that shit is expensive lmfao
I love Kunze Panzer! I recommend stabs, vents and rammer. I have 3 marks on it.

This is by far my fav tank in the game. It gives me the best results in dmg and kills and it gits my ambush/skirmish stayle of play perfectly. I m using the siege mode only on a hill or ridge. In bushes i rarely use it cause the accuracy is good enough in normal mode and i need to be able to retreat quickly. I use vents, rammer and mobilty imp. system

If the "staying in place" camo stays in siege mode it would make sense to lose some DPM. However WG are not really famous for completeness .. basically in anything they've ever done to my knowledge.
For me tank is ok. It's like semi-lt, it's tiny (i'm sure smaller than hwk30, maybe smaller than ru251), fast and i rarely use siege mode ... only to gain some gun depression and accuracy, but reverse speed goes to hell which is not great. But to outplay some tanks, it can work. Yes, it has one second longer reload than let's say amx30, but I prefer this tank. I've done some spotting mission like be only one who spots 3 tanks at the time of destruction on steppes.
For me it works better than CharFutur ... which is mental exercise for me ... and surprise: it works better than kpz50t which has bad gun handling and dpm as well and armor does not work when i rely on it too much. I feel like this tank is very flexible with combo of camo, size and speed.
This thing has one of the best concealment in tier 9. You can have a second set up with CVS to spot if map and matchmaking allows. Otherwise, sniping is really easy with such a high camo rating.
I play my kunze like a light tank (CVS, exhaust and binocs); when the "team" has more lights, and some seem decent, then I "switch" to medium mode: vent, rammer and the gun accuracy eq.
The thing that makes me work better with kunze is precisely what annoys Skill: the micromanagement. It makes me focus on the game.
char futur(almost 500games 54%win rate) was my first love after i rejoined wot in january 2022, finally got the kunze after grinding cobra and its just great, i came back to the game to realise i had 300dmg average in 5k games(in 2022, i played 5k games when i was 13 so i still am red bot by the service record), on my kunze i have 2.6kdmg average and over 1.1k exp, and i believe this tank works so good for me because strv is my best tank(by service record, i have 57-58%win rate in 500 games with it) (i was drunk while posting this comment, idk why i gave so many detils but the rachia is talking)(i got my overall winrate from 46% to almost 49%in a year, pretty proud, last 4 months i had over 53%overall, medium/tank destroyers agressive gameplay, wintate each month, now thats an upgrade in my humble opinion)
I did not take this tank from BP on purpose. I preferr bonds. And also skipped Lorraine 50 t.
It’s not bad, can be fun on the right maps/matchups but I prefer T-55A.
i will never understand hate torwards this tank... this is one of my favourites tanks in this game :) after 280 battles i have avr dmg of 2200... so its good :) i love this tank... its lightning fast... you can change position at any time... you can play as a best sniper in the team or rush forward and fight close distance... you can play on a ridgeline with that gun depression... with very good alpha dmg this tank can rly do a lot... and it is extremly versatile... and the best part is people often underestimate this tank... so its even easier to play ;) imo this and Char Future are the best tanks you can get from Battle Pass :)

It turns out I am the kind of weirdos who love Audi & also love the Kunze, LOL! Skill, how do you know that's a combo for some baboons!
One thing I want to point out is I prefer Kunze's "weird" seige mode over the kind which is used by tanks like the UDES 14 5, because I have full control over when to activate it, & it's speed is not that bad even when in siege mode. The kind of siege mode which UDES 14 5 has, which activates when you slow down and point your gun down, always screw me up, since I ended up exposing myself over ridgeline longer than I want, and it mess up my aim frequently because when it activates and hull starts to tilt down, it mess up the dispersion.
UDES 14 5 (and later )does not have a siege mode. They have a pneumatic suspension and it does activate kind of like siege mode, but not really. IDN I quite like the UDES 14 way. Game has failed me many times on "manual" triggers. You think you've clicked it, but 2 seconds later game decides you didn't. My point is that UDES's suspension triggered can and is used in close combat, while the Kunze siege mode is not as flexible.
tbh, i really njoy this tank... i know its not as good as Leopard PTA, but it just fits me.
switch mode all the time with good timing and you are winning so much more.. 3moe with 3K5 dpg on it

Not cool any more long time ago. Bad gun handling, bad dpm, bad mobility. The most important thing is that you have many other tanks to get.
I still drive mine each game session. Makes great credits
When skill calls 2.1k average damage of the other Kunze the performance of an average player, man that really gets you in the feels
eu has many more tomato than NA, skill is good but also gets to farm trash players

I think it has a sniper mode (with accuracy and aimspeed) and a brawler mode (with speed and dpm). Its fairly balanced, you are not forced to change mode after every shot :D Otherwise you can do it in bullfight too, going snipemode before every shot :D

"Enemies had no team what so ever", of course they had a bad team. The match maker in World of Thanks is GARBAGE. The designers of the match maker need several hard kicks to the balls. The incredibly bad match maker causes a lot of people to quit this game. Unbalance teams suck and WoT is not worth playing until it is fixed.

But if they "fixed" it I guarantee their would still be ppl complaining, you know how hard it would be to find 30 of the same skill based players playing the same tiers and playing all varieties of the tanks and not just 1 or 2 classes? That would be almost impossible, without filing in the spots with bots, you might get lucky and get a game or two a day with no bots or you'd be sitting in the que for a long time while the matchmaker found everyone who is in the right tank and the same skill level and all that, impossible

MM gets same tier / type tanks vs enemy team. Works OK
But then lands majority of 55%+ players on one team.
Why not mix up so average recent would be close to 50/50?

I like Kunze Panzer and most of the time I don't use the mod. Usually it hits the shots without the sniper schnitzel mod and I fill it's more trollish with it as well. I prefer the DPM.
My win rate in this tank is 59 percent
I just got the kunze panzer a month or two ago and I don't think I've had but maybe 2 good games with it, I don't like it very much and I don't think it likes me

this is suprise for me how skill play kunze, if i can give you a tip, i have kunze this maybe only me but dont play really agressive play it like TD find a bush to camp in stay in siege mode and just farm, i play it like it and i have 3k dpg, then if you see enemies are low hp or somehing go infront and trade in close range, you have deacent dpm when you are not in the mode, just dont go trade with some tanks with good alpha and good dpm
Please don't get me wrong, I understand your comment is well intended. But if you are doing 3k dpg, what on earth makes you think your idea of how to play Kunze is good for Skill if he does 4k dpg (see end of video)?!

While I do better in Cobra I prefer the Kunze as it's faster and more fun to play. Also having deadly good aim and unusual gun depression works well with my play style.

@@martinma9724 The reviews on that tank are so bad I went with the bonds! I like medium tanks, so my ranking is probably something like Cobra-Char-Kunze, although of the 3 I really only crave the kunze for some reason.
@@martinma9724 I like the 50t but most people hate it. You have to run bounty turbo and regular vents in survivability slot to get the most out of it's speed. I run food as well. I don't run a rammer because with that speed you'll want gun stability. So I run stabs in firepower slot.
This leaves the reload at a slow 12-13 seconds even with bia as well. But the gun has good .28-29 accuracy with field mods, and I really like the zoom and hull down or peekaboom play style.
All in all it's a fun tank for some, trash tank for most others.
I love Kunze! It's great for sniping and can be quite agressive with a right positioning. Three mark was really smooth to achieve😊

@@martinma9724 It is not noob friendly and if skill says the tank sucks, it sucks, that fact that it's easy to 3 mark proves that it sucks.
Correct, although it's worth mentioning that it is highly dependant on the field mods. For me the trick was to only use the siege mode to get a pixelshot or when you need to get that extra gun depression.
I think it is almost a leo pta, but with smaller size, higher camo, and better gun if you can use it. On the other hand, less accurate gun on turbo mode, and less armor. Marking difficulty depends on the player style, and skill said it is hard to mark it and it is not his "cup of tee".

Just got this tank with my remaining 12 tokens, it’s definitely hard to play well consistently, but it’s fun and rewarding and require brain to play ❤
I luv this tank. . . Today in loosing game i make 7.5k dmg, it's weird i know but i dont know its funny to play time after time ! My crazy setup: rammer, optics and ventilation (food) and work nice, 65% WR

I am not a great player and I worried about being awful in this tank, but I enjoy the gun and the mobility, almost never enter siege mode, and it always makes me credits.

You always talk about assuming and hitting targets Skill as if there were a certain way this game worked. But IMO in reality there are multiple ways to it works. And Kunze demonstrates it well.
1. Sniper: great accuracy, big bloom after shots and while moving, you got to stand still and aim, works in long distances - 200m+? - low DPM. Will not really work in brawls.
2. Brawler: bad accuracy on paper but you hit close to mid range targets by simply snapping them, cannot hit anything reliably in long range, great DPM.
IMO tanks are placed on this slider where one end is the absolute sniper and the other is the absolute brawler. Like Leopard and STB (or Patton).
So Kunze has both ends of the slider by going into siege mode. If you are mostly brawling, then you snap targets close-mid range and don’t expect hitting too far targets. You have immense aim time as well but you don’t care when you brawl. The game will compensate for it. And when you are in siege, you aim faster, better accuracy and can hit farther targets. But snapping will not work.
In don’t think it’s really calculating ballistics and such, it’s just has a chance of hitting depending on the above styles and target distance. (Plus how armoured the target is, but that’s another story)
And yes, when you play a Russian tank it all does not matter, that’s why IS7 can hit Manticore from 450 m while speeding. It’s pure chance calculation on these sliders.

Just another tank thrown in to get people to waste their money on. It's a bad tank that has many other options that do a better overall job and not completely one dimensional.
Money? I guess maybe if you *bought* battlepass chapters you could find a way to purchase this tank with money.

Try to Disconnect your Acount from Twitch and reconnect ist. It worked by me, the most times.
