It wasn't the same Type 58, but the platoon of BZ-58's from the first battle on Serene Coast was on the opposing team when fighting El Halluf. Btw, stock turret has so much more traverse speed.
Played 42 matches in this tank yesturday, managed to grind out all its components. Running Hardening, Turbski and rammer. Have a great day Skill! Big thanks and respect from the NA [BABNS] crew!
feels like the stock gun is the way to go for me...T8 gun is not accurate at all.
Dunno what your point of reference is, but apart from perhaps a hull down T29, which T7 heavy tanks armor holds up once the enemy loads gold? Tiger? IS? KV-3? Certainly not. 😉

I think you should put on the equipments: turbocharger, a gun depression device, and a commander's binoculars. turbocharger to boost speed, and commander's binoculars to have a longer view range.
I actually prefer the 85mm stock gun on the BZ-58. The 100mm's increased damage and pen are nice, but the lower accuracy and much greater reload just make it harder to work with. I also run a Turbo instead of an Aiming Device, because the increase in speed and engine power makes the whole tank so much more comfortable.
Would have been nice to see it against +1 or +2 tiers, as it happens to us all in MM
I was about to write the same. This MM happens only to VIPs.. now when i get usual MM vs t9 i rise turret then 3 x T and farwell... that what im pissed about playing this.. but as normal player i have to grind the line using standard modules no rations etc.. so this gun never hits target ( only when u fight H2H maybe ). I like your vids anyway Skill
looks pretty decent just have my doubts about the gun.

tier 9 seems like the best one in this tech tree. Same dpm but better armor then the t10 (way better dpm and armor then the t8 and t7)

I faced this tank today with a t29, and when I loaded gold I shredded it like a piece of paper :)
armour on those new chineese tanks doesnt exist, its better to stick to tanks like vz.55, s.conq, or even t110 e5

exactly my thoughts, after the nerf of the t29's top gun, I played with 90mm, and when you are loading gold, that is just a killing machine. The only downside of t29 is mobility, other than that still the best tier 7 heavy, which could potentially even be useful against tier 9th, on maps like Sand River. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by t32 performance even in today's reality against premium bz-s
@@shark_de_mique all the t7 HT turret expect t29 can easy pen by gold . T29 is still so much OP for t7, decent and good player will doing a banger with it , BZ t7 is balanced not so broken

Played this tank from stock got everything now for it 65 percent win rate so far and really enjoying it fun tank to play imo

Glad you had a blast, my first game stock, I got whooped hard with plus 2 MM. this tank is a hunk of junk, no armor, no gun, and no mobility.
I played like 22 battles with this tank. In second battle Mastery 3.8k dmg..But it get worse when you got T9 matchmaking
Bz 58 armor for its tier quite good but albeit need dpm and gun buff
oddly enough this tank reminds me a lot of the tier 7 italian heavy tank. It's not super well armored but it has flexibility in its speed. When i see tier 8 in this tank i assume the role of a medium. The biggest concern to me atleast is that it has only 350 base view range, so it's tough making it work in the medium field unless you commit to optics as an equipment option
Similar to the Carro, I generally prefer the stock 85mm gun on the BZ-58 also. I only wish that the alternate loadout allowed you to have a different gun as well as ammo, however, as I'd totally go for the 100mm for T9 games especially.
I've played a 100+ games in this with a 58% win rate with 4-skill crew (overall, i'm a 52%er). I like it -- but have some awful battles in it. What you say, Skill, is true. Armor is not good when there is gold involved and higher tiers can eat up your HP quickly. The lower plate is a landing pad for shells. I miss lots of shots with the gun. Started out with Vents Rammer and Improved Aiming but seemed to be getting ammo racked enough that I replaced the IA with Modified Configuration. I have to remind myself sometimes not to boost aggressively into situations and to be patient because you can't always rely on armor to tank you out of a bad situation.
Seems more balanced than the premium 176

If the enemy is a high caliber gun tank such as a 152mm-gun, watch out for your side, as the side is literally made of thin sheets of glass -- 70mm of armor on the side......
It's lower plate looks same as smv cc-56s

Why don´t you try the 85mm Gun? More Accurate and DPM... works for me better
i really like this tank, have been grinding it from fully stock and got ace tanker twice with the first gun, full is just a pleasure to play but those three booster charges feel like you are missing something
Its 0.39 gun handling and horrible 24 degree hull traverse prevent me from enjoying it too much...
@@panzerwafflez7228 ah yeah the hull traverse is a pile of garbage, but never felt that dispersion, right now it is the tier 7 with what i have the best stats
@@alejandrozapataq I feel it a bit especially when aiming for weakspots on tier8s. Nothing more infuriating then being fully aimed at a bz176 lower glacis and hitting his upper....

I think it helps a lot the way we take tanks, for example the turtle 1 is trash for most of people, but i think it is really epic and fun to play so yeah
Sounds like most of the tanks nowadays. When the player says, enough these bounces and loads gold, the armor becomes obsolete
There is no EXTRA DOSE of SKILL! There is always too few! :-)

For me it is the worest grind from stock to fully pimped out,and as you preddicted ,fighting tier 8 and 9 its geting spanked by everything and also gun is very trolly ,I would take KV-3 or IS-2M over this any day

Stock gun Is so much better with this, dpm, accuracy, handling, aim time, shell speed. . Only alpha is worse but you can also permatrack with the stock gun.

Wow this is a joke of a tank compared to BZ-176 this is very sad. Oh its tier 7 well still even tier 8 is not as good.
That's how it always is. Premium is op for obvious reasons, tech tree gets whatever.

I think skill like other unicums dont plau 7 tier and skip them :D Because no any 7 tier HT with armor :D exept T-29 tower. With 8 tier tank you dont have any problem vs 7 tier HTs
Hey, an average new tank is better than a crazy O.P that will break tier 7 balancing. I'm just thankful for that.

5 first battles 3k dpg, after grind to T8, 1700 dpg, this tank have 0 chance in higher tier matchmakings, gun is not shooting where u are aiming..

They gave it 230mm turret armor just so it can survive all the BZ-176😂😂😂

No armor, gun shoots to the moon... got good games but sold it after a while, the grind is painful. Not going further through the line, not worth my time.

Awful turret and armour,it can ding sometimes.... Cant play him in hull down because of that weak turret...Gun is not really accurate too...
Tank has no armor, you say? Play it w/the stock turret and see how it feels lol When stock, gun's the only decent thing: mobility is shi7, turret is made of expired play-doh, engine (what engine?)...

It is nice to see that I share the same opinion about this piece of junk with skill. I was unpleasently with armour, mobility too. Yes, you have 3 boosters, but those 30 secs are the only decent ones in terms of mobility. All in all, huge dissapointment!

This tank has a disgusting gun, disgusting dpm and no armor. On top of that its slow af without boosters. Thanks for nothing WG, no use to play this line.
Not sure why you make such a big deal out of it's armor. Most heavies in tier 6-7-8 have no armor once the enemy dabs the 2 key, reason why we have many use it by default. Or do you think any tier 7 is tank has better armor in nowadays wot? Or vz44 same thing, armor till 2 key then paper.
Specially funny when they once again make it a hull down tank in hull down wonderland where you otherwise have to snipe a tiny pixel with 800 shell velocity.
The game is stuck in a complete sh*tloop in that regard. Hull down wonderland on every couple meters and you either have tanks you can't even engage or you have heavies that have to play lights as anything goes through them anyways, unless rng decides for a miraculous bounce.
BZ-58 a T7 tank with all the stats of a T8 tank, armor, penn, speed mobility, then next T8 premm tanks will be... im bored of this game's power creep, specially the 2-3 pizxel size weak spots.
You mean the pixel size weak spot that is the turret if you loaded gold ammo? The BZ-58 is fine as it is, the strongest in the line will probably be the Tier 9.
Only their premium counter part is op af. The whole line is mediocre at best.
Rocket boosters on tanks is an absolute joke. Why not put phasers, and quantum torpedoes on the tanks as well? What about ability to transport instantly to any where on the map? What other horseshit will be tried?
Hello Skill, Played around 10 battles with this Horrible tank.. sold it and went to T8... in t8 battles you are totally useless, DPM and accuracy are terrible and absolutely no armor.. Tks for your vids as usual! ;)
pls never show first 3 battles. Those 3 battles have different MM. 10x!
Actually i really like this tank, my fav tier 7 was t29, this tank is replacing it from now on...

Yep this tank is garbage. Stock tank - virtually autopen by most t6 and any t7 and above with low pen gun that can't pen the arse of an O-Ni without rolling high. At my current rate I will loose 100K+ credits over 300 battles before I get it fully researched - and then I am awarded with a less than average HT. Why bother - really....
terrible painful piece of wargaming's idiotic creative mind which is absent btw, it's bad, it's slow, always targeted by arty. IT's rockets are making it move like any other normal tank, when booster ends, then it becomes worse than tortoise, except witthout it's armor or gun.
