Just so you know Kpz is nowhere near the same amount of OP as Chieftain lmao, Chief has an impenetrable turret when hulldown, KPz turret however is very very susceptible to 330+ HEAT even hulldown
In terms of armor it's a clone of the Leopard, although the mobility is more similar to AX. I thought it was just a slower Leopard but this thing has DPM and if Leopard 1 is nerfed then everyone will use this tank. This is very suspiciously same situation with Lion and Progetto 65, I hope Leopard 1 doesn't get nerfed to the ground.

imo, the tank is not worth the buck. the difference between leo and vic is not big for you to spend that fortune. in the end of the days, either you play vic or leo makes no difference for a lot of people who cant fully utilize its dpm potential.
Actually, with higher alpha and faster aim speed, Leo1 is more newbie-friendly. This tank is very good without a doubt but it trades quite a lot of things on the Leo1 for that DPM. Alpha, aim speed, gold APCR is better for sniping compared to HEAT, top speed of course, and the forehead for cheeky ridgeline cupola sniping. HEAT can shred German tanks and pen S.Conq roof, but APCR can go through tracks, which is a lot more important when sniping.
This tank is what AMX 30b should be. 268 AP pen, best DPM among all MT, and 330 heat, with no armor, but WG killed AMX 30b, real tank for BC 25 t.....damn son
AMX 30B is a similar tank with the SAME HP, BETTER speed and armor, and the SAME 105 gun with 3000 Average Damage per Minute (close to 4000 with Equipment) - AMX 30B was the nearly same as Leo1 and because of that fact, WG nerfed them!
Skill we need a video on how to re-train the crew. Can't "reset" them like I used to and transfer the skills to the main skill. Is the only way to train them up to 100% with gold now, even if you have like 4 skills?

It is though, even if it isnt directly, it doesnt matter. Not many players (if any) have gotten 100M credits free to play with no premium tanks or premium account. Not many players if any, have grinded 1M free xp just from playing the game without converting gold to free xp and if they have grinded 1M free xp, for free they wont have it all saved up at once to splurge on this tank, they probably used it in small amounts over the years grinding stock tanks. No one has 50k gold without spending real money. And its not possible to get the tank with just blueprints. The only possible option is bonds, maybe and even then a F2P would struggle to get that many bonds as its hard to afford to play tier 10s that much to grind 50k bonds. Any way you look at it, someone spent money along the line (99.9%, or higher that people who have this tank, have spent money on the game that has afforded them the opportunity to buy it) to then get the resources to get the tank. So yes, it is for money even if not directly, it absolutely is something that only playing customers can reasonably obtain which is why skill is absolutely right when he says WG will never nerf assembly shop tanks. Its also why none of the assembly shop tanks so far have been very good, or OP as WG knows they cant/wont nerf them, (they wont want to release *any* of the assembly shop tanks as OP because WG doesnt want another BZ problem and knows they cant/wont nerf them) its why the BZ has never been sold again, WG knows they messed up badly with the release of it and instead of nerfing it they just have never sold it again. Internally, WG knows the BZ is op, Ive seen threads of employees (allegedly) talking about how the BZ is a well known problem, within the company, but they cant/wont do anything about it which is why they just wont sell it again to artificially have less and less BZ's in the MM which would then reduce the problem.
I got this tank and I really like it. The gun is extremely accurate even at full speed. No armor like the Char Futr. I have vents, rammer and camo. If you don't have a Leo then get this tank. That's why I got it. I had well over a million free XP and used 1 million free XP and that's all it took.

I have 4350 dpg on vickers, super unicum stats across the board, I’m an extreme sweat. Tier X indeed is dog shit, unforgiving for paper vehicles especially, tons of good guns on this tier, ridiculous shitbarns almost every game, very stressful to perform well in demanding tanks. I am playing it because it’s a pinnacle of performance, yet players are notably more aware and focused than on lower tiers, harder to outplay.
@@gorans9756 I am just a unicum, not a super unicum, tier 10 is actually super enjoyable once you no longer have to worry about losing credits. My most played tier 10 tank is the FV4005 where I have 96.8% MOE on it, imo, nuking people with the FV4005 is the peak of WoT.
You should take into consideration giving half of the star. It would perfectly fit in 4.5 out of possible 5. Mobility as well 4.5 or 5. There is not much tanks that agile as this one. -0,5 star cause of the maximum speed unfortunatelly just 55. Regards mate.
Tbh, if you don’t have Leo and want to have the experience, and you’re a paying customer, I don’t see why not get this if you have the free xp converted during event. The whole Leo one line doesn’t have anything interesting until leo pt and even then you need a ton of free xp to get the gun and engine.

another problem is 390 alpha guns on mediums.. foil hat is on and I declare those guns broken in wot.. it feels like amount of low rolls are much.. much more often than high rolls.. 70/30 odds in my opinion by playing many games with such guns on meds..
All guns have low roll in this game. There is a mod from Yusha on WOT mods, called "Regime of oppression" and there you can see how many shots you gave under or over the declared average dmg. I've tested many tanks and I can tell you that in average the odds are around 62/38 in favour of low rolls.

Im just a bang average player and watch Skill's posts in the hope for getting better. Never bought an Assembly Tank before but a combination of FOMO, game currency to burn and Skill's glowing review saw me buy the Vickers MBT Mk3. I enjoy the Leopard 1 but that's not to say I am any good so I thought I understood what I was letting myself in for. In reality I ended up with a Tank made of paper, great gun handling but cant penetrate the majority of Tier X at half distance and rank poor concealment. My observations are based on game play not stats. Massive mistake on my part and little more than a credit drain for majority of players IMO. A buff in any one of the three areas mentioned is going to be needed to make this tank balanced verses other Tier X If you are a top player like Skill you can probably make this tank work and have some fun ? but for many (like me) this is an unforgiving son of a bitch tank to play where you might get 1 in 6-8 good games and that's not even accounting for the target on your back because (a) its an assembly tank and (b) you are a Piñata on wheels. First time I have found myself at odds with Skill. I have even watched other Vickers players get wiped from the battlefield in double quick time so I know I'm not alone. In the meantime I will grind through the Field Modes in the hope of finding a miracle falling which a 'How to Play' update would be gratefully received Skill? Alternatively, if anyone knows a way to sell / transfer this wonderful vehicle please let me know

Srry but there's no chance they're going to nerf the leo 1. It has a worse winrate than: CS-63, 121, Udes, Cent AX, STB-1, E50M, Obj.430U, Obj.140, K-91 - then the leo comes in at 48,95%.. I haven't played down all the medium lines but except the american medium it's basically got the worst winrate than every other medium tank in the game. I love the leo 1, but it's not in any shape or form an OP medium - it's skill level means it will always have a mediocre winrate, noobs lose in it, vets win in it. Srry Skill but I have to ask: Have you been asked by wargaming to fearmonger in order to sell more Vickers?

Modules and crew on every tank have a chance to completely "evade" damage. Hope you're happy to find out there's a roleplaying game mechanic in your arcade tank shooter
I think it's better than the leo. It has fast heat rounds over apcr and having great dpm with a scouting setup. Great players are going to be able to do insane things in it since it has everything but armor. (edit spelling)

But SKEEEEEL. Feels like one of those tanks that you take a bad hit early leaving you on 69HP in the first shot but end up doing 8k danage and win against four tanks because you just hit every shot. Then you have four games where you get spotted and one shot by arty or an FV in a row with zero damage. High skill cap but most of the time youre getting oened in the face by tanks with armor.

Better DPM, much better gold pen: more pen and no penetration loss with better gun handling and better accuracy. It has better power to ratio than Leo. So it is better than Leo. And it has much better turret traverse. It is better than Leopard, surelly, close but still better. Power creep clearly. Leopard is not a good vehicle so this tank is more balanced. Nice introduction. Saddly for Leo players that still has an weak vehicle to play with. This tanks has about 30% better gun handling than Leo. So Leo better aimtime means nothing. Gun handling is more important. Simply a better vehicle. Considering that Leo is not a good vehicle and it is stronger I think that Wargaming did a good introduction at least. Leo needs a accuracy and gun handling buff and will be balanced: if so them one with better power, turret turn ratio and better gold the other with better alpha. Nowadays, llike it is, this vehicle is quite better than Leopard. THIS IS A LEOPARD THAT REALLY WORKS, LIKE LEO SHOULD BE, SPECIALLY BECAUSE DINAMICS AND GOLD AMMO.
Well the last two tanks like this i had plenty of gold from Christmas loot boxes this time im pretty low on everything so my dumb @ss will probably just buy $100 worth of gold probably more to convert some free xp. I know its stupid but i cant help myself i like collecting tanks and i really like the leo so im getting it plus it will cost me like 2-3 hours of work to make that back.
An argument "Buy the tank because another similar would be nerfed" sounds ridiculous. Think about it, they will nerf the tank for no reason, which was meta in 2015, but now it's painful to play, despite having excellent characteristics. So, you would either spend in game resources or what's even more dumb your real money in game, where devs spit in your face. It's your choice, sure, but the argument is flawed to the bones. Not to mention that Vickers is not and will not be meta, but rather opposite to meta because of the map design and mm, where heavies and assult and some versatile TDs rule
You graded this tank 4 stars. You gave 5 stars for gun handling, 4 stars for speed/mobility and 4 stars for ammunition. All in all, 4 stars. Then you graded Burasque as 5 stars. That tank has 5 stars on speed/mobility, the rest of the grades are 1 or 2 stars. How come Burasque is an overall 5-star tank and Vikers only 4? I don't see the logic in your grading!!!
Because there is none?:) Bourrasque is a tier 8 with a capability to take pretty much any medium without hardening in 2 clips. It has a camo that exceeds the of many lights. So, for it's tier it is 5 stars. Rating Vickers 4 is dumb because it is a paper redline warrior, 2-3 at best. Without any selling feature really, if you think about it. It's DPM is a pure copium, because it will be used in 1 out of 10 battles. Characteristic wise, it is a good tank, but it is not a meta tank in a current state of the game

If it is tier IX i would not think twice. Tier X is worst tier to play with, expensive, and usually not fun at all.

another problem is 390 alpha guns on mediums.. foil hat is on and I declare those guns broken in wot.. it feels like amount of low rolls are much.. much more often than high rolls.. 70/30 odds in my opinion by playing many games with such guns on meds..

All guns have low roll in this game. There is a mod from Yusha on WOT mods, called "Regime of oppression" and there you can see how many shots you gave under or over the declared average dmg. I've tested many tanks and I can tell you that in average the odds are around 62/38 in favour of low rolls.

Im just a bang average player and watch Skill's posts in the hope for getting better. Never bought an Assembly Tank before but a combination of FOMO, game currency to burn and Skill's glowing review saw me buy the Vickers MBT Mk3. I enjoy the Leopard 1 but that's not to say I am any good so I thought I understood what I was letting myself in for.
In reality I ended up with a Tank made of paper, great gun handling but cant penetrate the majority of Tier X at half distance and rank poor concealment. My observations are based on game play not stats. Massive mistake on my part and little more than a credit drain for majority of players IMO.
A buff in any one of the three areas mentioned is going to be needed to make this tank balanced verses other Tier X
If you are a top player like Skill you can probably make this tank work and have some fun ? but for many (like me) this is an unforgiving son of a bitch tank to play where you might get 1 in 6-8 good games and that's not even accounting for the target on your back because (a) its an assembly tank and (b) you are a Piñata on wheels.
First time I have found myself at odds with Skill. I have even watched other Vickers players get wiped from the battlefield in double quick time so I know I'm not alone.
In the meantime I will grind through the Field Modes in the hope of finding a miracle falling which a 'How to Play' update would be gratefully received Skill?
Alternatively, if anyone knows a way to sell / transfer this wonderful vehicle please let me know

Srry but there's no chance they're going to nerf the leo 1. It has a worse winrate than: CS-63, 121, Udes, Cent AX, STB-1, E50M, Obj.430U, Obj.140, K-91 - then the leo comes in at 48,95%.. I haven't played down all the medium lines but except the american medium it's basically got the worst winrate than every other medium tank in the game. I love the leo 1, but it's not in any shape or form an OP medium - it's skill level means it will always have a mediocre winrate, noobs lose in it, vets win in it. Srry Skill but I have to ask: Have you been asked by wargaming to fearmonger in order to sell more Vickers?

Im kinda mad that WG took a crown of the most accurate gun from Leo and gave it to something behind huge paywall. It just feels like it's little better at everyting except alpha and top speed. It is not OP, just a little bit too good and maybe torn in the eye of Leo lovers (at least for me)
We speak a bit on Twitch, I have Leo1 and not the ressources to buy this one. I already met multiple yesterday and I can confirm that it has no armoer even against a t28 or a Shrek.

Modules and crew on every tank have a chance to completely "evade" damage. Hope you're happy to find out there's a roleplaying game mechanic in your arcade tank shooter

you can only buy the M60 for bonds though and you can buy it whenever you'd like to
It's designed to wipe your resources. If you tried to buy it with gold, it comes to 50k+.

It has fast heat rounds over apcr and having great dpm with a scouting setup.
Great players are going to be able to do insane things in it since it has everything but armor.

Type 59 and super P am i a joke on getting nerfed to you? The only reason if you compare the action shit to this tank is the mobility. They have the same mobility. This is probably what the 30b was supposed to be but they made you pay for it.

WG and their greed have ruined so many opportunities to introduce mini branches in the game. The Vickers Mk1 & Mk3 would've been great additions to the british tech tree as T9 & T10.... but I guess flushing the player accounts was more important

Feels like one of those tanks that you take a bad hit early leaving you on 69HP in the first shot but end up doing 8k danage and win against four tanks because you just hit every shot.
Then you have four games where you get spotted and one shot by arty or an FV in a row with zero damage.
High skill cap but most of the time youre getting oened in the face by tanks with armor.

Better DPM, much better gold pen: more pen and no penetration loss with better gun handling and better accuracy. It has better power to ratio than Leo. So it is better than Leo. And it has much better turret traverse. It is better than Leopard, surelly, close but still better. Power creep clearly. Leopard is not a good vehicle so this tank is more balanced. Nice introduction. Saddly for Leo players that still has an weak vehicle to play with.
This tanks has about 30% better gun handling than Leo. So Leo better aimtime means nothing. Gun handling is more important. Simply a better vehicle. Considering that Leo is not a good vehicle and it is stronger I think that Wargaming did a good introduction at least.
Leo needs a accuracy and gun handling buff and will be balanced: if so them one with better power, turret turn ratio and better gold the other with better alpha. Nowadays, llike it is, this vehicle is quite better than Leopard. THIS IS A LEOPARD THAT REALLY WORKS, LIKE LEO SHOULD BE, SPECIALLY BECAUSE DINAMICS AND GOLD AMMO.
And is fun to see how Grille 15 is useless. My god, Wargaming will never fix this. I hope Wargaming fire all its balancing staff.

Well the last two tanks like this i had plenty of gold from Christmas loot boxes this time im pretty low on everything so my dumb @ss will probably just buy $100 worth of gold probably more to convert some free xp. I know its stupid but i cant help myself i like collecting tanks and i really like the leo so im getting it plus it will cost me like 2-3 hours of work to make that back.
An argument "Buy the tank because another similar would be nerfed" sounds ridiculous.
Think about it, they will nerf the tank for no reason, which was meta in 2015, but now it's painful to play, despite having excellent characteristics.
So, you would either spend in game resources or what's even more dumb your real money in game, where devs spit in your face. It's your choice, sure, but the argument is flawed to the bones.
Not to mention that Vickers is not and will not be meta, but rather opposite to meta because of the map design and mm, where heavies and assult and some versatile TDs rule
And yeah, giving any paper tank 4 or even 5 stars in current state of the game is misleading, to say the least

That tank has 5 stars on speed/mobility, the rest of the grades are 1 or 2 stars. How come Burasque is an overall 5-star tank and Vikers only 4? I don't see the logic in your grading!!!

Bourrasque is a tier 8 with a capability to take pretty much any medium without hardening in 2 clips. It has a camo that exceeds the of many lights. So, for it's tier it is 5 stars.
Rating Vickers 4 is dumb because it is a paper redline warrior, 2-3 at best. Without any selling feature really, if you think about it. It's DPM is a pure copium, because it will be used in 1 out of 10 battles. Characteristic wise, it is a good tank, but it is not a meta tank in a current state of the game
