Great rendition of this classic! The 80s was a popular decade for acapella groups! Sadly, I believe the only one alive from this line-up is the guy who sings high falsetto.
I've seen several incarnations of the Nylons, from this group, up until 2012. I wondered what had happened to Arnold. :( The voices and the energy have been terrific in all the versions of the group.

It was originally recorded by Solomon Linda and the Evening Birds in South Africa in 1938 as Mbube and sung in the Zulu language. I saw them at the Waterloo Inn, in glamourous Waterloo, Ontario, along with about 20 other lucky people. They were just getting known. They were a great act.
I was fortunate enough to have seen them live several times...absolutely incredible! The only a capella group to come close to their caliber is VoicePlay!
I've heard these guys numerous time (probably a dozen) and they have changed a few members yet never get old. My view, I prefer their rendition over the Tokens.

I saw them in Las Vegas. They opened for the BEE GEES. They astounded the whole audience!!!
