For so long, I defined being healthy as being "skinny" and restricting my foods. When I would hear the word 'health' I would equate it with punishment. Well, I have asked two amazing people, a power couple - Jamil and Vanessa Hairston, who are experts to join me on my podcast this week as we talk about what health truly means. Jamil is a certified personal trainer, nutrition, coaching and body building. Vanessa is a pastor and health enthusist. Through their guidance and training I have been able to view health through a different lens - what it means in terms of having energy to play with my son Wally, how often my body gets sick and how I feel overall mentally.
