As a South Sudanese, I found this game incredibly fun to watch. Props to the South Sudanese team for good movement, good passing and solid defense, but I'll happily admit that we didn't face a US team at its full potential. There was hardly any help on defense whenever Thor or Jones drove to the basket, they were giving South Sudan too much space for open threes, and on offense they were lethargic and mostly stuck playing on the outside in the first half, despite having LeBron, Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis' physicality. All in all it is an indictment of the US team.
I was watching another video where everyone was real happy that “the games are close instead of blowouts.” This is the energy I need. Pathetic performance. Not every win is a win.

LeBron and AD play well off each other, add Steph and KD(when healthy) and you've got it cooking. he is entertaining but he is not teaching anything. A lot of the things that he is criticizing are just things that are bound to happen on the court regardless of coaching.

It's bizarre. The lineups should be easy. Keep LeBron with AD and Steph and put the Celtics players together with Bam and another shooter to spread the floor. Steve Kerr trying to create unnecessary stress so they can "earn" their gold medal...

@@Swaggyp50 I didn't watch the game, so I don't know. All I know is what I see on tape and the general idea of keeping units that know each other together. LeBron and AD play well off each other, add Steph and KD(when healthy) and you've got it cooking. Keep the Celtics together with Bam, who they see a lot of, and allow players that know each other's tendencies to work with each other. That's my whole point...
steph/jrue/tatum/lebron/ad should be the lineup and get most of the minutes. Edwards is a selfish ballhog and Embiid in a whiny baby who shows no effort on defense.
