Thank you so much. Till now she is not having a guru due corona two months before we buyed the violen now she is on practice only. U r wonderful explanation made her intresting thank you so much Upendra garu.

Absolutely helpful and will be very useful people like me as learners in early stage. Requesting to put some visual material string and finger points :)
Great video, thank you. Is M2 (Prathi Madhyamam) played with the 4th (ring) finger or 5th finger? It seems like you played it with the 5th but later mentioned it's not advisable to do so? Thank you.
Thank you very much sir... For the clear and wonderful explanation.. One small suggestion.. I think it is shatshruti rishabham / dhaivatam .. And not shatchatusruti..
Thank u ma’am. You are right it is shatshruthi 😊. We have been taught as shatchatushruthi in college . But that after all these years of research, realized that was wrong 😃
Your videos/ explanations are very clear and i learnt tuning my violin from your videos..you are doing a great job..thanks alot for sharing your knowledge 🙏
One main reason I suggest not to use stickers is so you develop note recognition by trial and error. Also the reason violin sounds awesome with gamakas is because it has no frets. So if you add frets or fret stickers, the whole purpose is gone
There are no particular brands. Anything from 100-200$ is good if in US. If in India, then anything between 5000-10000 is good. German violins are usually good for Indian style. Head to a music instrument store and they can guide u more.
Thank you so much sir! As a beginner I couldnt have asked for a better explanation. Sir one doubt.. my sir has asked me to play ri of mayamalavgoula like just 2mm above nut, which is lot lower than what you showed on this video. Is this right?
Finally a sensible approach to explain how carnatic music works for an absolute beginner... Thanks for this video

Ni3 is below Sa. Its called Kaakali Nishadham in Carnatic and Shudha Nishad in Hindusthani
@@UpendraDusa Yes sir, but I'm asking about Sa in the second string called shadjam then Sa in the first string is called?

Can a beginner can use fret stickers on violin

It’s a clothing company. It’s Abercrombie and Fitch but fitness
Thank you so much sir! As a beginner I couldnt have asked for a better explanation. Sir one doubt.. my sir has asked me to play ri of mayamalavgoula like just 2mm above nut, which is lot lower than what you showed on this video. Is this right?
Could be. It depends on violin too. As long as u r playing correct note, u should be fine. Use Pano tuner to check if u r playing the correct note
If u have more doubts, send me a message to upendradusa at g mail
