  • In this video we take a look at 5 rubbish football hooligan firms currently in the premier league. For information purposes we are NOT counting Bournemouth or Fulham, and we are making it historical, so they were always rubbish, even in the 70s and 80s. Don't forget, it's only a bit of banter so don't take it serious!

I'm Man United. In 70s and 80s Arsenal was no picnic at Highbury. This guy is a nob. Everyone on their day could get a decent mob/firm/crew together. Never disrespected anyone.

I don't think there was any fighting Southampton fans backed off into the corner singing you'll never take the Milton End. The police made the Forest fans leave and took them over the pitch to the away end. Southampton fans did throw lots of milk bottles at us going back to the station. Villa were ok at home but never took it to top firms away.
Arsenal were amongst the top firms way back, but for some reason got soft and an easy touch.
Ipswich went into the Millwall part and had a go, according to a Millwall mate who told me on the train home after the game (I was at a different London ground), but soon got battered when Millwall recovered from the shock, and Ipswich realised they were well out of their comfort zone.

In fact I was one of those who went in the Holte late 70's (I think) and even the Villa on the other side of the fence ran - ok when they realized how few of us there were, back they came, but first reaction was to run....... considering it was only a long single line of us top to bottom who made a left turn and looked at them, you'd expect a 'top firm' to have a few lads stand their ground.

@@user-vt2jo3oi7i well I've no idea where they were, as we had the away end - mates who had to go in there told us afterwards how it looked as both sides of the Holte ran at first.
We had heard Villa went in the away end like the bigger firms did at home, but not that day.
A coach load of our naughty boys went in a Villa pub in the Bullring and 3 Villa got stabbed.
Before the game we ran towards a mob of about 100 who turned out to be our fans from the Midlands, places like Tamworth - we all mingled to get into the Holte, so the local lads' accent fooled the old bill, but lots of us got turned back at the turnstiles.
As others have said, every firm has good and bad days, and that was not a good show from Villa.
I'm not a Manc but everyone has heard of the Cockney Reds who travelled from London to support Manure every week - the main firms had fans in every town in England, often some coming from Wales and Scotland for the fun, and that's why they took huge numbers away, swamping many stadiums especially those like Chelsea, Spurs and Manure who went into the old second division for a while, and local plod just never imagined what would hit them on a match day.

Villa Hardcore didn't appear until the 90's. Hardcore music was where they got their name. Rangers did take the Holte in the 70's but without resistance as they broke the doors down the night before and the old bill decided it was best to leave them there. No one else took the Holte but plenty tried. It was fucking huge and they could get in at the bottom without anyone realising but once they were spotted we would charge down on the in our hundreds and they stood no chance. I remember West Ham and Chelsea putting up a right good battle before sheer numbers forced the onto pitch.

As for poor old Fulham...lets take you back to 1982ish...they were playing Wimbledon at Craven Cottage...so what does a local Chelsea fan literally have to do? Yes i stood alone in the middle of the Hammersmith End...in my best Chelsea shirt...nothing!!!! not even a bad word...so after the game I walked back through Bishops Park and onto Putney Bridge, where i was confronted by about 20 lads...''we dont want Chelsea round here'' said one of them so i smacked him...probably a mistake as i then got my head kicked in...but got up and stood my ground to see them running off...I wasnt hard, probably stupid but tbh if thats all they had lol just 1 Chelsea fan against them all...Worst ever though I decided to go away with Cardiff to Swansea as it seemed like a good idea at the time...those were the days

These AI voiceovers are 4KN stupid. To be fair , anybody, on their day can turn out. Brentford had a small bunch in the 80's called the B Squad, if I remember rightly. AS a Stoke lad of some years, I know quite a few of these clubs can cause a ruck. Southampton's Youth Squad have some numbers. Arsenal could cause some damage back in the day, maybe not so much now. Villa also can get it on. Absolute bullsh*t post. Thanks to Russia.
