The fact that you made sure you got everything ready for your Great Aunt BEFORE you started to focus on buying enough loo roll etc says a lot about the life of a Carer and says a lot about you! We know you love her. And luvvie if you’re in your flat alone you don’t need to worry leggings you need nighties and knickers and one of those is optional!
I believe dear girl, that you have thought of everything. I will miss you so much while you are away and I'm already looking forward to your first video post op. You are so very precious to all of us here, please remember that and take that thought with you until we see what you do next. Hugs, waves, and a tear or two.
I KNEW you be organized about the surgery. I learned a few things about organizing, so thanks. I have a feeling that some of us will be leaving a few messages on your last video before surgery so that you can see our best wishes and know that we are thinking about you. Do not feel obliged to answer us or add a video until you are ready! I sew a lot and just started quilting so I'm looking forward to any of your sewing videos. About your Great Aunt...I made the mistake of pushing myself beyond my limits caring for my dying Mother and nearly melted down in the process. So never question your motives as being selfish. It's like the oxygen masks in a plane going down. Grab your oxygen first or you will be no good to anyone. You deserve great Grace and Blessings for your ultra-caring nature and I am so honored to know you.
Don't feel guilty at all about the ' break' from your aunt. This is one of the problems 'carers' have of letting go a little , the relief is normal because you have to for yourself. I'm sure you can keep in touch with her and the carers know to inform someone should anything change. It will do you good not to have the responsibility for a while even though you won't be able to help but worry obviously. You always think that other people can't look after your aunt as well as you can but gradually you will be able to relax more. Like everyone says you have to look after yourself also and you can't miss this opportunity to mend your legs! . I do wish you well, all will be fine , do keep in touch and don't worry!! xx
Ahhhhh Vivi you're going to be up a running in no time you've got exactly the right mind set for a Full and speedy recovery. Wishing all the best for you. Xx
IAm a old hippie lol 66 🇺🇸South Carolina Grandmother of 8 from 10 to 21 don’t know about garden this upcoming spring my health not the best. I live with one of my daughters They hand me off when I become to much the other takes over.. being old and sick is no walk in the park I do have my Faith that is what gets me through the lonely times My Girls try their best , they have busy lives with husband, kids, work and me Lol I pray the Good Lord will fix me up a bit so I can do a few pots of herds 👏
I've spent 36yrs caring for my Marfan son,he has had a dissecting A+aortic root in January on my father's funeral day,the hospital has said he now needs a elephant trunk and arch replacement,we have chosen to spend Christmas instead of being operated on now till January. My thoughts and best wishes are being sent your way, always love your videos in these dark days/months.You are a trooper my lady.
Ach, that's tough. I'm glad you can delay the surgery just a little so to have Christmas at home. Sending you masses of best wishes and hugs and love for the upcoming surgery........and thank you for sharing here......many folk will have never heard of Marfans. Huge hugs. X :-)
Good luck and speedy recovery on your surgery. Wish we could all just stand in line to help you but of course that's not possible for most of us. So we will be cheering you on. I love your vlogs and as usual can't wait for the next one. You are like a friend to me evven though we haven't met. We are celebrating our Thanksgiving today , and here in San Diego we are breaking record hot temperatures. It was in the high 90's today and I'm loving the hot weather, though it isn't that great for my fall/winter plantings. So take care Vivi, we are all here for you in this internet LALA land. Jerris
Congrats on the 100th video...The amount you do for your little 'gardening community' I am sure they won't mind doing a little for you... They seem such a lovely crowd. Your great aunt may just begin to appreciate all you do for her in your absence... May do her a little good... sometimes ( you know as well as I do) people you feel are very dependent are quite resilient and find ways of coping ... You couldn't do any more for her than you are already doing and have already done.... You are quite right to 'let go' ... You need to take care of yourself and get back to full health... 60 stairs! That is physio in itself... I am surprised your hospital doesn't have a pre op MDT session with the OT just to go through the access stuff, bath aids toilet rails , dressing aids on loan etc... Good job you are so switched on... Make yourself a 'wheat bag' too, as warmth is good as well as the peas and the bag moulds better than a hot water bottle. As regards the admission issue... that is appalling bearing in mind the 60 steps access to your home... Very best of luck ... Hope all goes really well... catch up with you on Facebook!
Congratulations on your 100th video Vivi. I have really enjoyed watching them. I hope everything goes well with your surgery and I will be thinking of you xx
Thank goodness for your practical nurses head, don't think I would have thought of toilet rolls and the like. Auntie Teapot is so lucky to have you, you've organised everything so she will be just fine. Concentrate on you now, and a quick recovery Vivi . Take care and stop fretting, you'll do just fine. Best wishes , Anne x
Congrats to Matthew and Sonia. Have a great op Vivi. It will be done before you know it and you will be back in the garden better then ever. This will be a well deserved winter rest for you .
Massive hugs and healing vibes your way Vivi! Time to let others help you and to let the healing begin! Take care dear lady and see you when you are back and healing! 😗💜😗💙😗💛😗💚
Congratulations on your centenary Vivi! Best wishes for the op, it sounds like you're very well prepared. With these dark nights, it may be helpful to make sure you've got lamps dotted around, so you don't need to be getting up and down to light switches. Also a bottle of water and painkillers by the bed...but I'm sure you've thought of stuff like that already. Take it easy, don't try to do too much, and we'll see you after the op. x
Here in Los Angeles, CA. this would be referred to as a very thorough "earthquake" kit. One can never have enough loo rolls (tp) in the cabinet and books and jigsaw puzzles on the shelf. The feeling of relief when you were on the train is completely understandable. Take the time to focus on yourself and heal and let others pick up the slack. You've earned it.
I love that you are extremely organised and have your lists. Where would we be without our lists??? Add Fairy liquid to the list and stock pile the tea bags. I hope the op goes well x
Vivi , sweetheart, you don't sound awful .If you don't take care of yourself. Then you can't really give your best to take care of someone else because you can't give away what you don't have. It's okay to feel relief too it's really okay .Remember you have a lot of people that love you some you haven't even met. Sending warm thoughts and comforting healing to you for physically emotionally and spiritually
Vivi, I did the same things you are doing when I had to go in for surgery. Getting everything all in order will really help you after the surgery. I completely understand about the sense of relief you had when you realized your care-taking was taking a break. I think anyone who has or is care-taking has felt that way. I hope all goes well and look forward to your updates.
Good luck Vivi, I do hope it all goes well. I also used frozen peas when I had my knee cartilage 'tidied up' - they work really well :) Congratulations on reaching your 100th video, I have really enjoyed following the story of What Vivi Did Next and look forward to the post Op updates. Take care x
Thank you Christine. Debra suggested I get 2 packs of peas so that there's always one frozen......brilliant idea. I hope your knee is much better for the work........ :-)
I spent years as a caregiver to my young adult son while dealing with my own health issues. The emotions and inner struggles are complex. Unless you have walked that path, it’s difficult to understand. It helps just to share with others who understand. It doesn’t mean we love our loved one any less.
Sounds like you're well prepared! Best of luck with the surgery...hope everything goes smoothly and you heal quickly. And congrats on 100 videos! Soon you'll have 4K subscribers as well. :)
I will be thinking of you and praying for you, Vivi. You have gone above and beyond for so many people, and there is no blame in making sure you are fit and capable to carry on. Love from Australia,
CONGRATS on 100 videos seems like more since I first saw you in Sean's videos. you sheer joy in surveying your world shines through - you can make me laugh or smile even when I am grumpy as hell. Take care of yourself during the recovery period.
Congratulations on your 100th video! It feels like I’ve been watching and cheering with your for so much longer, from seeing you on Sean’s videos. It’s such a great accomplishment! Try not to worry about your aunt, she will be ok and the reunion when you are able to go and see her will be so sweet. Just look after yourself, that’s what’s important right now. Also, stock up on dry shampoo it’s an absolute life saver when you can’t wash your hair. I’ve been bed ridden with the pregnancy (due April) and dry shampoo can make you feel and look so much better!
Congratulations of 100 videos! In terms of pre-op prep, if you haven't already thought of it get one of those extender hand gripper things. I had one when I had a back operation and it was incredibly helpful while my mobility was restricted; I didn't have to ask for help to pick things up or to put on socks!
Well now firstly a huge well done on the one hundred - it's been a privilege to be able to follow your journey. But secondly - good luck!! Just imagine the relief of having it all over and done with and - all things crossed - pain free! I'm on my old lonesome this weekend but have spoilt myself by lighting the fire and a few candles, getting the christmas cake in the oven (smells divine - think I might be getting a bit tipsy on the rum fumes!), breaking open the Christmas jigsaw and catching up on your last few videos. A perfect evening (perhaps topped off with a snifter or two before bed!) Keep smiling and see you soon xx
Sending hugs prayers and healing thoughts your way. Again i wish i Lived close by to help out. I was incredibly fortunate when i broke my ankle as so many friends pitched in and helped. Be sure to ask everyone and let them be blessed by helping you. I think asking was the most difficult thing for me. I am so used to taking care of me all by myself.
CONGRATULATIONS VIVI! 100 NOT OUT! I’m exhausted listening to your plans. I’d just turn up without thinking of anything. 😒 I doubt surgery will stop you in your tracks for long girl. Good luck. We’ll all be thinking about you. Look forward to your return. Sending lots of love your way. You’re a wonder! 💋💋💋
Hi, I have been enjoying your videos since you started. CONGRATULATIINS on your 100th video! I too am a nurse who loves to garden. I love your enthusiasm and your very tidy garden. I miss gardening in the winter and so this year I am trying my luck with growing microgreens. While you are off work I think you might enjoy looking up information about these as they are so fresh and tender and are highly nutritious. Good luck with your surgery. YOU WILL DO JUST FINE!!
Dearest Vivi, thank you so much for your videos, I look forward to each and every one. They make me feel so much better when I'm struggling with my moods. It's lovely to listen to you and come along on this journey with you. Definitely going to crack on with more gardening next year too (knees permitting , seeing physio at the moment) Thank you thank you. Best of luck for your op and I'm looking forward to your next video.
Thank you so much Annette. I do hope physio will help you......it's quite a commitment but I find the more I do it the stronger I feel.........good luck! X :-)
That sence of relief that you felt is totally normal. I also felt it when both of my adoptive parents died. They were both in quite rough shape before they died, my mother from a combination of Alzheimers and cancer and my father from advanced age and a series of strokes. Both were not in a happy place and , even though it hurt a lot to see them go, they are in a happier place now and it was a great relief to me. You don't realise how much stress and strain there is on you being the carer for smeone till you are released , even temporarily. She will be fine and you can now just concentrate on being Vivi. Good luck.
Hi Vivi, hope everything goes to plan with the op, sending healing vibes. Rest up, you do so much for others I'm sure you will have plenty of support. I love your videos and enthusiasm for the veggies! Thanks for 100 of them. Take care, Amanda 😘
Dearest, kindest Vivi, how unfortunate most of your fans live too far away to be of any practical support to you! Sending so much love your way for a fast recovery. Hugs. Suzanne
Congratulations on the 100 Vivi. Look forward to lots more : ) It's time to look after you now but it's hard when you have a caring nature. I've been carer for my daughter who has had ME for a very long time, and my dad (stroke)and working as a nurse. Now my neighbour's grandaughter is in need... And yes you do feel overwhelmed and sometimes just want to run away...this break will do you good. Is there no one else who can go and see auntie teapot and take over for a bit? If you want to watch some permaculture videos whilst you're laid up Geoff Lawton is pretty amazing, especially "Greening the Desert." Good luck with the surgery everyone will be thinking of you. Lots of love Angela XXX
Absolute best of luck with your op, I'm sure all will be well and you'll be running around with wheelbarrows before you know it! Take care and look forward to seeing you soon xxx
You definitely are the List Queen Vivi! It's the best way to be! I hope you heal fast and maybe sis might be able to stay an extra day? I'm always goofy for a couple of days after being knocked out. I can't shake the anesthesia very quick. Be well, thoughts are with you!
I know what you mean about your Aunty, the carers will do a good job but you go the extra mile and all the little things. Before my dear mum passed away and even though she had carers, (who were great) I never felt that I could allow myself to be ill even when I had ear ops. By the time I had to have my 3rd ear op my mum had passed away, the sense of relief of not having my mum to worry about was great, I could allow my body to heal in its own time. All the best for your op Vivi take care!!!
Those of us who are obsessive compulsive planners can smile and relate to your lists and guide girl actions. As regards your great aunt, loving caregivers need a break and it does not mean they are selfish or unfeeling. If you have had to care for family with dementia, Alzheimer's or deteriorating neurologic conditions you know that if respite isn't given the caregiver they will end up totally decompensating after several months of unbroken care. As to living alone and having major medical processes, cardiac surgery, repeated carotid surgeries, broken ribs, broken elbow, chain saw injury to leg and another to face, a person learns to set up their bathroom - kitchen - bedroom to make self care possible. I can tell you are a tough bird based on the fact you have pursued such a physical occupation as gardening and have a walk up apparent 3rd floor flat but yet have knees pretty much ground out yet do not complain or let on your physical discomfort. I will keep you and your Aunt in my prayers. The somewhat odd thing is so many subs know so much about you that you are like a close friend yet you would never know us in a crowd. The internet has made for strange friend groupings, the new version I guess of pen pals we had in the 1950s and 60s.
Wow, you've had to deal with some pretty serious stuff!.......the chain saw bit makes me particularly queezy......if you can deal with all that my little knee fiddle will be a walk in the park! I love the idea that this is the modern version of pen pals......the only disappointment is that we don't get fantastic/strange stamps to peel off envelopes and put in our albums! Yes, I did that. ;-)
I found that a toilet raiser was so much easier and less painful to get on and off the loo. I used a walker for the first 2 weeks and now I am using a cane. be careful and slow but sure.
100 videos! So cool 👍. Good luck with surgery. Sounds like you have everything taken care of. But 60 stairs! OMG! Just a hint but if you have trouble going up and down so many just sit and scooch. My daughter had a broken leg and had a lot of stairs to do so that helped when she needed. Glad you have some people to help. If could I’d hop on a plane and come over. 😁
Good luck Vivi. don't overdo it before your op. Don't forget chemists deliver prescriptions and will provide weekly refilled dosette boxes for meds. Do ask the carers to wash Aunty T's hair once a week. xxx
Really enjoyed your 100th video and you sharing your thoughts on the surgery, etc. Hope all goes well & you are on the allotment again soon. Take care of yourself for a while now.
Living alone and having been seriously ill for a period of time I would say you have the bases all covered. I still keep at least 1 month supply of everything on hand in case of relapse. A suggestion for the bath...have your carpentry buddy Graham build you a seat that fits across the tub...a piece of plywood with cleats on both sides to fit over the sides of your tub...assuming your tub is free standing. Drill holes in the seat part so water can drain into the tub. You can get in and out of the tub safely by putting your butt on the edge of the tub and swinging one leg at a time into the tub, then use your hands to switch yourself onto the seat. You are never actually standing while you get onto the seat and with a hand held shower bathing is easy. Alleviates the sponge bath scenario.
Vivi I know it's rough on you and your auntie but you need to care for yourself before you can be the best vivi there is. If you neglect yourself then she won't have your strength to lean on. You can call, and send her mail to help her not be do lonely. Hugs to you my dear!
Yay Congratulations on 100 videos I started watching you just before getting my allotment in march, you are my favorite person to watch on TH-cam and really really helping me on how to store my produce, good luck with the opp
We use long thin towels here to wash. Like long flannels. This mean you can wash you back and everywhere we only have thick spongey towels for the odd guest. The flannels are easy to rinse and wash and much less drying time. I’ve learned a lot of useful things in J. You might need to have your leg up on a pillow so getting around or reaching might be tough but the crutches are really useful. Do you have a sturdy walking stick? Useful to lean on. I’m glad your sister will be with you as you definitely need a fit person to sort out stuff for you. You look really fit in this video that’s going to help. But those flights of stairs? I’m looking forward to hearing how you manage this big puzzle because that is what it is and you are a girl guide with a gold star.
Vivi my daughter takes care of me and I make her take time off for a week each year so she can have time for herself .so dont feel bad about it God does things for a reason so I guess he has had to do this so you would take some time off . Love your videos keep up the good work and please do what the Doctors tell you and take care of your self ! wish I was close to you so I could help . love you !
good luck with your op vivi.i would be chilling with a colouring book or doing some book folding or making some Xmas cards and wreaths.im not too good with sewing lol xx
Oh Wow Vivi 100 videos...congrats! I'm so glad you got Aunt Teapot sorted. I'm sure that's a big bag of emotions when thinking of her. She loves her Vivi. How could anyone not love you? What a gem you are. Listen here Vivi ..you take care of yourself. I'll keep you in my prayers. Everything's going to be fine. I think you have all of your ducks in a row( you're prepared) just don't overthink to much. You'll drive yourself crazy..lol. Maybe if you're bored one day you can go live and chat. Just a thought. Take care sweet friend! ✌🏼️❤️& a speedy recovery
Hahahahaha - I fear the boredom more than anything........I have a feeling the camera will be back in my hand before I've even left the hospital! Hahahaha. :-)
TK said it all really. I'm full of admiration for you and your grit, determination and bravery:) You have done exactly what I would do in similar circumstances! One thing does worry me though, how will you access your cottage in the sky on your return from hospital? Really looking forward to seeing and hearing from you in a few days: keeping toes and fingers crossed for you. Good luck and I'm sure all will be plain sailing and your future mobility will be transformed. xxx
Hi Vivi, congratulations on 100 videos👍🏼. That’s really impressive. Don’t feel bad about your great aunt it sounds as if she’ll be fine with everything you have put in place. I know from Facebook that you’ve now successfully had the op so sending you healing vibes. Now take it easy and allow your friends to help you out if you need anything. Take care. Nick
Congrats on 100! :) Thank you for sharing your feelings about the "relief" you feel about care taking. You are a beautiful person! I hope someone will be offering care for you while you heal. Hugs!!
This is my first time seeing this video and it warms my heart. So many helpful tips. This video reminded me of the numerous times my friend was in hospital over the years. Good friends are hard to find.
Congratulations on the 100 videos Vivi - they are a highlight in my week! Through our cold winter months I have so enjoyed your summer garden. Now it is summer in New Zealand so I am the busy one. All the best for the op send thoughts and prayers your way. Desiree xx
Love your videos, and love that they're in the Lewisham area where I spent my teens! (And I still do Girlguiding in Kidbrooke nearby). Your allotment is beautiful and a true inspiration. Definitely going to copy your curtains over Christmas 🎄 Wishing you all the very best with your operation and hope you have a speedy recovery 💚
Hiya Vivian 🙋 ❤️ Long time no comment lol 😬 but health.hospital etc has been getting in the way (found large cyst on bowel but hopefully it’s all been taken away, off to the lab now), it’s on a video, just wondering what else I’m going to get ha ha but onwards and upwards. You will be fine after your op I’m sure and your your usual organised self has made sure everything is ticked 👌. You will have loads of visits from friends and when re couping I’m sure a wee spot of sewing plus reading will keep your spirits up. That’s an awful lot of steps from your flat to front door, without an op lol... Bon Chance.....Vivi. Hugs 💐💐💐
Kudos, Vivi 👍. Your practicality and preparation is admirable as always. What a star 🌟 Congratulations on the 100th lovely video and please know that you are much thought of and will be more so during the upcoming surgery and post operative period. Everyone will be with you in spirit and sending so much love and good vibes 💖 Warm hugs 🤗

Hahahahahahahahahahha! Brilliant. Thank you. :-)
Let me guess, the knickers, Right? haha
I believe dear girl, that you have thought of everything. I will miss you so much while you are away and I'm already looking forward to your first video post op. You are so very precious to all of us here, please remember that and take that thought with you until we see what you do next. Hugs, waves, and a tear or two.
Hahaha - I won't be away for long - I'll be boring you all again as soon as I can pic up the camera! ;-)
Good luck on your surgery, Vivi. And speedy recovery. Shall miss your videos as they have a soothing effect on me after a long day at work. :o)
I won't be gone for long. ;-)

Congrats and good luck with the operation !! And yes to a tour of your books please and sewing videos. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Thank you Vicky. :-)
Good luck Vivi I am sure it will all run smoothly and be perfect. My OP that I had recently went great so no reason why yours shouldn't. Get well soon
Cheers chuck! :-)

Katherine B funny bc I grew up in Florida so it was hurricane supplies.
I would rather go a couple of days without food than a couple of hours without loo paper! ;-)

Thank you so much Jan. :-)
Thank you so much. :-)
Good luck Vivi, I do hope it all goes well. I also used frozen peas when I had my knee cartilage 'tidied up' - they work really well :)
Congratulations on reaching your 100th video, I have really enjoyed following the story of What Vivi Did Next and look forward to the post Op updates.
Sharing is so important..........I hear you. Thank you.....and take care of yourself. X
Sounds like you're well prepared! Best of luck with the surgery...hope everything goes smoothly and you heal quickly. And congrats on 100 videos! Soon you'll have 4K subscribers as well. :)
Thank you lovely! :-)
I will be thinking of you and praying for you, Vivi. You have gone above and beyond for so many people, and there is no blame in making sure you are fit and capable to carry on. Love from Australia,
Thank you so much. :-) X
Hello Vivi Thank you for the 100 videos i am looking forward to the next 100 , Big hugs cant wait to see you back home safe and sound xx
Cheers Bob! :-)
CONGRATS on 100 videos seems like more since I first saw you in Sean's videos. you sheer joy in surveying your world shines through - you can make me laugh or smile even when I am grumpy as hell. Take care of yourself during the recovery period.
Awwwww.......thank you so much Janet. :-)
Welcome to the world Leo, and huge congratulations to Matthew and Sonja. Wishing you all the very very best. ❤️
Soooooo exciting! :-)
Praying for you that surgery and recovery go well. Sounds like you have your ducks in a row. Take care and congrats on your 100th video!!
Thank you lovely. :-)
Good idea. Gosh, I hope you're doing ok....and bubba too.....keep us posted! :-)
Congratulations of 100 videos! In terms of pre-op prep, if you haven't already thought of it get one of those extender hand gripper things. I had one when I had a back operation and it was incredibly helpful while my mobility was restricted; I didn't have to ask for help to pick things up or to put on socks!
I should have borrowed one of my great aunt's! :-)
Good luck with surgery Vivi.....your gonna ACE this!
Cheers lovely. :-)
Oooooh, that sounds like my kinda evening.......enjoy it lovely. :-)
Gosh Vivi you are so organised, you will be in our thoughts and our prayers til we see you again, be good xx
I'll try! ;-)
Sending hugs prayers and healing thoughts your way. Again i wish i
Lived close by to help out. I was incredibly fortunate when i broke my ankle as so many friends pitched in and helped. Be sure to ask everyone and let them be blessed by helping you. I think asking was the most difficult thing for me. I am so used to taking care of me all by myself.
I find asking really difficult too.....but sometimes eh?..... Thank you. :-)
Wow! You are great! So many things you have done for preparation! Take care Vivi! Can't wait to see you again after surgery. Wish you all the best,
Thank you Andrea. :-)
CONGRATULATIONS VIVI! 100 NOT OUT!
I’m exhausted listening to your plans. I’d just turn up without thinking of anything. 😒
I doubt surgery will stop you in your tracks for long girl. Good luck. We’ll all be thinking about you. Look forward to your return.
Sending lots of love your way. You’re a wonder! 💋💋💋
Thank you so much! I'm sure I will have forgotten something but hey, it'll keep things interesting! Hahahaha. :-)
I grow microgreens on my windowsills in winter - great minds think alike! ;-)
Good luck.
Thank you for your wise words Rob. :-)
Vivi ,,, 💘 you are a amazing niece 💘 I Pray you heal fast after your surgery... 💘
God Bless you 💘
My Beautiful Friend 💘
Thank you so much. :-)
Hi Vivi, hope everything goes to plan with the op, sending healing vibes. Rest up, you do so much for others I'm sure you will have plenty of support. I love your videos and enthusiasm for the veggies! Thanks for 100 of them. Take care, Amanda 😘
Awwwww........thank you! :-)
Dearest, kindest Vivi, how unfortunate most of your fans live too far away to be of any practical support to you! Sending so much love your way for a fast recovery. Hugs. Suzanne
Thank you lovely! :-)
Awww you just brought a tear to my eye. You are such a happy lovely caring person. Wishing you all the best for your op & recovery.
Thank you so much. :-)
Good luck Vivi! See you back here once you're up to it! X
Thank you! :-)
Congratulations on the 100 Vivi. Look forward to lots more : )
It's time to look after you now but it's hard when you have a caring nature.
If you want to watch some permaculture videos whilst you're laid up Geoff Lawton is pretty amazing, especially "Greening the Desert."
Good luck with the surgery everyone will be thinking of you. Lots of love Angela XXX
Gosh, you have your hands full.........I hope you get some breaks from time to time......and you look after yourself! Take care. :-)
Absolute best of luck with your op, I'm sure all will be well and you'll be running around with wheelbarrows before you know it! Take care and look forward to seeing you soon xxx
Hahahaha - a wheelbarrow race in the spring! ;-)
You are so wise!! I suggest you buy two bags of peas so one is always frozen 😊
Genius! Thank you. :-)
100 video's that's amazing! Hope all goes well with the operation. Can't wait to see your next video😊
Cheers. Won't be long. ;-)
Congregations on 100 videos Vivi. Super job. Very very good luck with your op. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Huggles x
That's congratulations not congregation lol
Hsahahaha - I quite like congregations! ;-)
You definitely are the List Queen Vivi! It's the best way to be! I hope you heal fast and maybe sis might be able to stay an extra day? I'm always goofy for a couple of days after being knocked out. I can't shake the anesthesia very quick. Be well, thoughts are with you!
Thank you Chris! :-)
Ach, Maggs, that's tough. I hope your ear problems are all sorted now. Take care. :-)
I'm so glad to hear you are progressing well.......baby steps and all that. Take care lovely. :-)
100 videos! 😁
I am so going to be doing the stairs backwards on my bum! ;-)
Good luck Vivi. don't overdo it before your op. Don't forget chemists deliver prescriptions and will provide weekly refilled dosette boxes for meds. Do ask the carers to wash Aunty T's hair once a week. xxx
Cheers Sarah. :-)
speedy recovery vivi and well done on 100 videos ,will miss you xxxx
Cheers! :-)
All the best, I’m pretty sure that given your excellent organisational skills and upbeat attitude that all will go well.
Cheers! :-)
All the best with op.... Speedy recovery
Cheers. :-)
Really enjoyed your 100th video and you sharing your thoughts on the surgery, etc. Hope all goes well & you are on the allotment again soon. Take care of yourself for a while now.
Thank you Mary.........I really hope I'll be up to visiting the garden on Christmas day to gather some veggies..... :-)
Good luck and God bless you Vivi❤⚘
Thank you. :-)
I hope you are much better now Carol.......that must have been a very hard time for you. Sending hugs. :-)
please dont stop....fantastic
I hope not! :-)
Happy Vivividiversary! Keep them coming
Hahahaha - cheers! :-)
Take care Thanks for sharing your journey and thoughts
Cheers! :-)
ill be thinking of you all the best for your op
Thanks lovely. :-)
Vivi I know it's rough on you and your auntie but you need to care for yourself before you can be the best vivi there is. If you neglect yourself then she won't have your strength to lean on. You can call, and send her mail to help her not be do lonely. Hugs to you my dear!
You're so right. Thank you. :-)
Yay Congratulations on 100 videos I started watching you just before getting my allotment in march, you are my favorite person to watch on TH-cam and really really helping me on how to store my produce, good luck with the opp
Yay- that's so great to hear. Having had your plot for a year now I bet you can't wait to get stuck into the plan for next year! Have fun! :-)
I sincerely hope everything goes alright, and you get well soon.
Thank you! :-)
Good luck! See you after your surgery!
Cheers lovely. :-)
Hahahahaha - I'll have to come up all the stairs backwards on my bottom! ;-)
good luck with your op . hope all goes well. with love. Sue x
Thank you Sue. :-)
Vivi my daughter takes care of me and I make her take time off for a week each year so she can have time for herself .so dont feel bad about it God does things for a reason so I guess he has had to do this so you would take some time off . Thank you. :-)
Hahahaha. :-)
What Vivi did next I hope so!
Vivi, i will be thinking of you and sending you blesssings of light and love.
your gonna be fine Vivi...love you lots xxx
Awwww.......thank you so much lovely. :-)
Best of luck with your op vivi quick recovery
Thank you. :-)
Best wishes for the op and thank for your time and blessings Vivi
Thanks lovely. :-)
well done it will soon be your 1,000,000
Hahahahahaha! ;-)
Good luck and I'm sure all will be plain sailing and your future mobility will be transformed. xxx
I'll have to come up all the stairs backwards on my bum! ;-)
Oooh, sounds like really hard work. How about using one crutch and your 'good' leg if your friend will stay with you while you get upstairs?
Unfortunately my right leg which will be my 'good' leg after surgery is less stable than my left leg......but it's ok....I have a strong bottom! ;-)
Oh, lordy, lordy. Thank goodness for those glutes!! NB I sent you a message on your facebook page about an advent calender: interested?
Hi Vivi, congratulations on 100 videos👍🏼. That’s really impressive. Don’t feel bad about your great aunt it sounds as if she’ll be fine with everything you have put in place. I know from Facebook that you’ve now successfully had the op so sending you healing vibes. Now take it easy and allow your friends to help you out if you need anything. Take care. Nick
Thanks so much Nick. Let the healing (and boredom!) begin. :-)
I don't bad for feeling relieved. We all totally understand!
Ach, thank you. :-)
Wow feels like last week you were starting this channel well done vivi
I just don't know where the time has gone! :-)
Congrats on 100! :) Thank you for sharing your feelings about the "relief" you feel about care taking. You are a beautiful person! I hope someone will be offering care for you while you heal. Hugs!!
Awww.......thank you so much. :-)
This is my first time seeing this video and it warms my heart. So many helpful tips. This video reminded me of the numerous times my friend was in hospital over the years. Good friends are hard to find.
They really are.......but when we find them don't they make us feel wonderful. :-)
Sorry forgot... Well done for the 100 and good luck for your op. Thinking of you.❤🍀
Thank you lovely. :-)
Congratulations on the 100 videos Vivi - they are a highlight in my week! Through our cold winter months I have so enjoyed your summer garden. Now it is summer in New Zealand so I am the busy one. All the best for the op send thoughts and prayers your way. Desiree xx
Ooooooooh, summer time for you! Yay!!!!! Enjoy the heat, the insects, the quiet, the bounty........! :-)
Love your videos, and love that they're in the Lewisham area where I spent my teens!
(And I still do Girlguiding in Kidbrooke nearby). Your allotment is beautiful and a true inspiration. Definitely going to copy your curtains over Christmas 🎄
Wishing you all the very best with your operation and hope you have a speedy recovery 💚
Cheers lovely. Have fun making your curtains. :-)
What a star 🌟
Congratulations on the 100th lovely video and please know that you are much thought of and will be more so during the upcoming surgery and post operative period.
Everyone will be with you in spirit and sending so much love and good vibes 💖 Warm hugs 🤗
Clarice I'm keeping everything crossed for you for a good lab result. Take care lovely. X
Best wishes, Vivi.
Thank you. :-)
Congrads on 100 videos!
Thank you. :-)
