Awesome work man! I need to do some carpet on my 76. I’m gonna do a radio box in the back, I’m gonna convert an old luggage from the 70s. speakers and a Bluetooth receiver in it.
Thank you!!! If you have the money I definitely recommend just getting a cheap carpet kit for a 76. And that will be awesome made a sub/speaker box for the 64 but luggage would be awesome!!!
What I like to do on my beetles regarding fuel lines and dropping the chance of it catching fire to almost zero is install an 6mm (1/4") copper line from the nipple that goes to the engine at the rear all.the way directly to the gas pump, and then from the gas pump to the carburetor. Rubber fuel line is only used to join the copper line to the joints at the fuel line nipple, gas pump and carburetor. This makes leak detection a lot easier, because whenever the car smells like gas, you will know exactly where to look at and find which of the little hose joints is leaking. I also use fuel injection-style hose clamps that actually clamp and not bite into the hose like the cheap clamps do. Oh! And the fuel filter looks nice and it's pretty convenient there, but it actually goes between the tank and the line that goes to the back. The fuel pump must be gravity fed, as its suction power is not too good. And removing the filter from there reduces the chances of a fire
While working on my Ghia I got tired of working on the floor. I bought a $35 table with metal legs composite top from Amazon. Nice enough to put in your house but I use it in the garage. Don’t hurt my knees and back now. About 18” by 36” and light weight.
You doing a great job just wanted to let you know that it is not a Mexican blanket they're called native rugs they also use them for their horses before you put a saddle on the horse

Loving this build. Great work!
Thank you!!!!
That looks fantastic! Nice Job. I need to find some stock replacements for my '72.
Thank you!! Definitely a cheap alternative with a great outcome. For our 60 I think we oem spec out everything from wolfsburg or j bugs.
Great video thank you. Gives me ideas for a neglected Caddy SRX that I picked up as a project
O heck yeah that would be awesome!
Good work dude.
Thanks youuu
