I’ve got the self inflating 5cm mattress for our kids. They never complain in the pop top. I can pop the pop top down without deflating the mattress. One of my best buys since owning my van.
Push button shower taps.......... tie a sock round it! Just saying
I stayed here last weekend. Met Chris and his dog Cooper. What a top guy he is. Had some lovely chats with him and he was so kind and funny playing with my children winding them up a bit. Haha!
Have you tried the drill in pegs? If you forget the drill you can bang them in anyway 😊
I tried one of those thin mattresses but it was useless for me. I e just bought an Outdoor Revolution Camo Star King one....made for our vans. 100cms thick and 112cms wide, same as our beds. It's damn nice.

I have watched everyone of your videos and you keep on making me like you. I go to the Lakes many times a year and this time one of my regular haunts, The Queens Head, and mention of one of my favourite beers too, Loweswater Gold!
Hi Colin, we use the hard plastic box the gas stove sits in standing upright and it keeps the wind out 🙌 your welcome 😊

Col, Why did you use a gas single cooker (flames blow out) and not your induction hob??? Also, Amazon do the push-button shower holders. Ok, £13 but a game-changer.
Ages ago we bought LOADS of the gas canisters for those burners so it's kind of my Yorkshire man saying "use them they cost you money" 😂😂!
I'll be using the induction hob too (mainly) once the burners run out of gas ;)

Any chance you could find out if sites are happy for people to camp in their cars? Met loads of people like us who do and it would be nice to find new places to go. My zafira is more comfortable than my bed at home
