I think it had something to do with some of the vehicles was just a copy paste from previous game, including the engine sound. Also, some engine sounds got mixed up, like how a F1 car sound like a Muscle Car.
Quite a bunch of these 36 cars come from Revenge or 3 Takedown and not much are new cars : only the Classics, Factory Sports, Factory Muscle, American Drifter, Tuned Sports, Tuned Muscle, Tuned Drifter, all Supers except from the Works GT and All Dominators except from the GT racer are new
0:20 That car looks like a Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1970 because of the design front and the body. 8:41 The low rider looks like the Plymouth roadrunner 1970 from Tokyo drift because have a similar body design.

I like how the Works GT still has its Revenge engine sound I believe so does the Factory GT can’t recall tho since it’s be years since I last played Dominator.
I used to fail multiple times in the challenge to get the GT Racer it was so insanely tough to handle and the. The collisions were near unavoidable at such high speeds it used to get fustrating
Either ppsspp which is a psp emulator. Or pcsx2 a ps2 emulator. If you have a monster powerful pc I recommend pcsx2. But if not then ppsspp is your only way.

They should have kept some engine sounds they used in the cars cinematics when the objectives to unlock it are shown. But otherwise, that's a great video!
There were some good engine sounds (mostly V8s) but it's strange to think that NFS MW had superior car sounds which still sound great imo. And it's another racer from EA
I dont think the cars dont look bad at all and yes it does lack crash mode but for those who didn't know this game was suppose to have crash junctions along with signature takedowns and I think even pursuit... it was suppose to be the whole shebang but unfortunately it was scrapped in late development, changing subjects for a second, I'm sure we can all agree that the tracks in this game are adrenaline inducing lol, my favorite burnout game
Now i see that some people think this game is bad and i think i kinda know why - The new cars were not that memorable such as the tracks - Ost in revenge and 3 was better -for some reason this did not look that good as revenge -No crashing events Apart from that, it was probably my least favorite between 3 and revenge, but it wasnt a bad game, i actually liked the signature shortcurts and the Burnout turbo feature, it was a good, but it could be better
Likely didn't look as good due to being designed for PSP most likely. I imagine they put it on PS2 though given the success of the Burnout games on there.
@@cattycyoutube Well there's some really great ideas here, I think if you took most of these and simply reworked the proportions a bit you could get them looking really good! Compared to the car designs from Revenge, which were noticeably more refined and had more realistic proportions, the ones made for this game look more cartoony and exaggerated, with less polish and detail. If you just made the lights and wheels smaller for most of these that would be enough to help a lot lol.
Omfg Criterion games fucking ruined the Limited St’s engine sound in Dominator how did I forget that? Cuz in Revenge Limited St’s engine almost sounded exactly like the Toyota MR2 what the Limited St mostly based off of but loosely only noticeable MR2 Similarities of the Limited St being the engine cover in the back and the Spoiler to an extent.
