Thanks this video really helped. I wanted to ask that only hourly timers can be set for this? If I want to set the time for 30mins, is that an option for this system?
My unit comes on for no reason on a saturday and sunday night in "fan" mode. I have not set any 7 day timers and when I go through each day there are none set. What could be causing this?
How do I reset the unit?

Great video. We have the same controller in the video. I have set up a 7 day timer (not simple timer) to turn on and off each day. This is working fine at the moment.
I cannot see how to disable the 7day timer without loosing all the settings. Eg if I am away for a couple days I dont want it turning on and off. I want to disable the timer and then turn it back on when I am back. The manual just explains how to clear the timer rather than just disable it temporarily.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi, not sure if you’re able to help. Our aircon System turns on itself every midnight on Sunday. We’ve tried to cancel it but can’t seem to figure it out. Any help would be great! We’ve tried everything!
Hi Kristina, thanks for your comment. If this tutorial doesn't help, it may be necessary to speak with Daikin's technical support. They can be contacted on 1300 362 438 (Option 1). Note you will need to provide your model number and serial number. Let them know you have a BRC24Z8 Zone controller (yours might be a slightly different model number controller however the field settings are the same.)
Mine is doing the same the wife tried to set it to come on in the mornings but it's been coming on in the middle of the night not cold just the fan and in this heat your waking up feeling like a mouthful of sand. We are having to turn it off at the power box.
Think I worked it out.
Looks like the on and off times need to be set to 0000 on both programmes 1&2 for each day.
