Very honored to bring back Mr. Rajiv Malhotra on The Ranveer Show. He is one of the best conversationalists we've had on the podcast. He is a renowned computer scientist, who has spent the last 50 years in the U.S.A., studying & researching topics like AI, Computers, Geo-Politics, & Ancient Indian Scriptures. He is also an Indian-American activist, author, and speaker who raises voices on issues for the nation. His recent book: "Snakes in the Ganga" link: bit.ly/3JOkIjI
We speak about some of the most fascinating topics that I always wanted to bring to the show. From topics like Artificial Intelligence, Indian politics, Geopolitics, & Future Technologies, this one is an extremely intense conversation. Many more episodes to come with this man.
What is the war between China & The USA? Caste differences and social theories in India, Left-Wing Vs. Right-Wing, Modi Government's future challenges. All this and more in this very special episode of The Ranveer Show. Hope you like it :)

Thats the same concern, i am having for some time. For now it is good for us to give at least a middle income lifestyle to our population, and lift as much people from poverty as we can. We are known to be problem solvers, and do things efficiently with minimal resources and funds, we do this in our daily lives. I am positive that we will start creating our own technology, very soon. It has already started with things like, UPI, BharOS, Navic, and defense equipments.

People have tremendous ideas and brains .. but difficult to find funds and sometime support guidance . Even if something exists .. it should to accessible.
Scholarship mil gaya this Badi Baat ho gaya.. . Was the normal till now and we need more than that ..

Completely nailed it, I'm surprised few people talk about these things, India under Modi has taken steps to change this, Atmanirbhar India is a start, we're at least 20 years behind China, I'm afraid the Runway might fall short (especially with AI coming into the picture), Australian strategic institute released, the status of 44 Critical technologies and it's the risk of monopolisation, India ranks behind China and US, into 3rd position, while we are very far behind but not completely out of the picture, key aspects which Mr Rajiv mentioned
    1. Body shopping companies in India ought to reinvest in the Indian dream and not think about themselves alone, Govt shall do something about it.
    2. India is far behind China and US in critical technologies and it's a security risk, economic risk
    3. Most importantly democracy is not the right system for undeveloped countries as big and diverse as India as it's fundamentally divisive rather than cohesive, we allow too many external and internal forces to even coexist as a country, and this has to stop.
Judging by how things are going despite the best attempts by the Modi govt, we may have fallen too far behind, we state that our strength is population, but as a matter of fact, our youth is busy in TikTok and Facebook and collecting subsidies from the Govt for existing, the victim mentality and discriminatory modes of social function (reservation) is taking a toll (brain drain) which might just become our kryptonite, this might just be impossible to recover from, we already missed the bus of globalisation, if we miss the bus of China+1 and the age of AI, then we're done, our own aged population who wasted their youth because of the poor systems and standards India had will ultimately become a burden in the next 20 years.

  • @abhishekkharbanda8147
    @abhishekkharbanda8147 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Man this is real stuff....unless we "own" the technology ourselves we cannot be actual leader , we will be just a little more rich worker...At top I think govt needs to intervene and build a infrastructure of incentivization for citizens to do this.. i mean all this is possible with right risk/reward programe ...when when some US VC offer money to indian startup they just take it thinking they will be rich individually ... i think GOVT should not let that happen or rather have a stake in all the major startup's or let indian VC buy those startup at much cheaper valuation .. i mean Indian money/technology should be offered to Indian VC/indutrialist first before been sold to these US VC's...

Agree with most things he said !
    But not about democracy,
Democracy is the pinnacle of human civilization,
The challenge is to do it democratically ,
Economic welfare without freedom looks good only on the surface,
Ultimately happiness is a combination of economic welfare, democracy, freedom liberty .
That's why the majority of the world doesn't want to immigrate to China ,
West is still attractive because of democracy and freedom

He makes some good valid points on some crucial topics! But should... would..... and could is not going to solve this problem! Curb the bloody corruption and tell the Govt to focus more on such problems to set an example instead of fueling politics and religious hatred among the masses with the taxes that are collected from the hardworking middle class!

I use Mapples map instead of Google maps, yes it works many times better than Google. Mapples is 100% depend on India own geo location satellite, much much accurate location than any other map tool in market

Democracy , frequent elections, vote bank politics , appeasement for the sake of votes , multiparty system , each of these factors pull-down the economy . Reservation based on casteis another factor . If education and employment are free , accessible to all , affordable , enough room for research and development , overall a determination to reach great heights not only in monetary terms but also qualitative standards . I wish all this for our India to shine and succeed in future

Even though I agree with what is said, I believe it's the start. Once our user base is set we can influence policies of these foreign companies. Building our own technologies and products comes next.
Pehle banda khud ka bank account set karega then he'll start working on the future, which in my opinion is natural.

    Right Well said.
One more thing, I want to let the channel owner know that this types of videos is too watched by foreigners who wanted to know what is going on & it's for various reasons. As today, the info can be leaked from within the walls & with the help of which its effect can be seen on country economy, politically misusing, spreading hatred and terrorism, virtual life, etc . A safe reliable community formation is very important.

Mr. Rajiv Malhotra is very knowledgable and speaks the truth of geopolitics. I admire him. I am kind of pissed off by Ranveer. The points where you interrupt him and clarify his words is too annoying. The guest's speech makes sure that we are glued to the conversation. You shouldn't jump in and simplify his words. It seems you think the viewers are foolish. I watch your podcasts frequently and your guests are excellent people and I love your content. If you let the podcasts going without interrupting them, the channel would benefit. Cheers !

While studying in the US professors used to tell us that Indian engineering education is one of the worst in the world as it is purely based on rote learning. This is very true, R&D output is very low even from IITs. Watching NPTEL videos from the "best" professors in the country I can tell you we are behind. All reference textbooks in engineering are from professors in the US. We have the "human resources", hopefully this will change! Engineering is an applied science.

I take all the feedback with full spirit but we had to start from somewhere. We chose the path of liberalization so had to depend on foreign money. Hopefully we take a look at it in future by most Entrepreneurs.
