There are so many credible people saying it in the public domain. I even hate using that word "credible", because who gets to decide that, and based on what? We've been lied to for so very long. I could tell that this man was guarded with his wording, but took a completely different approach, by saying that it's statistically impossible that we are alone. I would choose the word "Possibility" or "Probability" instead of believe". You can't believe blindly in something until or unless you have some sort of concrete evidence. I dreamt about aliens and spaceships thrice in my lifetime, and it actually felt real. I dont know why, but i believe we are not the only intelligent beings on this planet there has to be more. Eventually we will confront at some point of time.
The question "do aliens exist" has not been answered here. It has all been about scientific theorising, speculating, mathematical and statistical possibilities & probabilities. The major problem of intergalactic travel or even within our solar system is the distance and the time. The closet star to our Sun is Proxima Centauri which is 4.25 light years = 9 trillion kms. This star system has only one planet which is also not habitable. In near future we can think about colonizing moons of Jupiter or Saturn or Mars as planet. But unless we achieve near to light speed it is almost impossobile to travel to intergalactic planets within a human lifetime except through a wormwole. These things are really interesting and there is a lot to know and we haven't even scratched the surface. Universe is infinite.
It's like saying in order to go somewhere the biggest obstacle is motivation to get there and the distance between two points lol 🫵👀
