I love the current TYBW artstyle, but damn, this thick black outline with exaggerated shadows artstyle era was SO FUCCING HYPE, and sometimes I wonder how TYBW would've looked if they stuck to it.
Yeah, but in old Bleach, we get this sorta look every 15 to 20 episodes. While in the new TYBW adaptation the art is incredibly consistent. And it looks great.

And it shows in some of the scenes and especially in the battles. But when Bleach and Naruto ended a lot of those animators got poached by other studios and their mishandling of shows like Tokyo Ghoul made things worse.
One of the best beat downs in anime. People often complain about it when anime reuse animation, but seeing Ichigo get the everliving shit beaten out of him on repeat will never not be funny to me.😂

Ichigo was right to say "I lost." Grimmjow beat the fuck out of him. If not for Tosen, Grimmjow could have easily ended Ichigo here if he really wanted to. He was not ready, but he needed to know what he is up against.
I miss old nick reactions where he didn't spend 80% of them talking about how he knew what's gonna happen, and mocking people who say he watched the episode before reacting.
Im not a fan of the animation of most of Bleach but my goodness that Grimmjow scene looks amazing, really wish they improved the animation quality for most of the arrancar arc and Aizen's arc 2:24
