People go to great lengths to prevent squirrels from stealing their bird food but over time i have started to feed the squirrels on purpose. Their antics are so entertaining!

Keep them away from the house. Theyll destrot stuff. Still rodents. And nothung should get fed when its not dead of winter. Any expert says so
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Depends on the animal, you shouldn't feed rodents in general as they overpopulate and attract predators like coyotes. Coyotes, Bears, and Deers you should never feed, as they will approach humans more often and spook easily. Not sure about skunks or raccoons but my grandma was obsessed with her wild raccoons to the point of building hideaway for them. Although foxes are unique in the fact they behave a lot like stray cats, they won't grow reliant on humans and will only approach humans they trust for food which isn't easy to obtain. They also act as nature guardians against common pests and rarely attack humans. But remember only approach wildlife if you have experience with animals and never try to pet a wild animal or get too close. Most wild animals are too anxious around humans and may lash out if you do something strange.

It's not mean, they're stupid rodents that don't know when to quit. I have squirrels that ARE mean and attack the birds to scare them away from their feeders, and the frigging squirrels have their own! One even robbed a nest out back. Squirrels are a damned nuisance and this little jerk probably got right back on after he fell off.
Dude, with all the squirrels piling in to rob bird feeders, bird seed can get hella expensive REAL QUICK, even when you're buying it from Walmart, one of the cheapest places to get it! You give those squirrels an inch, and you regret it! 😕

The birds can eat bugs in spring/sumner/fall as god intended. Theyre not supposed to be reliant on people. It's not good for them.
