jeff's doc shows that david tried to do it with corinna first. her rope slipped and she freaked out, said he always takes things too far, and stormed off as soon as she was released from the swing. the fact that david was so close to injuring corinna but STILL went even faster with jeff immediately after shows how sociopathic he can be.
And to think that if he had gone as fast with Corina as he did with Jeff (because he totally would have if she hadn't gotten scared) the consequences on her would have been much worse because of her size gives me chills.
She didn't storm off. I am so tired of how everyone exaggerates everything about David.

They were talking about how he killed 6 people, how he is a mad man or whatever. HE ONLY KILLED 5 OF EM. One is in the hospital fighting a head trauma and internal bleeding. I know this because i know the killer. He is my cousin, great guy. I hate how media overreacts to everything.

Yup. I think I've been rational throughout David and the Vlog Squad's scandal, but he was unbelievably irresponsible doing that. Jeff was going fast enough, then he had to be an idiot and almost killed Jeff. He's lucky he's not dead cause he'd be in prison for involuntary manslaughter right now.

If you watch David’s vlog, which I used to, David severely injured a high school friend while playing around, resulting in a pinecone to the eyeball, leading to a staph infection, requiring hip surgery, producing years long recovery, among other complications. This is at least the SECOND time he has severely injured a person to the point where a life is changed.

It was an accident, they stayed friends even after that, and when David made it big he did a lot for him, gave him a car, house and paid off college fees. Don't just find ways to look everything as an issue.

The full story has a lot of details and is a little lengthy.
But basically, I was in the middle of nowhere Vermont. And this kid decided to throw a pressurized aerosol can of unknown but EXTREMELY combustible substance in the bonfire, surrounded by about 10 people. I was the only one that had gotten hit by the sheared off bottom of the can thankfully. But it’s the journey down the mountain about 45 min away from cell service bleeding out, and all the surgeries/mishaps that make the story.

That excavator is no joke, people go to school for training for weeks to get licensed and David just starts operating it with his friend up there? Is he crazy? Did you see how high and fast Jeff was going? That was so dangerous.
what annoys me even more is that he sent his friends to do intensive skydiving training for like 6 weeks (or something like that) for a vlog but he just couldn't bother to do the same for the excavator in order to guarantee that his friends would've been safe for the bit

Letting him drive is fine, and then the "pro driver doing the stunt would have been fine--- but letting david, an inexperienced noob, be in the drives seat for the stunt; That was just a dumb idea from everyone. The driver shouldn't have allowed it, and the dude shouldn't have done it. And actually, I don't understand why he didn't let go? He was hanging on, once it went so fast, all he had to do is let go and he would have flown out into the water. So he's just as dumb here; its just as much his fault, that he got himself hurt. That damage looked brutal though. yikes.. (you look stunning btw, my goodness)
In regards to Trisha saying she feels bad for David: Never feel bad about people experiencing the consequences of their own choices. David should feel guilty. Consequences are supposed to be uncomfortable, so you learn to do better.

I feel like people aren’t bringing up the fact that Jeff went to Utah after going through a skydiving certification. He was jumping out of a plane by himself 25 times, risking his life 25 times just so David could make a video out of it. David is insane.
Well hold on, he consented to the skydiving and being swung around, he just didn't consent to being swung around at like 60mph and slammed into an excavator.

Nick's(Jonah) accident was that the moped brake lever punctured his stomach on the side(you see it in the video) when he did that pool jump, he talks about it on his VIEWS podcast, but hearing about Jeff's accident really rubbed me the wrong way, like DUDE! you almost killed a bunch of your "friends" and you're home with all your cute assistants, cuddling with you, making you food, kissing your ass, play COD with your curtain riding friends, while you make ALL THE MONEY from your "friend's" pain and suffering! Im a nurse, and work at an urgent care. A couple of years ago one of my doctors had the day off, and he took his teenage sons, and their friends to the river.
They went out on the boat, had done some skiing, were doing some tubing.
It was his sons turn. I believe the boy was 14, or 15 - somewhere around that age.
He gets on the tube, they take off, and of course they were doing what anyone does when boating and tubing on the river - going as fast as you can, maneuvering the boat back and forth, doing turns to give him a wild ride.
(We live close to the TN river)
And my doctor just didnt pay close attention, watching where he was going, lookin back to check on his son on the tube, and he hadn't realized that the last move he had made which would send the tube rocketing out to the side extremely fast, Its hard to explain but for those familiar with boating and/or tubing Im sure yall understand what i mean.
The tube shoot out to the right or left extremely fast, and the wakes will make it bumpy like imagine hitting pothole after pothole - it'll be like **bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump....sudden stop when the tube catches up to the side of the boat, but the boats still flying so as soon as it gets the rope back tight it then jerks the he*l outta you back in line with the boat.
Thats my best at describing it....
Once the tube shoots off to the side theres no way to stop it until it catches up to the side of the boat, rope becomes slack, and all momentum is lost.
Nothing you can do.
So the dr i worked for did this, tube shot off with his son on it, but he didnt realize how close he was to a row of docks.
The tube collided with these docks, his son received major head trauma, brain damage, and was alive immediately after the collision, but he died before he could be life flighted to the hospital.
I watched the video of Jeffs accident, and the whole scene SCREAMED "this is gonna ki*l someone". Smh.
Like....everything about it SCREAMED UNSAFE!!

we all should have seen something like this coming, Zane has been hurt countless times while drunk in the vlogs, Jonah always ends up getting himself hurt and there’s so many other things that have happened in the vlogs that could have been fatal. I think that David as a whole should be held accountable for his actions... but we should also take into consideration that we should hold ALL creators at a higher standard. hmm i'm not sure if they should be held at a higher standard. They should be treated as we treat normal people. You do dumb shit (Like David has) then there should be consequences, just like with "normal" people. You do good stuff, then they should be able to come back (like Logan). We still have to remember that creators are fallible "normal" people who came to money (some by pure chance). Most of the time, it is when they are put on a higher standard that they become disconnected. I just wanna make clear, that I of course think that David should be held accountable, but I just think that the "higher standard" is too much of a two sided coin to actually work.

I also thought it was pretty funny that David sent everybody to go skydiving but he himself wouldn't go.
So after literally 20 minutes of looking through his vlogs I’ve seen him record two of his friends getting into fights rather than helping them, throw darts at his friends hand, Jason power drilling his chest hair, and David shooting friends with multiple paintballs. In another vlog he also explains how he threw a pinecone in his friends eye when they were younger and it resulted in the friend getting severely infected, becoming disabled for years and basically massively affecting his life - granted they were kids but now he’s managed to do a very similar thing with Jeff, and this time he’s older and it’s not accidental. He has no care or respect for his friends. If someone actually sifted through his vlogs and put together a compilation of every time he hurt his friends, put them in a compromising position or just generally made fun of them and made them feel like shit (gabbie, Trisha, Seth), bet the footage would be hours long. Not to mention the disgusting SA that happened under David’s supervision. This isn’t cancelling, this is protecting others
I think about when he sent Jonah to the hospital after paying him to do something so stupid.
I know it was sad but at the same time I think both David and Jonah are at fault.. Mainly David and everyone that was there.. From what I remember it was Jonah’s idea but it didn’t play out the way he wanted it to so took it a little too far. Surprised no one stopped him especially with the speed.. It wouldn’t have went that far if David didn’t expect something extreme.

That video is so disturbing. You can hear Jeff yelling for David to stop (which is why David came to an abrupt stop), but that’s what initially caused Jeff to smash into the excavator.
David is so incredibly wreckless and everybody in that situation should have known better. I don’t blame Jeff for partaking, cause peer pressure is one hell of a drug.

What was more sick is that David never visited Jeff for a month after the surgery. They needed to talk about what happened and reconcile. I'm sure if you have a normal fucking brain you'd know that if someone were to get accidently injured by your hands (and be so close to dying like in Jeff's case) you'd do EVERYTHING in your power to help and support the person physically/ mentally/ emotionally afterwards. Doesn't matter if Jeff didn't bother reaching out first.. obviously there must've been a good amount of resentment from his part. David just keeps disappointing.

yeah to get a license to operate an excavator like the one david is in takes hours on hours of training and is usually done through the company you work for to get you qualified for machinery they need you to run. I have hardly heard of anyone going out and getting it done on their own

If you attach the rope the crane and spin someone at full speed as soon as that crane slows down slightly you’re coming back in right towards the steel crane. It’s like swingball if you keep whacking the ball it’ll spin round but as soon as you stop the string and the ball wrap round the pole and the fact that they didn’t know that is fucking ridiculous.

This isnt the first time David gave someone life changing injuries. He spoke on his podcast how he gave his childhood friend Alex tetanus or something because they were throwing pinecones at each other and it went in his friends eye and Alex was out of school for months and couldnt walk and always used crutches. He literally admitted to ruining his friends life and had no remorse when he spoke about it
he made a video on that in 2016! people are now just revising it!

Yeah, I think Jeff takes full responsibility for what happened, he feels stupid for agreeing to it and doesn't seem to really blame David, but blames himself more. I absolutely feel like David is largely responsible, but it doesn't seem like Jeff feels that way.
Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast with Jeff was out last week but was actually recorded early March. So intriguingly it was delayed as it was recorded before the Insider article allegations. Jeff didn't want to answer Logan's eye questions.
