  • In this fairly long episode, I go through the process of preparing model for primer & painting. I demonstrate the process of applying primer & this is followed by pre-shading panellines & details. I then go in-depth with demonstrating how I mark out the camouflage patterns onto the model before airbrushing the first colour, which I would later realise was the incorrect colour. This was corrected later in the video. The process of cutting out the camouflage patterns from masking tape is also demonstrated. It’s a long process & I had to do this twice because of, initially, applying the incorrect colour.
    Masking & applying colour is a process that I enjoy the most, even if I have to do it twice, as was the case for this model.
    Then next video, Part 6, will be about applying decals, panelline washes, weathering effects & clear coating.

    Very very nice, great video, nice catch on the deep buff, its a difficult colour to achueve, interesting music

      @@gregoryswart5191 thank you, I appreciate your compliment. Getting the Deep Buff colour almost 100% accurate is definitely a plus as I have plans to build a F-86/CL-13 Sabre with a camouflage scheme in the near future.
