I made this twice since watching this video. The second time around, I fermented the salted batter in a yoghurt maker for around 50 hours at 37 degrees Celsius. The batter turned bubbly and tangy, so no need to add yoghurt. I was able to easily eat three as the batter was already pre-digested by the L plantarum culture and the vitamin content is also multiplied, but then cooking the batter destroys the vitamins, but at least there would still be a little left as there is multiple times more than normal before cooking Thanks for the inspiration.

very nice . I liked the idea of stuffed moonglet. my mother used to make this with moong chhilka so i also do the same after soaking i do not remove the chhilka just grind the whole thing.
Similar to the adai we make in Tamilnadu. We add 4 or 5 lentils. I make it with coconut oil. We often mix drumstick leaves in the batter along with chopped onions and green chillis for the amazing aroma and flavor ofcourse increasing the nutritive value 😊
👌We make moong dal cheela or dosa with green chutney/ coconut chutney, cooked in very little oil. Thank you for telling us about butter. Like you, i'm a big fan of butter, ghee, hara dhaniya and mild masalas. The stuffed moonglet idea is also good. Along with paneer, cheese, chillies, chutney, finely chopped capsicum, a tbsp of dardara crushed raw fresh sweet corn can also be added. 😋👌 For kids, depending on their age, a small stuffed moonglet is enough. For teenagers & adults, a normal sized one is fine.
