She doesn't realize how mail works in the jail. Anytime something goes in or out it is heavily scrutinized and no they aren't really that responsible to be quick about sending things out either. They don't care. And the silly part of it all is the judge can't say anything about it because he doesn't set the rules for the jail!

Yes, I saw the video. It was really sad. She went upstairs and layed down and passed out. She claimed she didn't mean for him to die and I honestly think she didn't. She claims it was an accident because she fell asleep. She passed out wasted drunk. You can hear her slurred words when she was taunting him. She didn't want to admit that she was drunk. I used to drink as an alcoholic. I'd drink till I passed out and wake up the next day and not remember anything. When you're so drunk you're in a "blackout" you really can't recall anything. That's because the neurotransmitters in your brain don't connect to make the memory. They misfire so to speak. So the memory doesn't exist. I went to inpatient treatment more than a couple of times and actually learned a few things. But I didn't quit drinking until it just wasn't fun anymore. The alcohol wasn't working, it wasn't helping me to not feel my emotional pain anymore. It was a slow suicide because I was too cowardly to kill myself and get it over with. Well, I'm glad that's all behind me now. Thank God I never got in a car wreck and I didn't hurt or kill anyone. I could've easily. Drunk and or impaired drivers are on the road 24/7. That scares me to death. I've known several people who were killed. And AA meetings don't work for everyone. I prayed often. But the answers may not come right away. I just got to where alcohol just made me tired . I still bought it a couple times but I quit doing that when I saw that I'd open a beer and never take a drink so it just went down the sink before I went to bed. My neighbor started coming over to drink the beers I had so I quit buying it. I don't miss any of that at all. I haven't drank in more than 20 years. I can have a drink when I go out to dinner with my kids. I don't even finish one drink. I can't imagine drinking enough to feel sick the next day. I know this Boone lady was very hungover the next day when she woke up. It was easy to see.

She will never take accountability, just like Munchenhaussen bp, despite all the evidence and it will always be someone else. I think she is "unhinged", clearly. However, from another angle, it's very easy to argue that she is not mad, or crazy, or unhinged, but that is HER. It's her character, it's who she is, it's what she does, it's what she is all about. She's not mad, but just bad. None of this is to debate her trial, but it is a very fine line between people who are stark raving nuts, and people who are just like that as a character type. As an inmate she has lost all of those rights and freedoms.

Pro se litigants are expected to be competent and act in accordance with local rules etc. just like an attorney. She gets a long leash for appeal mitigation purposes, but the Judge can absolutely tell her to get bent if she is incompetent. That's her problem. Her only hope at competent representation is to plead mea culpa and ask the court to appoint representation with her hat in hand and while emphasizing her inability to effectively represent herself due to her lack of legal knowledge or experience. Lean into a substantial due process appeal claim to basically to get the judge to err on the cautious side and reappoint counsel. That r re quires her to look wrong, so she's cant and wont do that; she is screwed lol.
