Awesome video, awesome truck, keep updates coming and more mods, thankyou - 2001 7.3 f250 4x4 6 inch lift 35s on 22s, motor has 2 core all aluminum radiator, billet thermostat housing, coolent filter, k&n filter, hpx, frx, banjo bolts & cvd bolts, hutch mod, in line fuel filter, boost fooler, no tuning no turbo no injectors yet, trans has 6.0 cooler, deep pan, shift kit,
Thanks I appreciate it,nice setup you got,I’m looking to do similar to mine once I have the free time, but I’m definitely going to be doing more videos soon, next I’m probably going to be doing a turbo not sure on what I want to get yet I was looking at a Garrett 38r or KC38R,I’m hoping I get one soon so I’ll have something new to post in the coming month or so
@@swink49 yeah that’s what I originally wanted heard they’re really good but I went with a regular reman only because I wanted to do the 05-07 suspension swap which requires the newer steering box
@@wildingarage2003awesome man. I just bought the ones you got. I’m really looking for single shot efficiency and a bump more nothing crazy. 200k miles on stock transmission. Never been pulled from truck. Trying to make it last as long as possible. Love that single shot idle!
@@Farmtractor mine was a similar situation 170k stock trans, my trans ended up going anyways 6 months after I got them, my main argument for the Stage 1s and not bigger was “I didn’t want transmission issues” lol after I had it rebuilt I was kicking my self for not going bigger, regardless though with the stages ones you’ll feel a nice difference and for the money it’s 100% worth it.
.nice truck. Did u do the bd valve body yourself. And u have a stock turbo with the ww2.. I just bought a 02 7.3. Only thing I don't like is it's a dually and geared low
Yeah I did the valve body myself it’s pretty easy just drop the trans pan and unbolt the stock one and swap them out and torque the bolts back up, and add 7qts of atf, and yeah stock turbo with ww2 and ATS Ported housed with bd waste gate, the duallys are nice but I just don’t like the idea of having to worry about being so wide all the time lol
The Trans was rebuilt but stock rebuild,it’s holding up good, only thing I would say is the torque converter would slip at WOT when it would lock up around 40-50mph,it really needs a triple disc converter to hold the power
@@Ryan-xq1vb I would def get the John woods VB or a BTS VB both have great reviews, I was going to change out my BD VB for one of those but didn’t wana waste the $300 I already spent, but with the valve body and maybe a 6.0 trans cooler you should be fine with the stage 2s
I think it’s def worth the upgrade but I’d go with a stage 1.5 at a minimum but would def recommend a hybrid if you didn’t mind spending $1800-1900 , with stage 1 I noticed a big difference but after a while I got used to it and wanted more and regretted not going with hybrids lol
It will last longer the 7.3 will out last maybe not perform . It’s the king of options . I wonder is it paired with the new 10 speed transmission in the 2020.?
Best engine ever built by navistar. Long live those 7.3s
Nice truck runs smooth you can hear how healthy its running

Bout to be a single shot transmission
Steering looks good. My steering wheel would of been back and forth all over the place
It was a new steering box and pretty much new front end parts prior to that it was back and forth for me too
I have a new red top steering box on the way.. they say it’s better than OEM

I thought the truck was already cool listening to it and hearing it accelerate. Then he showed the outside and my jaw dropped
sweet truck!
I know it’s been 5 years but I’m really interested! Are these the 180/stock nozzle stage 1 injectors from Full force? Thanks
Yeah stage 1 stock nozzle from FFD, if I were you I’d go at least stage 1.5 which is same injector but 30% nozzle if they have it or stage 2

That would be the WIcked wheel 2 and a Ats ported compressor housing
Is that a stock transmission minus the valve body and how is it holding up?

Still slow tho
