At 76, as a child, I remember James Dean in a few t.v. shows, before he became popular in movies! His raw talent was undeniable, but I believe, because of his lifestyle, i.e. race car driving, smoking, sexuality, etc., that he would have died an early death, had he survived the 1955 crash! Also, his looks were already beginning to fade, even at 24 & that his career would have been over by 40! R.I.P.! James!
Such a beautiful soul he was. Such a young person he was. Troubled and sensitive. He’s my idol. He only acted in 3 films and 10-15+ tv productions. Literally one of the most honest actors. RIP James Dean.

As a teenager we all followed him , that’s when we first recognized method acting. And Marlon Brando had the same style. Like having a gemstone 💎 in your hand and loosing it . We never seem to forget him . He could make you part of him . 👍🇺🇸 enough said.
As an actor, he was truly gifted and unique. He had the most natural persona on screen, never duplicated. In the movie GIANT, which he stole, he showed what could have been expected in the future. Tragic he was gone so soon.
