Hollywood has fucked up alot of good people

At 76, as a child, I remember James Dean in a few t.v. shows, before he became popular in movies! His raw talent was undeniable, but I believe, because of his lifestyle, i.e. race car driving, smoking, sexuality, etc., that he would have died an early death, had he survived the 1955 crash! Also, his looks were already beginning to fade, even at 24 & that his career would have been over by 40! R.I.P.! James!

That was a beautiful scene. I couldn't tell if the shots of Dean and Sal Mineo were part of the original movie or spliced in. Pier Angeli was certainly beautiful and had a beautiful voice (assuming that was her voice?). As for James Dean, I think it's safe to say he wasn't very straight if at all. I highly recommend the book, "Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood," by Scotty Bowers. It's full of anecdotes of pretty much everyone active in Hollywood during the 40s and 50s. It's trash I suppose, but it's the best trash I've ever read! lol.

The intro music was perfect for this video. Very compelling.... Until the vocal came in. That kind of ruined it. It compleatly stole from the intensity. IMO

As an actor, he was truly gifted and unique. He had the most natural persona on screen, never duplicated. In the movie GIANT, which he stole, he showed what could have been expected in the future. Tragic he was gone so soon.
