That play was insane and it seems like nobody talks about it
Dude your videos give me the chills every time i watch them
Madden 11 intro had so many of those moments
Right?
2009 was the first year I started watching football I was eight years old and my chargers had the second best record in the AFC with 13 and three I was so young then I knew nothing about any other team except my chargers. When they got upset by the New York Jets I cried so hard it took me months to get over it
This was awesome. Please do more.
NFL 2009 was insane. So many QB'S in their primes. Almost every team and a great #1 wr, a really good #2, and a deep threat #3. So many 3 down rbs that could catch the ball. So many long TD's , punt returns, int. The season was crazy, the playoffs were crazy, as was the Super Bowl. Regular season games Vikings @ Steelers, Packers@Steelers, and playoff games Packers@Cardinals and Vikings@Saints really stand out
Can you do a vid on bounty gate, because it’s the 10th year anniversary
Yes
Garrison Shubert every team had a bounty
It might not be much of video because even though the saints were singled out for putting bounties and trying to injured players they actually had one of the lowest opponent's injury rate
Demoniclily let’s just not talk about the terrible officiating throughout the entire game, with the saints getting a PI call costing the Vikings the win when the defender didn’t even touch the receiver and it was clear as day on video😂😂😂
XiiLe yup, that game was rigged
Wow here I was as a bengals fan enjoying this video and then get a major gut punch of a reminder about that Bengals Broncos game.... still remember sitting dumbfounded in front of my tv.
As a saints fan, rewatching those highlights gave me goosebumps 🔥🔥
KingBrady we just beat the cowboys too bro! It ain’t too late to get another one! Drews coming back soon! Hopefully someone sees this comment in the future and we indeed have another ring.. who dat!
I loved this video. Fantastic summery. I remember this season probably the best of any season. It felt like I was back in 2009 again and as Vikings fan and Peyton Manning fan I was dreading the ending
You forgot about Jerome Harrison’s near record setting game against the Chiefs...
10:17 guy on the Left with the Lombardi trophy style cut on his head. Simple yet clean detail 💯💯💯
Back when i actually enjoyed watching nfl without all the BS they have now
Like what
Let me try...two-hand-touch of the QB, all the flopping (like soccer), helmet-to-helmet (I'm against spearing, but c'mon man).
Maybe I'm just nostalgic though. Too lazy to look up when the rules were implemented.
Yet here you are
Yeah man I feel you. This was some of the last years I loved football. After about 2015 I just couldn't stand to watch it anymore. May sound weird but to me it just feels like football has lost its heart, if that makes sense. Just doesn't feel the same.
Edit: so now I just watch hockey. I always been a hockey fan. But now it's just the only sport I will watch regularly. a sport that isn't filled with divas and non stop drama is much more enjoyable.
@@tigeraceray2757 but he is here watching a video about ten years ago... I don't like football anymore either, but I will still lightly keep up on it. But I never watch games on sundays or Mondays anymore. I don't stat watch everything anymore for fantasy cause I quit playing that. It's just a league filled with divas and drama. Atleast back then the divas like TO and Ocho were fun, now we stuck with guys like AB
Chills all over my body with that last call! Oh the memories😂🙌🏽
Those red Pats unis though 🔥
Great video and a blast from the past! Please do one for 20 years ago, 30 years ago and so on!
Never will I ever forget how much I cried when Brett threw that pick
A wise man once said, “WHY PONDER PASSING? YOU CAN JUST TAKE A KNEE AND TRY A 56-YARD FIELD GOAL! THIS ISN’T DETROIT MAN THIS IS THE SUPER BOWL!!!!”
I remember the madden on ps2 people helmets will come off lol 😂
That stopped after Madden 04
@@ericlynnwright123 no, 06 I remember popping people.
@@PortalOfKaden still could in 07
This was amazing! Definitely a nice trip down memory lane as a football fan! Loved this video!
Miss the NFL 10 years ago, but I'm biased.
You did it again man what a great video and I must admit I'm a Jets fan so those are the good old days but great video
Colts fans are still haunted by the 2009 pick-6
That last play is literally ingrained in my memory to this day. Leon Hall did everything he could man, RIP.
2009. The year I started watching Football.
Charlie Parker Nobody Cares
blackice214 you cared enough to reply to the comment
Me too, the first game I watched was the Superbowl between the Cardinals and the Steelers. Watching all the montages of past Superbowls and knowing that after losing the Superbowl Tom got hurt in the opening game of the 08 season I couldn't help but simpatize with the Pats and eventually become a fan of them
my first was the bucs and the raiders
Nicholas Vandergeest I started in 2014
Damn man this is so well put together, a pure nostalgia shot. Excellent!
The Vikings didn't lose that game because of some made-up "Look, I care about player safety" bullshit by Goodell. They lost because they turned the ball over 5 times.
Man that brought me back! Thanks KTO
Am I the only one who loves the old score overlays
Kyle Daniels fox I don’t , but I’m with you on cbs
As a saints fan, i don’t see them brought up in historical nfl videos very often. seeing this, though, i knew i had to click. the mention of my hometown broncos is also appreciated!
I got goosebumps in the anticipation to the outro play god these videos are so entertaining and i dont watch football
I’ll never forget that NFC championship. Never. One of the best games I’ve watched. What a year Brett had. Only to then end his season on an INT that was totally avoidable.
As a saints fan I loved this season
masteronesolo not really cheating if every team had a bounty plus the hits were legal
That Saints onside kick was legit the first play I saw that Super Bowl, as there was a massive blizzard that struck southern New Jersey leading up to the game, and we got power back on in my house just as the Saints were lining up for that kick
Laughing out loud, hard, at the Collinsworth intro
I had just moved to Minnesota, and Favre was 100% what convinced me to become a Vikings fan. Never looked back.
If someone dies in a living room, is it still a living room?
@Tw1 underrated comment
Top 10 Questions Google doesn't have the answer for.
Yes
@Tw1 ghost gonna be pissed when you find out it just went on sale
Well, since the bacteria inside you still lives, yes.
As a Bills fan, the first segment was gut wrenching to watch. I remember that game like it was yesterday, also the 25 QB's that came after Trent Edwards! I've endured 20 years of Bills giving games away just like this, the reason why Bills Mafia holds Josh Allen as our savior lol. The glory days are back! Go Bills
The Wildcat would die this year.
Randy Fichtner 10 years later: "WILDCAT TIME BABY!"
APWGaming it worked against the bengals. That’s it however lmao
@@acapt3593 honestly I had totally forgot about those games haha.
