Yep. That's why he will always be remembered as Fritzmagic.
Everybody forgets him playing through, a broken rib I think for over half the season after a London fletcher hit.
Not saying that’s why they finished 6-10. But it definitely would have been a more successful season if fitz didn’t take that hit/injury
@@davidpitts5851 yes he did. Only thing is, he has found ways to miss the playoffs throughout his career. I like the guy, I respect his gutsy play, but he's one of those that can't seal the deal and get your team into the postseason.
11:00 “the happiest night of skip bayless’ life” had me dyyyyyyyyying 😂😂😂
My G-MEN did it again. God I miss that team. How about we do it again this season 10 years later!
LETS GO G-MEN!!!
man I remember this season so well. many of those players were on my fantasy team
As a 9er, thus season was both amazing & heartbreaking. Great vid!
Cundiff’s field goal miss in the AFC championship was the first time I cried because of a sports game. That game was heartbreaking. Thankfully next year made up for it
As a Lions fan, I remember how excited we were…then 2012 happened
I miss the 2014 lions defense
Same
As a Texans fan, 2011 and 2012 were the greatest time to be a fan. Can’t say that much during the BoB era and now the Deshaun Saga
As a giants fan, I loved this season. Good memories.
Same here man hopefully we can get back
As an Aaron rodgers fan it was big sad
I’m from Iceland and didn’t start watching until 2018… I hate that I missed out on all this stuff but videos like this help catching me up.
2011 was one of the greatest seasons in NFL history in my opinion.
it was a nitemare for me being a Eagles fan also we saw one of the worst injuries in NFL history that year Johnny Knox
10:35 still get chills. I was just a little boy seeing my college hero ball. Wish it could have been a better ride for Tebow
"It had entered Ohio State-Michigan territory." As a Michigan fan, the truth of the statement hurts deeply.
Tom's kindness kicked in! He couldn't help but give them the ball!
I graduated high school in 2011. Crazy how time flies. I'm still salty at the Giants for beating my Niners that year lol.
Yeah crazy how times flies
Me 2 shit is crazy
2011 was the year I started watching every Lions game, what a year to start they were so fun to watch. I can't believe it's ten years ago already
Bro the sad thing is that in less than 5 years he will have a vid talking about 2016 season being “a decade ago”. I’m not ready KTO.
That’s 5 years from now settle down, live for today
So weird seeing a flashback type video for this season and I remember it like it was just yesterday, I’m only 24 and things are making me feel old all the time
Me, an eagles fan: “Oh this will be a fun video!”
Vince Young: “Heh, dream team 🤡”
It still hurts.
How to jinx your team, by V Young.
The nfl kept calling the eagles the dream team that year. That laugh by Young seemed like a, this team is a mess, they aren't a dream team. Type laugh. If I recall this interview was when vick got hurt and eagles picked up Vince Young.
I was 7 for the 2010 season and decided to band wagon the eagles because of Michael Vick despite my family being torn between the Steelers and bengals I was so hyped for the 2011 season but I’m happy I stuck with them ever since
10:36 hits harder now :/
RIP DT
14:18 still gives me goosebumps
Yeah. Although the "still give me goosebunps" is a played out saying but what a game
I was too young to understand but Gee, we earned that dub, all four of em
Same
MAKE MORE OF THESE! The nostalgia I got from watching this was unreal. Fantastic work
The Super Bowl gives me one emotion, pain... Defeated by that caveman QB TWICE!
YOU MAD LOL !!!
Eli smokin on that Brady pack
Cry
Caveman?! 🤣💀
I can't believe this was 10 years ago. This was my first season of being a hardcore fan, I watched every game.
Man the nostalgia.
This was the first season I watched the NFL regularly. I picked the Giants as my team because my local team was also going to be the Giants. That was a fun year.
So your one of those annoying bandwagon fans
@@samsquanch1234 ah yes, 9-7 is an amazing bandwagon to jump on as a local (speaking sarcastically as a lifelong giants fan)
@@samsquanch1234 or he was just a kid who choose what team he liked. HD didn't say it's cause they were goated but an innocent reason.
I LOVE this series and seeing the difference in 10 years
Won a 1000 bucks during this Superbowl. I never win anything like that. And then....they lined up to go for two. My heart sank.
Kristian, thank you for providing top notch football videos. It makes TH-cam worth having.
2011 was the first NFL season I watched as a young 7 year old.
Wow, I was a sophomore in high school!
@@JD-ib9zd old head
@@twinkie4999 lol yup
It’s videos like this that keep me coming back to the NFL. I had goosebumps throughout the whole video. Solid stuff
Aaron Rodgers had those stats and sat out a game against the Lions. Dude would have had 50 TD’s, 5000 YD’s, 6 INT’s. He was unstoppable that season
That last clip made me tear up not gonna lie! Man what a season that was for my packers! I’m so glad to this day I got to see them win! So greatfull to get to watch farce and rodgers play! I’m going to a game this year! Only my second ever. 27 now btw! I don’t care what anyone thinks of says! I love rodgers and what he did for our team! So many great memories!
I was at that game when the saints beat the Lion's, as a Lions fan we hate to admit it but Stanford missed alot of throws in that game, too many times he was caught starting down Calvin especially the one td he caught in the back of the end zone. Even with time in the pocket Stanford didn't even try his other options.
This is a video I look forward to every year
