2005 Cadillac STS grille running foglight removal from bumper

I remove the fog/running lights, grille, and air dam from the old bumper cover.
2005 Cadillac STS 4.6L v8 Northstar RWD 6-speed auto, similar to the CTS, SRX, and 3.6L v6 2005-2013 models.

How did you remove the electrical line without damaging them? I notice they're not really a push/pull design.
