Why no one talking about how chapter 1 and chapter 2 can get merged together, i mean they already merged the chapter 1 og start location and merge chapter 2 island so i wouldn't be surprise if they merged chapter 1 with chapter 2 map, they already teasing something
I miss the days when you would buy the battle pass and get 2 super basic skin at the beginning and then you end up with a super badass skin when you have all the xp. Same for tier 100

In short form, we lost A LOT of cosmetics in the battle pass to edit styles, about 10-20 items that could have been swapped out for the edit styles...

I think this would’ve been a perfect time to bring back the style challenges for skins like Eliminating opponents and gaining XP. All of the filter styles would’ve been so perfect to have as style challenges, and it’s unfortunate they overcrowded the battle pass a lot

Sure COVID is effecting many things in the world right now but then again, they’ve been pumping out cosmetics in the item shops so much. They could of either just made some more items for the Battle Pass or instead of putting things in the item shop. They can put it in the Battle Pass. And better yet. Unpopular opinion: the skins from last season were the best out of any battle pass. They could have easily sold just iron man for 2000 vbucks and it would still sell like crazy but they put it in a 950 vbuck battle pass

something that needs to change back is separation of levels and tiers. it means we can no longer get edit styles from xp/level related challenges (eg carbide, drift, lynx, etc) and they are instead taking up spots in the 100 levels (which have less rewards than chapter 1 as free pass items have their own level in chapter 2). i miss having only. 2 or 3 characters with xp challenges, tier 1 and tier 100. i like having more options and edit styles but when they take up more of the battle pass than the skins thats a big problem for me. and like you said i miss having specific tiers for certain things eg tier 5 was a green emote, 23 was a purple skin, 34 was 100 v bucks, 63 was a blue emote, 95 was a purple emote, 100 was the final legendary skin. you always knew how far away you were from what rewards whereas now i feel im checking every time i level up to see what the next interesting item is.

Some recommendations for the next season -have a cool looking tier 100 skin -Don’t have too many built in emotes and put some authentic emotes into the battlepass -Maybe one collab skin that is in the battlepass or a secret Ex:Star Wars,Marvel,etc
Despite loving this battle pass, I have noticed how it slowly turns less valuable over time. We used to get a new item every tier plus the occasional bonus item from the free pass. Now, some tiers are just edit styles for other skins.
I’m getting Overwatch vibes from this battle pass like the rease skin reminds me of Zarya, man cake reminds me of Mcree and that skin in all black with the mist is literally Reaper
Mike Hunt but also kondor is supposed to be basically a japanese spirt of vengeance so your some what correct with the mist but most spirits have that mist
I definitely don't like that theres only 3 emotes this season. Still far better than last season which only had in-builts, but earlier seasons had much more. I have a feeling it might be because they've been running out of ideas on emotes, though. If you notice last season, on top of the BP not having any non-inbuilt emotes, about half the item shop emotes were tie ins with copyrighted music, and it had the second least amount of item shop emote releases in a single season, beaten out only by ch1 s2, which is when emotes were introduced.
Back in chapter 1, there were 2 battle passes- free and paid. There were MANY more rewards, even if just filler. Even without that, the Vbucks from a free pass have now been merged into the c2 battle pass. We lost 30-ish tiers of rewards with this change, and now that styles and built in emotes count for tiers, we’ve lost so much.
Remember when they had missions that, when completing each of them, you are rewarded with extra parts to the battle pass skins? Why didn't they do something like that again this season?
The reason behind the uncommon emote at the end is because they’ve grouped the battle pass into sections depending on who the character is. That emote relates to menace. The pass also doesn’t even feel like padding because what else do we normally get, more loading screens, emoticons, and banners?
Idk how last season cosmetics were actually unique only two good skins in this battle pass but it's not like you will wear any of them after a week! Lmao

I actually really liked this season’s Battle Pass! I love that we actually have a secret & original secret skin this season! Now we just need the loading screens for completing all of the weekly challenges for each week & I’ll be really happy. That’s the only thing I miss having. Also I unlocked the Booming emote on the 1st day of the season buying no tiers & it’s one of my new favorite emotes!

i agree with mostly everything you discussed in this video except the rant about the edit styles being filler, i don't see this too bad because they used to give out so many emote-icons and banners as filler. They ALWAYS have to have something for filler and i'd personally rather get 12 edit styles that i may or may not use than 12 banners, emote-icons, or loading screens that i most likely will never use
The only thing I don't like this season is that punchcard are gone and that blue quests take there place but you don't know if there are more stages to the quest or if you're done yet
The only complaint I have with this battlepass is that having an edit style for the mandalorian and baby yoda backbling as a tier 100 is kinda lame. I liked last battlepass, but I will admit this one is better.

I agree with alot of the stuff that ITF said but the tier 95 emote is from the movie "The Gladiator" and I think that this was the reason that epic ranked it so high on the battle pass
I was at first but if you go to the lobby then the a thing that says quests and if you click then the challenges will appear Or get into a game and go into the menu (You know like when you see your sttings) there is an option called challenges and it will be more organized
Umm you press a button then it leads you to missions for xp some may need you to find characters that are found in some POIS and landmarks then you talk to them and do their missions
If you’re talking about the 15K EXP challenges, they effectively work like punch cards. Once you’ve done a specific objective to start the punch card, it’ll show in your quests.
The reason the uncommon emote is higher in tier is because it's a gladiator themed emote, so thematically it makes more sense to group it with the gladiator skin.
I’m ngl the only emotes I’ve seen good since chapter 1 were the ones in c2 s2 & some in c2 s3 after that they were just mostly built in or very boring generic ones.
I actually like the lack of challenges we can do at a time, let’s me enjoy the game more instead of getting tilted that I didn’t meet the requirements of a dumb challenge Usually they make those edit styles challenges and I always hated doing them, so now instead I can play normally and still get all the edit styles with only having to do Star Wars quests and epic quests

Oh hands down the best the last few seasons have had good stuff. s1 8Ball and Fusion,S2 Meowscles,Sky and Midas,S3 Eternal Knight and Fade,S4 Doom, the female skins,Stark and Wolverine. This season has a constant good stream of skins and items in general. Also literally everything gives xp if you do enough of everything I bought the basic pass and like 5 tiers at separate times and I'm at the Mave stuff already. This entire pass has skins that are gonna stay in my locker presets for a while.

I feel like last season Marvel gave Epic a list of characters they can use in game. It was random, no correlation to each other. Now, creativity had a role this season for clearly thought on the skins were bought were put in. One issue is that 2 pages are dedicated to one character towards the end of the BP.
There's something I noticed about this pass that I haven't seen anyone else point out. Normally, there's 8 skins in the main pass and then the secret skin, but this pass, there's only 7 with the secret. It's not a big deal and is probably because they put the Child and the last Beskar challenge at tier 100, but it's just something I noticed.

The reason behind the uncommon emote at the end is because they’ve grouped the battle pass into sections depending on who the character is. That emote relates to menace. The pass also doesn’t even feel like padding because what else do we normally get, more loading screens, emoticons, and banners?
Idk how last season cosmetics were actually unique only two good skins in this battle pass but it's not like you will wear any of them after a week! Lmao

I don't understand stand why would people just buy through entire battlepass of 100 dollars and never use the cosmetics. Yet I see people using one single skin over and over, like nog ops for example.

I actually really liked this season’s Battle Pass! I love that we actually have a secret & original secret skin this season! Now we just need the loading screens for completing all of the weekly challenges for each week & I’ll be really happy. That’s the only thing I miss having. Also I unlocked the Booming emote on the 1st day of the season buying no tiers & it’s one of my new favorite emotes!

i agree with mostly everything you discussed in this video except the rant about the edit styles being filler, i don't see this too bad because they used to give out so many emote-icons and banners as filler. They ALWAYS have to have something for filler and i'd personally rather get 12 edit styles that i may or may not use than 12 banners, emote-icons, or loading screens that i most likely will never use

The only complaint I have with this battlepass is that having an edit style for the mandalorian and baby yoda backbling as a tier 100 is kinda lame. I liked last battlepass, but I will admit this one is better.

Honestly I disagree. I’m glad that you can use most of the cosmetics on other skins but the actual skins aren’t really good in my opinion.
I don’t like any of the base skins besides the anime girl but I like the skins once they get edit styles, I may hold off on buying this battlepass though

I was at first but if you go to the lobby then the a thing that says quests and if you click then the challenges will appear

Umm you press a button then it leads you to missions for xp some may need you to find characters that are found in some POIS and landmarks then you talk to them and do their missions

If you’re talking about the 15K EXP challenges, they effectively work like punch cards. Once you’ve done a specific objective to start the punch card, it’ll show in your quests.
The reason the uncommon emote is higher in tier is because it's a gladiator themed emote, so thematically it makes more sense to group it with the gladiator skin.
Tbh, the battle pass emotes havent been good since Season 7.

I’m ngl the only emotes I’ve seen good since chapter 1 were the ones in c2 s2 & some in c2 s3 after that they were just mostly built in or very boring generic ones.
I actually like the lack of challenges we can do at a time, let’s me enjoy the game more instead of getting tilted that I didn’t meet the requirements of a dumb challenge
Usually they make those edit styles challenges and I always hated doing them, so now instead I can play normally and still get all the edit styles with only having to do Star Wars quests and epic quests

Oh hands down the best the last few seasons have had good stuff. s1 8Ball and Fusion,S2 Meowscles,Sky and Midas,S3 Eternal Knight and Fade,S4 Doom, the female skins,Stark and Wolverine. This season has a constant good stream of skins and items in general. Also literally everything gives xp if you do enough of everything I bought the basic pass and like 5 tiers at separate times and I'm at the Mave stuff already. This entire pass has skins that are gonna stay in my locker presets for a while.

Usually each skin has a set of challenges to do to unlock specific edit styles and cosmetics. Instead the interactive battle pass page is gone and the edit styles use up the battle pass tiers.
In short form, we lost A LOT of cosmetics in the battle pass to edit styles, about 10-20 items that could have been swapped out for the edit styles...
i love mandalorian so its a 10/10 for me

I feel like last season Marvel gave Epic a list of characters they can use in game. It was random, no correlation to each other. Now, creativity had a role this season for clearly thought on the skins were bought were put in. One issue is that 2 pages are dedicated to one character towards the end of the BP.

There's something I noticed about this pass that I haven't seen anyone else point out. Normally, there's 8 skins in the main pass and then the secret skin, but this pass, there's only 7 with the secret. It's not a big deal and is probably because they put the Child and the last Beskar challenge at tier 100, but it's just something I noticed.
