DRCC KOM RACE 2024: ALL PAIN NO GLORY?

This is my second attempt at the DRCC KOM race, after last year's top ten finish. I had ZERO expectations about my performance for this year. Which made my results and power/heart rate records a huge surprise.
I am so glad that we managed to register as late entrants ($37 SGD!), and that we had a smooth journey up and down to Ipoh from Singapore thanks to Isaac's car handling.
P.S. This is NOT our first race together in the rain, but hopefully the last!

Thank you for the video! Overall was a fun event but like you said a chaotic start as I started close to the back. Was disappointed the race distance was shortened. Although looking forward to next year's race!

Thank u :) The elevation should be 1093m according to the race organisers (v2.checkpointspot.asia/event/drcc-intl-kom-2024). If it says 780m in your Strava, go to the ride then click on 'Adjust Elevation' - sometimes the bike computer gps signal will get thwarted and record too much/too little elevation

@@kennleong7519 how far did you travel to get to the start line 😝 safety first - there were definitely a few crashes at the start…partly due to bad visibility and deep potholes

@@min-moves .. Luckily not too far. I just travelled from KL with another fren of mine. Stayed a night at Simpang Pulai. We woke up .. opened the window .. saw the rain .. observed a while on the condition .. then back to bed!! Wakes up again for Ipoh Dim Sum. 😅
