- The Panzerspähwagen 30(t) Tatra OA VZ 30 in 72nd scale from First to Fight is a nice little kit. I quite like the suspension detail. Too bad you can't really see it at all.
Fun and simple to build, which sometimes is exactly what the doctor ordered. Especially if the doctor ordered a break from photo etch...
Good times!

Looking good.
But:
"What a shovel!"
I actually have this kit. The barrel broke on mine after i had installed it so i had to cut off and use the barrel of the reserve machine gun so i'd say it did it's job!
It's always nice when there's a spare
Herbert, I’m going to take a shot at the the two “fiddley parts and the round part on the rear fender, the small parts by the doors could be antenna mounts and the round part could be for antenna storage. This vehicle probably was some sort of forward scout vehicle and the radio would have been handy, also it might have been equipped with some sort of radio direction detection, and the two antennas would have Dee useful in this roll. Just surmising.
That’s not a bad guess. When most people think of radio direction finding gear a loop antenna comes to mind because rotating the loop looks dramatic in movies. However, with two whip antennas you can do the same job by driving the whole vehicle in a circle. More likely a rectangle following available roads, but the effect is the same.
I never thought of that, but it makes a lot of sense. The bit across the roof could have also been an antenna or antenna related part.
Another chunky, slightly awkward looking armored car. Love these vehicles, even if this one doesn’t have the quirky elan of some of the French ones. But hey, you need something to oppose the French ones, so you’re good.
