Coach Prime is very savvy. what he doesn't get on the front end he'll get from the back of house. People forget at the time he came CU didn't have the money to really give him so he created it by filling the stadium and merchandise sales and viewership.

Although, he’s obviously small potatoes compared to Nike, the concept is the same as Oregon Ducks Association with Nike. If he went to FSU for example his brand wouldn’t overshadow FSU. He has talent on the team for sure, besides his son's and Travis. I'm not sure he is a great coach which is something earned with more than 5 or 6 wins in a year.
