What everyone seems to forget about is that Coach Prime also gets revenue from merch sales and ticket sales over a certain amount of seats sold similar to his contract that he had with Jackson State so with all of that he actually would make more or about the 7.5 million mark. Coach Prime is very savvy. what he doesn't get on the front end he'll get from the back of house. People forget at the time he came CU didn't have the money to really give him so he created it by filling the stadium and merchandise sales and viewership.

    • @Primetimebuffnation

Rick George was ready to offer coach whatever he wanted at the beginning of the year. But Coach Prime wanted to wait until the end of the season. He didn't want to just be thrown a bag before he had really done anything, so the haters would have to wait. 4-8 was nothing to brag on, but he had that much faith that his team was going to have a great year getting to a bowl game and beyond. So he'll have his extension and become the highest paid Big 12 coach, and maybe in the whole country.

The Buffaloes are part of Prime’s brand because Prime is bigger than CU. When you see CU basketball, CU Soccer, people think of prime. Although, he’s obviously small potatoes compared to Nike, the concept is the same as Oregon Ducks Association with Nike.
If he went to FSU for example his brand wouldn’t overshadow FSU.
He’ll stay at CU because that’s how he’ll grow the Prime brand. Don’t be shocked to see “Prime” logos on every CU jersey in the near future. That’s how this man thinks.

Leave George alone obviously he has been fair, The whole state of Colorado has been outstanding. The more this team wins legacies will be accomplished. Don't start none want be none?
