I'm so stoked to finally see it! I figured that it was likely that Tevinter had technological advances not seen anywhere else in Thedas, due to their lack of restrictions on magical research. There's a reason why the rest of Thedas is happy to let the Qunari and Tevinter just duke it out with each other - the two most technically advanced societies leaving the rest of the world alone.
I saw people guessing this VA might be Magnus Bruun, the guy who voiced Eivor in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I also read that we're getting a choice of 4 voices again like in Inquisition - 2 men, 2 women.
I absolutely loved everything I saw. Minrathus was so gorgeous and atmospheric, the combat was fluid and I can't wait to see the potential combos we can set up. I'm just so excited.
I've been obsessively watching videos on DA TV all day. I ended up on a conservative channel bitching about DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion). After pointing out how sad it was seeing so many parroting Fox News talking points, I made fun of them for whining about diversity in a game where people have HORNS. It was a good time! lol.
i hate how most of the videos about this game thaat are getting views are grifter channels who have never played dragon age and somehow blaming da4 'failing' for being 'woke'
Going to play as a rogue, and I'm looking to romance either Neve or Emmerich. I am teased by friends aaall the time for being into the dilfs and silver foxes. And NECROMANCY? [swoon]
If my Inquisitor doesn't call Solas out for his crap planning, then Bioware missed a great opportunity. Because my inquisitor is basically the continuation of sarcastic Hawke.
Okay but can we talk about the rook (bird) symbolism? Rooks are associated with bad luck. However, well established rookeries are deemed to bring good fortune, and should the rooks desert it then a calamity is signaled. Let's take good care of our band of misfits 😭
So glad to find a creator not jumping on the hate bandwagon! I personally am so hyped for it, but I know it's going to be VERY different. I do think it will feel great to play, but some people will find it bad because of how different it is to the others in the series - a bit like what happened with Assassins Creed when it went from a stealthy assassin simulator to a basically a RPG in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. Still, so hyped! Rogue will be so fun with being able to switch from Archer to Melee on the fly (a bit like the newer Assassins Creed games,) but I'm excited to see Mage and Warrior gameplay, specialisations and character creator ofc!
Gonna play an elf or quanari, definitely gonna be a mage veil jumper, gotta romance Harding for the first run cause i wanted to romance her so bad in inquisition, and gonna try to save Solas. So excited for this game and cant wait to see character customization and more gameplay of the other classes!!!
I want to romance either Neve or Lucanis, but idk yet who to pick first. As for who I want to play as, it's definitely going to be a rogue crow or a mage (though I am not sure of the options for mages yet). Again, not sure who I'll go for first. Oh and my Rook will probably be an elf for both options. I just love playing as elves, but we'll see.
I’m here for the playthrough of all the games! I can’t play dragon age 2 right now so I’m gonna only get to do origins and inquisition. Lol. So I’ll be tuning in to the stream!
Varric is 52. And I'm angry as hell about his hair. He was a blond/reddish-blond in all previous interations. That color hair does not turn jet black due to age. I can't figure out why they did that. Blond hair darkening is one thing - turning jet black is another. Going gray doesn't mean your blond hair is going to turn black, it means your blond hair will have gray in it. It's the one and only issue I actually have with the game, but it's one I'm irrationally mad about, lol. I'm looking forward to the Day 1 mods that make his hair the proper color. And they need to put his beard back on his chest where it belongs.
@@sonnenblumefrau2048 No, the lighting has nothing to do with it at all. His hair is just straight up black in Veilguard. It's very obviously not a trick of the light. As to the other, it's his beard I was talking about, and I was literally referencing the joke made back in DA2, where Fenris said he figured Varric's beard fell onto his chest.
Ok but Like what were they thinking with the pop up abilities in battle and no quick shortcut bar. So in order to use a spell or an ability I have to open a new UI that pauses the game, select and confirm the skill/spell? That is clunky af and brings me out of the battle constantly. The healing button has hotkeys but the abilities do not in the gameplay. It's concerning....
No wonder Dorian kept complaining in Inquisition....this place looks hella modern in comparison. THEY HAVE NEON SIGNS! We had BEARS!
🤣
Lol he really meant it when he said "The South is so charming and rustic."

Glad to see some positivity around the game! I'm looking forward to playing for sure. Bone Daddy will probably also be my first romance lol
Yes! Bone Daddy for sure!
Thank you for pointing out the water droplet, I didn't even notice it. Now I watched that part a thousand times lol.
Glad I could help! 😂
Never found Solas attractive In Inquistion, I am a Cullen stan im afraid... buut I find Solas super hot in this one, maybe its the bad boy vibe xD
38:23 Tagging my cameo in this video as the water drop sensually rippling down Varric's chest.
Why do the tentacles around Belara look like the tentacles on ghila'nain

Yeah, it'll be two American, two British. The two American ones voiced characters in Cyberpunk 2077.

I hope this time BioWare won't clown and we will get a Tarot deck as merch

@@JordanJumpin Uggh, I agree. It's everywhere and just will not go away!
probably going to either be a shadow dragon or a grey warden first playthrough! probably a warrior but if i can also be ✨magic✨ then all the better
I'm definitely going to need a Bone Daddy romance run lmao! Lucanis has my interest for #1 interest though. He had me in the short story

There should be, considering the choices you can make at the end. My Inquisitor romanced him, and plans to save him.
How is no one talking about how the rage demons look like werewolves now are we gonna face werewolves!
Love your analysis of these games. I am so excited to watch you play the full game!
I absolutely love your reaction, and I am so excited for DATV..
Daddy Varric is Life and if he dies, we riot.
I love thing about this game and I can’t wait to play. I agree if Varric dies we riot. 🤬
Varric looks like he's under cover, like not as many wrinkles as he should, black hair, no chest hair, so not as recognizable!
It's nice to find a channel with something positive to say! New subscriber : )
The ONLY thing I’m bummed about is that your companions aren’t playable this time around 😢
Okay but can we talk about the rook (bird) symbolism?

The lack of subtitles in the trailer is annoying.
I’m sure you can switch the TH-cam subtitles on if you really wanted to

Most likely the lighting, and he does have his chest hair. Again, lighting.

Dwarf Warrior and will go for Scout Harding obviously haha

I don’t think we’ve seen all of it yet and I’m sure it’s going to look different on pc
I certainly hope
I want to know if gamestop is going to do an early release
