This is how Obsidian sounds like? Because I'm not disappointed.
It sounds just like it feels - well developed and sharp.
the end is arriving

And so, Obsidian finally takes the stage!!
After 2 years of waiting and fixt bullshit,we finally are getting Obsidian.This track proves how great the album will be.
Theory time
Obsidian will contain 3 more songs going through the stages of grief after the loss of Bret's mother. Obviously not in order, but beginning with Death Will Have To Run (Anger) and sustained by Prognosis (Depression, maybe), it will continue on Obsidian with tracks about Denial, Bargaining (unless you think Anchor was about that, but I'm doubtful since that was about Bret being sick and singing to Priya, rather than about his mother and what she went through), and Acceptance.
Blue Stahli is like a fine wine, the older he is the better he gets!
I love this so much. How does this sound so fresh and so much like what we already know from Bret? The lyrics and vocals are absolutely perfect. So much emotion and depth.
I'm crying. The way the bass hits after the guitar in the hook is too much for me. HOLY JESUS CHRIST IT SHAKES MY BONES

Yes, a soundtrack called « Upgrade » was made by Blue Stahli and 2 other people.
Actually, he was also on Twisted Metal for PS3. Thats where i learned about him. So glad i did. They used his "Give Me Everything You Got" on their trailer. This man has been on major leagues long ago. Im so excited for him.

Too bad the game ended up being such a shitshow, at least for now... Still awesome he got some songs into a big triple A game tho.

When I found Stahli a few yrs back, I recognized "Anti You" from somewhere. One of their more popular past tracks maybe. Love everything I've heard of them since..and also Klayton / Celldweller who collabs with them here and there is fully worth checking out. ;)

I never thought I'd see these two favorite artists of mine compared in any way but you might be onto something...
I expected nothing less from Obsidian. It's probably going to be my favorite in the Trilogy. Fresh and heavy! I love it! Your production sounds more alive and crushing than ever!
The intro/refrain riff reminds me of Mick Gordon's style in Doom Eternal somewhat, in a very good way. Cool music, keep it up!

Devouring the Dead Channel trilogy as each new album lands has been such a treat! Both Quartz and Copper surprised and delighted me with how different they felt from what came before, and I just love how you're not afraid to constantly experiment with different sounds. I'm so excited to hear how Obsidian will sound like! The cyberpunk sound has been some of my favorite stuff so far!

in fact i think it would be cool if at the ends he combines the full albums of quartz copper and obsidian into one long video because when it finally finishes i want to listen to the whole trilogy from start to finish completely uninterrupted

His different stuff that doesn’t include guitars might be even better, though. All is good tbh.

Yeah, same. The album was good, but not the kind that I'd listen to. But I freaking loved Quartz, so I wasn't totally disappointed by Copper, since it came out so soon after Quartz.
@@atomsmasher703 As a student, Copper is the perfect mix between metal and the calmness required to work, really loved it! But yeah, different style, it all comes down to personnal preferences
This is the one i’ve been most anticipating, I prefer the harder metal songs, which i’m hoping and assuming this album will probably be 💙

That's one hell of a genius masterpiece. I loved blue stahli and the devil both of them are awesome. If it's true that you had or have this troubles with FiXt and Klayton I wish and hope you the best of luck. Don't look back and don't let them demotivate you. You are fucking awesome and a real genius. I can hear and feel every heartbeat and emotion in every tone. Please keep it up and I hope the troubles will be gone soon.
