Tony Jaa is awesome. I watched this movie 8 years ago for the first time. Then I immediately bought the DVD. This movie's got everything, action, thrill, humor, interesting plot. For those martial art freaks out there like myself, do not miss this movie! ;)
One of the most awesome movies ever, let alone portraying the wonderful art of Muay Thai Kickboxing! Oh, and the chase scenes (especially the prolonged one on foot) are reminiscent of the 1979 Walter Hill gang warfare movie "The Warriors."
This movie has the absolute best end boss I have ever seen. A guy in a wheel chair smoking out of the hole in his throat wins every time. How could you not be intimidated by that laugh?
I remember watching this movie for the first time and I was blown away by all the amazing action scene that this movie contains nobody can't be a fan of kung fu and not watches this movie he is a total Legend
@@kokobawp8865 yes this movie is muay thai and that is the reason im gonna watch it, muay thai is one of my favorite martial arts, and tony jaa is really good muay thai actor
1:14 I remember losing my absolute s**t when Tony Jaa landed this knee on the biker, and the helmet split!! lol This is definitely one of those flicks people will talk about forever. It will never get old. XD
I love this movie!! I found this movie by accident on HBO, or one of those movie channels. After watching this movie I was hooked!! Tony Jaa is a total Hunk!! (do they still use this term?) I saw the other two as they cam out and I have not been disappointed!! I just might watch them again today!!!!
I could honestly say this is a very good martial arts movie, and could be top 5 in movies that are about fighting action. I give this movie a 9.5 out 10
I still remember the first time I watched this movie ,on My telivision on HBO hehehe ,I was very small back then and after watching him mediate and stuffs ,I used to try to mediate thinking I will be able to fight like him 🤣
This is the my 1st thai movie I ever watched when I was a kid. Now I'm 17 and still we my family talk bout this movie and bout this actor. Last night I watched monster hunter and here I am to enjoy this trailer again after 10 years.
@RighteousMurderer The DVD to which this refers contains both an English dub and a version in Thai with English subtitles. You simply pick the one you want from the menu options.
only heard of this guy the other month, nice to see a young jackie chan type and i love the muay thai its awesome, i havent watched this movie yet but i think i will right now, only problem is i cant seem to find a subtitle'd version, only a dubbed one and that slightly ruins it for me.. would much prefer sub over dub
He's a superhero that lives on the internet, has access to and can control any computer connected to the internet and is responsible for the balance in the distribution of IP addresses.
Yup :)...on last film of IP man ,last minuts of movies are when small kido :D...come to Ip man lets say office and he ask for wing chu to learn but IP man told him to come when he has 14 i think :P...god movies i watch all of them couple times and ofc all Bruce Lees movies :D
@emachines390 I had this mixed up as well... I thought the protector was ong bak 1 and when I saw ong back 2 and 3 they have nothing to do with the elephant one.. now i am confused I think I really havent seen ong bak1
@GuessWhatIsMyName And also they could practice without hurting the opponent and themselves too much, which means that muay thai fighters can train and train, and fight and fight, and keep learning and improving their perception of the fight, of the distance, and of their technique.. M.T. fighters don´t waste their time with moves that won´t work, and M.B. couldn´t know which will and which won´t work because they can´t train for real...
That's at least Bruces claim, he could never back that up with any practical experience. Muay Thai has hundreds of years of both personal and military service. Muay Thai is extremely effective because unlike the vast majority of 'traditional' martial arts students spar very frequently. Experience, thinking on your feet and practical technique is what gives Muay Thai a massive advantage over all other striking combat styles. Name any significant fighter of the 21st century who uses Jeet Kune Do
