I love Bullet To the Heart as a song, I love the whole MV but what I love even more is message behind. Jackson opening to the audience and sharing his struggles, the pain of being a puppet in his Passion's hands. While he's suffering, he enjoys it because at least he's following his heart and does what he loves. I respect Jackson so much. It's not easy to open like that, with your mental health problems and issues. With showing not only bright side of being an Artist, but also dark one, full of pain. He's one of my biggest inspirations, and I believe this album of his, will be a masterpiece. Art. Truly amazing piece of craft.
I love this song and this mv, I’ve seen it so many times already (inc. other reactors watching it) and I still didn’t notice the lighting thing or wind on Jackson until you said something; it is very artistic and I think it being short adds to its beauty because it left me wanting more, which makes us look at his other songs. (Helping his global takeover 👀) Something else I noticed which wasn’t brought up here, he’s wearing a straight jacket in the beginning, but she rips it off him and it’s not on him in the end, yet he’s in the same position. Honestly I was completely blown away by this music video and song. His other songs were very Hip Hop heavy for me, but this was absolutely incredible. I saw this as Jackson being in the straighjacket the whole time but that the "darkness" was what was going on in his mind. She/it is controlling his mind and body. Even if he were free from his retraints, he would still be trapped. Basically imprisonment of the mind and soul is so powerful that it can paralize and trap is totally.

I think the light and dark contrast his mind. In the beginning, you see him as he sees her, his tormentor. She comes and goes, she flickers in and out, she is there and he can see and sense her but no one else really can. It is still light because he has some hope either towards her or towards escaping the pain she gives him. She is playing with him. Her moves are beautiful, she is enchanting when she manipulates him. He loves it, but hates it and is resigned and she begins to gain more and more power. But when you see the complete darkness invade, you realize you are completely in his mind. She has completely taken over and surrounded him even though he does have his own freedom to move he is completely trapped. The ending scene is the actual world and what this has physicallydone to him. He is in a well lit room, but he himself is gone, he is trapped in the darkness of her and his mind.

The song can be interpreted as how a person you love is different from what you depicted him/her to be, and how that love can manipulate you. But it can also be about other things, like how people have problems and obstacles in life. The girl in the video represents those problems and how those problems hold you and your emotions. The straight jacket though is about what jackson feels and him having depression. Depression is like being confined in that jacket. So the song has actually lots of meaning in it.

The thing I like the most, other than the things that PD mentioned, is the veil/dress piece drapped across her face. It's kind of like the wind, always hitting her being chaotic, but it hides her identity making the place that the darkness comes from not be identifiable. Not every bad thing that happens to people has a source that can be easily pinpointed, not everything is back and white, so I really love that they used the viel/dress piece to portray that.
I loved this song and mv when I first watched and listened too, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. You pretty much nailed all the things! It's emotional, creepy, sad, veeeery cool. I loved her dementor qualities, and I didn't even notice the lighting changes! I just noticed the second time you played it through that she pulled off his straight jacket, but at the end when she's gone, he's back in it. So crazy. And you're right, his voice quality does tug at your heart with this song.

I have this song on repeat and the MV was really captivating as well! I study psycholofy and this mental ward-like concept is something I can somehow connect to. The song can be interpreted as how a person you love is different from what you depicted him/her to be, and how that love can manipulate you. But it can also be about other things, like how people have problems and obstacles in life. The girl in the video represents those problems and how those problems hold you and your emotions. The straight jacket though is about what jackson feels and him having depression. Depression is like being confined in that jacket. So the song has actually lots of meaning in it.

This is honestly my fav song from jackson. The song, the voice n mv really hits the spot. Apparently we just found out from a recent interview, that this song n mv is a portray of his fight against depression. I hope he will get the success he has works hard for. I have been waiting for you react to Jackson's BTTH as it's been 2 weeks. Learned a lot from your comments on the MV most detail. The MV is a work of art that holds your attention till the end and did not notice the lyrics until the second run. Most proud of him.
His raspy singing voice......makes him so different from other artist.....and I've heard vocal coaches talk about how he could soften up his singing voice and tbh that raspy-ness is what makes him stand out and i hope he never changes that

The thing I like the most, other than the things that PD mentioned, is the veil/dress piece drapped across her face. It's kind of like the wind, always hitting her being chaotic, but it hides her identity making the place that the darkness comes from not be identifiable. Not every bad thing that happens to people has a source that can be easily pinpointed, not everything is back and white, so I really love that they used the viel/dress piece to portray that.
I loved this song and mv when I first watched and listened too, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. You pretty much nailed all the things! It's emotional, creepy, sad, veeeery cool. I loved her dementor qualities, and I didn't even notice the lighting changes! I just noticed the second time you played it through that she pulled off his straight jacket, but at the end when she's gone, he's back in it. So crazy. And you're right, his voice quality does tug at your heart with this song.
Finally! I listening this song since the moment it came out ;) And this video is such a masterpiece! Better than most of horror movies that i've seen! Happy to share it with other :)
