Those two versions are litteraly different in this way. The backroung voice on the other hand as I heard from others is made by Hobi :)

Hobi sang the Sub Harmonies/Bass in Spring Day, if you listen closely you can hear him through the whole Song. He is credited in a lot of Songs as sub Vocalist, but people often overlook and don't pay attention to him in the Recordings, because they are not used to him singing. Hobi sang a ton of BTS Albums, he has a really nice soft warm lower register. He also sang Bass when he and Jin did a Cover of a Spanish Christmas Song, in the Harmonies you can actually hear how low he gets. Hobi also does those Notes live during Spring Day, and the Part of Young Forever you liked, he sounds the same Live too.
Seo taiji asked bts to do his anniversary concert with him. Later he asked bts to remake come back home because he said it was their time now. He was passing the torch to them because he said they were continuing what he started: speaking on similar topics like society and class system etc.
I appreciate reactors like Esosa so much for paying attention to the little things and making us notice things we've never noticed before. Also, thanks for that Namjoon slow mo in blood, sweat and tears Lol.
The entirety of spring day background vocals is HOBI. People forget the magic he put into spring day. His vocals are just top notch Sometimes I listen to the bg vocals version to torture myself more. ( th-cam.com/video/4bDFlcndA6E/w-d-xo.html ) Queen who hasn't left the charts since the day she was released
Seo Taeji himself literally saying the words I’m passing the torch to BTS on the precipice of BTS exploding to international prosperity and popularity was literally the final thing they needed to achieve in Korea before dominating the world. After that moment it didn’t matter how the Korean industry continued to mistreat them, the essential creator of the genre HIMSELF said BTS is the future and little did we all know what they’d accomplish just a few months later 😭
Kpop isn't genre it's an Industry Seo Taji led that legacy in the hands of BTS! Because he saw what they are gonna do in future! Now whole Music Industry is dominated by them! 💜
The thing about BTS is, no matter what happened they always stuck together. Many industry people have talked about this before, but even when BTS was promoting in the US back in 2017-2018, they would get invited to after parties for award shows etc. But they never went to any of that. They would attend the award shows, come back to their hotel rooms and do a livestream with ARMYs to celebrate. Even when bad things happened (the series of events from 2015 to 2018 comes to mind) , they always trusted each other and kept moving forward. They knew what to focus on - their music, their fans and themselves. They were never distracted by the chaos around them because they were so centered on themselves if that makes sense. And they still are! That's what amazes me about them. To this day, they are so humble and grounded. What's even more surprising is, it's not just one or two of them. All seven of them are like that. How is that even possible lol? That's one of the reasons why I keep coming back for more. It's hard NOT to love them.
Petition to Özlem to show their Mama 2016 performance (Intro Boy meets evil+ Lie, BST and Fire in full). Everything about that performance is just iconic, incredible, masterpiece.
Esosa - I’ve never seen someone look so gorgeous while crying 🥺 You guys are quickly becoming my fave reactors. Women in STEM 💪🏼😂 Thanks for the content. Much ARMY love to you both💜💜
Possibly the most real reaction to Spring Day I've ever seen. When I've not heard it for a while, it does the same to me... the melody, the hidden underlying riffs, the vocals, the lyrics, the meaning..
BTW, The background voice you were asking about is Hobi! You can see him singing a lot on their live performances of Spring Day and it is always amazing. Esosa always pointing out Hobi's vocals is kinda funny to me but I'm so here for it.
I’m really glad Esosa said what she said about being an Army. It is more just than liking some of their songs or finding them hot. It’s about feeling like you know who they are and know what they are about. It’s being interested in how they are with each other and then knowing they are truly good amazing people. It’s more than just the music or visuals or performance level. Once you truly get to know them it’s hard not to be OT7 with biases obviously...but you appreciate each and everyone. The only way to get to know them is to watch their reality shows and variety shows. I hope you will get a chance to let her discover their personalities and the people behind the visuals, the vocals and the rapping! Enjoy your journey!
35:05 It's interesting that you, Esosa, had that "wow" reaction to the clip of Jin running because that one second was litterally the only Jin-focused clip in the whole mv. Back then Big Hit had a tendency to down-play Jin and this mv really enraged Jin-biased fans to the point that they ran an ad campaign outside Big Hit's headquarter. Since then Big Hit has paid more attention to giving all the members their time in the spotlight. So you could say that that one second had a big impact on Big Hit's thinking. 💜
Now why on earth would you apologize for hour long videos?? I LOVE IT 😂😂 I usually just eat dinner while watching but even if I didn’t I would still be all for hour long reactions to BTS
oh and fun fact about come back home! its a cover of come back home by seo taiji made in the 1990's which come back home was actually made for children who ran away from their homes because there were problems with teens running away from their homes at the time, seo taiji being one of them :)
The backround is singing Hobi (J-hope). But also on live version he is singing beginning part from Namjoon before he starts rapping. Love your reaction.
I think background vocals in Spring Day are mainly by Hobi, he does a lot of background vocals in BTS songs. Comeback Home is so under appreciated, I remember when it came out I was OBSESSED! What Özlem said about Not Today being their final push is so true, it made me a little teary eyed… also, them being so humble is the reason I love them so much, when I’m watching a Live on Weverse or Run BTS it feels like you’re just hanging out with friends 💜
I totally agree - BTS songs have so many layers and MUST be listened to on a good quality headset. And I think their reflection on their career is shown in Proof.
Women in stem Spring day truly is one of my favorite ever, like the "you know it all you're my best friend" part is so beautiful, the change in production and tae's voice, just my ultimate weakness (if you seen the class of 2020 video it's so cute when Tae and Jin sing it)
When you ‘understand’ Spring Day…she stays with you forever..like a tattoo..on your heart..there will be no other song with this kind of effect ever again
SCIENCE. About music memories >>> In his talk-show Suchwita, Yoongi said to his guest Hoshi : "I think being a singer is about selling memories (Singers are people who sell memories). Of course we perform music too. The only way we can travel back into our memories for a brief moment like a time machine is through music."
Esosa, I cannot wait till you listen to House of Cards and Tomorrow . BTS has amazing albums. Excited to see your reaction. Its been forever and so refreshing to see someone discover them with an actual want to understand it. Not just a reaction. Loving this 💜 I walked with them from debut and I am so proud of them. When they started, everyone wasn't very good to them.
I love how BTS is making you guys go down memory lane in your friendship. It just feels so full circle that you're both reminiscing on your early days as youtubers ALSO during their early days as well
Spring Day is still their best music video so far, in my opinion, hands down. The song itself is too arguably their best one... like, I love many of their songs and could make a list of at least top-20, but if I had a gun pointed at me and had to pick just one, I would pick Spring Day without thinking. I think songs like this are timeless. I love the meaning, I love that we can interpret it the way we feel it's resonating with us. We all felt that at some point in our lives, I guess. I don't listen to the newest BTS music much, because a lot of the time their new sound sometimes changes to a direction that is not exactly my cup of tea, and I also rarely listened to their old stuff for the past two years maybe because I listened to other groups and mainly not k-pop, but I always remember Spring Day at times when I need it most. I still remember their comeback with this song and MV, I was obsessed, it touched my heart so much.
I recommend watching the performance for Come Back Home on your own time! Their energy is incredible and Seokjin's intro in the song always gives me goosebumps
There's an explanation video to Spring Day, a scene breakdown & the symbolism behind highlighting the Sewol ferry tragedy - please this song just becomes that much more special - you have to watch ittt 😭😭💜
Esosa “this is why Science is so important” 😂 😂 But on a serious note, Spring Day always hits hard 😭 Thanks for another amazing reaction. I’m sad counting down to the end of this series 💜
Spring day has that vibe that no song can copy..it has that sad but also comforting and its also uplifting and also you can vibe with it at the same time..spring day issa vibe
yes hobi is the sole sub vocalist of spring day but the part mentioned by her is taken directly from RM's guide for spring day as he is the actual lyricist and producer of Spring Day and Truth Untold...
Spring Day is just that one song that wrenches your heart every time you listen to it. Even if it's your first time listening to it, you feel a sense of nostalgia. Great reaction girls! Honestly, one of my fav reaction series. Will be awaiting for day seven!
Come back home is more a remake than a cover since they added new lyrics and stuff. I like the original one by seo taiji and boys and Hobi doing seo taiji’s part is just perfect
Spring day always make me cry since day 1 🫠🫠 And girl, it’s okay to speak in your language also, especially if you want to express your opinions to us more in details ❣️❣️ And the seo taeji x BTS , chef kiss
Thank you for going through these old classics. Hobi’s announcement yesterday made me nostalgic. There are lots of good K-pop groups but BTS are on another level. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
OMG!!!! I LIVE for your reaction. The frame by frame was epic lol. And Esosa your reaction to Spring day is exactly like mine was after I understood the meaning behind it💜💜💜💜
Esosa, what you speak about when you experience music makes sense. Really it does. When I close my eyes and listen to music I often see colors with the sounds (synesthesia). When one has a physical and emotional experience with music, it does reach deep and imprint someplace in one's heart/soul. What a great thing to have in your life.
Regarding the tribute: I feel like that’s what the song Yet to Come was. It was BTSs tribute to their past. In the video, there are scenes from past videos
my favourite live performance of spring day is from the 2020 iHeart radio music festival. The vocals as well as the sound mixing is insane in that performance, just truly beautiful.
27:00 BTS doesn't get nearly enough credit for their production quality. Other producers (I'm looking at you, JYP & Teddy), Westerners included, could learn a lot from Big Hit about layering & EQ'ing vocals. For recording the background layers, J-Hope did most of the lower harmonies & JK the ad-libs. Also, some of the vocal parts on, "Spring Day," are distributed differently when they perform the song live. It's a testament to their ability to make their songs sound as good (or better), live as on a recording.
BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS made me an army boy in 2016 when i was just 12 🥺 - This song made me recognise true ART of music , Now after 7 yrs , its still my favourite song , nothing beats that song man , absolutely nothing
About what Esosa said - "being an army is so much more than listening to their music" - I don't think that's necessarily true. I became an ARMY because of their music. Yes, I also resonated with their story and their struggles, but I didn't get to know about it until at least six months into my being an ARMY. For the first six months, I was just vibing to their music, watching funny compilations on TH-cam and just enjoying their presence. Even before I got to know their "come up story", I found them endlessly fun to watch and listen. Then, I got to know what they went through and that just amplified my love for them. They are truly once in a lifetime artists.
Except it’s true for me. Everyone has their own criteria and for me just listening to the music doesn’t necessarily put me in the fandom. Otherwise the amount of fandoms I’d be part of based on just listening to music is huge but I know I’m not that involved. For me the music is most important but to call myself by the fandom name I must participate in fandom activities that extend past the music. Since I’m not doing that, I can’t call myself that. Everyone can do what they want tho, it’s just how I feel on the matter.
@@DifferentlyAlike oh no that's not what I meant. I listen to a lot of artists too, but I wouldn't consider myself a fan of said artist unless I really REALLY liked their music. I was referring to your comment about "understanding the hurt and pain they went through". What I was trying to say was, I didn't need to know their backstory and their struggles to turn me into a fan. Their music and their personalities was enough for me. But you're right. Everyone connects to music in their own way. I didn't mean to imply your way is the same as my way 🤗
Another great one! I am loving this series sooo much!!! Esosa, what you said about how you enjoy/feel music was sooo absolutely relatable. Especially talking about the context of sometimes hearing backstory and meaning makes the song have a different feeling for you the next time etc. I feel music so much in my very being and that is why I definitely have a lot of very specific favorite songs because of how they make me feel. Borahae!
The German phrase in BS&T is from Friedrich Nietzsche: “Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können." And it means: You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star. just found you two here and I love your reactions. And music is never...I repeat....NEVER trivial or insignificant or JUST ;)
Too much science 🤣🤣🤣 omg… the slow-mo.. bring a new dimension to the video!! Damn!!! Ok we not even 2 mins in. Haven’t gotten into the reason I wanted to watch your reaction!
Getting to watch the Spring Day MV again after a few months...it always make me cry. I still feel sad seeing the mountain of clothes knowing it alludes to the young people who lost their lives. It triggers the part of me who lost a loved one, grief never goes away.
If you get the chance to watch the Tiny Desk Concert live version of Spring Day you get to see who is doing what vocally much easier. Also that performance was one of my favourites when it comes to hearing the vocals. As always you’re reaction videos are amazing! Know that I am here cheering you on 💜💜
Have you read about the story behind Spring Day MV? It’s linked to the Sewol Ferry Accident in South Korea and BTS wants this MV to contribute for all the victims ❤
Spring day hits so much harder when you know the story behind it it's so sad and i'm so glad bts made it..it is literally "the queen of kpop" and still charting on melon charts in korea
Aww she's getting emotional so fast 🥺💔❤️❤️❤️💜💜 Their lyricism easily hits us!! Well another fact is that.. We also get into the mv but I'm sure that most of ARMY will be easily distracted to the behind the scenes of the MV s😂 Spring day is soo touching but I was thinking about the background video 😂 then I noticed she was crying 🤐 💜come back home live performance is 🔥🔥you should watch it too🌚 💜HAPPY TO SEE YOU GUYS ENJOYING AND LOVING AND FINDING THINGS AND SHARING THINGS 💜Keep Going💜Saranghee💜Waiting for Day 7💜

Queen Spring Day💜🪻 such a beautiful song, was waiting for Esosa's reaction to this! 💜
Blood Sweat and Tears is just pure temptation
Regarding the tribute: I feel like that’s what the song Yet to Come was. It was BTSs tribute to their past. In the video, there are scenes from past videos
Not today is one of my favorites: MV, choreo, lyric wise. Is my go to song when I feel down and it gets me back in a split secod.
how good it is - to experience it again with you! THX
my favourite live performance of spring day is from the 2020 iHeart radio music festival.
29:17 that's j-hope. He did some of the backup vocals for this song.
BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS made me an army boy in 2016 when i was just 12 🥺 - This song made me recognise true ART of music , Now after 7 yrs , its still my favourite song , nothing beats that song man , absolutely nothing
Backvocal in spring day is hobi. Also he sings namjoon's part at the beginning and in the middle live. In recording version hobi is missing
Welcome to the rabbit hole. We all went through the same way as you. I feel like the first time I discovered BTS through your eyes.
I didn't mean to imply your way is the same as my way 🤗
For come back home theres a great live Performance WITH seo taji, and it is so good. It was für the seo taji and friends anniversary.
Borahae!
Spring day LIVE IS A MUST !!
yes jhope is the most expressive
How am I supposed to guess her bias when she goes crazy over EVERY MEMBER ?!! lol I love her tho
All the performances in the seo taji concert are worth to react would love to see it💜
Hobi is the background vocals for springday💜
Solo faltó decir que spring day es la canción más exitosa, la más vendida por un grupo en Corea del sur 😊
The German phrase in BS&T is from Friedrich Nietzsche: “Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können." And it means: You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star. just found you two here and I love your reactions. And music is never...I repeat....NEVER trivial or insignificant or JUST ;)
Guys you cannot do this 😭🥺🥺🥺 23:42 I ALWAYS cry when I hear and See this, but this time I felt not alone. This song is Everything! Sending love 💜💜💜
Ozlem, please make Esosa listen to their B-sides as well, because those are sooooo good too.
ngl rereading spring day lyrics made me cry and now i miss bts ot7 even more
If you get the chance to watch the Tiny Desk Concert live version of Spring Day you get to see who is doing what vocally much easier. Also that performance was one of my favourites when it comes to hearing the vocals. As always you’re reaction videos are amazing! Know that I am here cheering you on 💜💜
i feel Esosa is gonna be rapline bias 👀 love to see it! i'm loving your reactions. 💜
Esosa is what we all were at the start; Baby Army!!
I Watch many many time already but never see what you guys make me see ..the mv was already on top now is just over top😅
You guys should have done the live version of Come Back Home, the performance is crazy
I again can’t stress this enough liking the video once is not enough!
