Looks like a nice little truck! Team associated has been putting out great stuff for yrs! Still remember back many yrs ago when my old high-school buddy got an RC 10, he was the king of the neighborhood at the time, was a cool rc and still is for it's age!!!
I know you said a few classes are starting up but it makes me wonder if more tracks will go to shortwheeled based 2wd shortcourse trucks out local city track 1/8th scale track still runs 4x4 shortcorse and 1/8th scale buggy is getting more popular to havent been to the races in a while but maybe ill go soon and check it out to see what classes are still going on.
I have a hard time supporting all these cheap pop-up classes of RC. How much do you really save by getting something that has no support outside of associated.
I still don’t entirely understand why this needs to exist at the same time as proper 1/10 sct’s it’s a tiny bit cheaper, sure, but with less potential, less eligibility, and it’s another vehicle possibly taking away from Associated making a proper 1/10 rear motor stadium truck. If I want to race a 1/10 buggy platform I’ll just race a 1/10 buggy.
It's a nice starter truck however the price isn't a staring car price a pack with the car, battery and charger is $415.99 in the site you linked so definitely a deterring factor for new to the rc hobby and for this price better ones avalaiable... and it's cabalities not really prove this high price if it was a traxxas for this mnoey and performance peoples would laugh at it.
@@buysncharge For the price which it costs now not a good buy in this setup it has like not even close it's more expensive than traxxas and we all know traxxas is overpriced what it gives you and this gives less for more i never wrote second rate... but for this price better ones avaliable...
that was the basis of the original Slash 2wd: simple, fun, affordable, practically indestructible.
You could honestly argue that it still delivers even if the design is REALLY old
When I was a kid back in the 80's, Team Associated was one of the best around. Always wanted one of their vehicles.

LT10 vs SC10 what is the difference between??
Gotta Love good ol' Team Associated.
The Chassis looks like the 1/10 AMP MT 2WD Monster Truck RTR P/N ECX - ECX03028. Good review of the RC.
Hay I wanted to thank you I got the new transmission you did on a traxxas love it I also upgrade the motor to a castle again thank you
cool new look, RC with great adventure, always good videos bro👍👍😃
Nice truck, chassis reminded of the SC10B. Another solid review RcDriver great job bud.
Like button energized. Good stuff Greg.
Fun times my friend! Thanks for checking in!
Pretty cool looking.
I like stock, simple 2wd’s. At my chapter in life l (and the kids) just want to plug in and go. This’ll do just fine.
Looks to be similar in dimensions when Losi tried the Heavy Metal Truck conversion for the XX-4 that sadly didn't really take off back then.
Nice Run 😍
Der Asso ist schon nice 😍👍🏻🔥
Looks like fun! It would rip on my backyard track.
You have a backyard track? Jealous!
@@rcdriver oh yeah I’m lucky to have it! We run 10th and 14th scale which is lots of fun but I bet this would fit right in being sized between those.
Looks like an HPI Blitz chassis and bumper front and rear mounted to Traxxas o-ring
shock absorbers

If this represents the realm of RC car you are interested in just by a slash

Could this be converted to a stadium truck?
So this essentially is a rb and sr10 chassis?
Is this chassis like the old rc10 b4.2 chassis?
The rtr associated controller is out dated and does not put out 7.4 volts for even a little decent steering.
could you let us know what wheelbase and width this is, at least sit it next to a normal sc truck would of been good
Cool 😎
$350 though?? That's not really acceptable. The Pro4 brushless is only $340 and handles better, is faster, and similar features. Idk about this one
So why can’t you use the bmx track you used to run at??
They banned RC cars officially after some RC guys trashed the track.
@@rcdriverwhat an absolute crime always one bad apple ruins it
@rcdriver they XRT chewed it up? Lame.
What state are you located in?
Confusion

Team Associated is nice product. It's not second rate. I've always been impressed with their products in the past.

@maszkalman3676 Like the losi maybe?
@@buysncharge Yep losi is quite good in power also in the close price range.
We need licensed bodies from these rc brand companies yall can do better for us rc enthusiasts
TEAM ASSOCIATED CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! GL
Rwd? No thx
