- I took a walk to my local comic shop Comic Station to raid their dollar bins. Thanks to Tina I had a $100 gift card to spend so I had a $100 budget to hunt with.

Great pick ups. Yesterday I struck gold cause I got The first app of Gambit, mr.sinister,Omega Red,Killer Frost,frog from the Thor series,and Black Heart for $5.00 each now that was a steal.

Pop comics I suggest you do what streamers do they film an hour stream, then cut it into sections to post. You get more content from the same 1 hour and more viewers.
Yup this is a live stream from my walking channel I cut into a video for the comic channel. I have started doing that more often, but I am actually making longer videos not sorter because the longer ones seems to do better in the algorithm

You passed up some cool books. Darker Image #1 is the first appearance of the Max.
Near mint raw copies Spawn #1 goes for no less than $35 and at the most $65 here in California.
Just because a comic is common does not mean it doesn't have any value. Especially when you can sell them for at least 5 times their value.
At least you picked up that Camelot 3000.
I see Darker Image 1 all the time, it really does not sell that well maybe $3 My Comic Shop has a bunch of vf copies for $2.50.
@@pop-comics Here in Cali Darker Image polybagged with card near mint copies sell for at least $5 to $10.Its the same with X-Force #1. XForce #1 polybagged with a Deadpool card goes for $15 to $20.If your paying a Dollar its always worth it to check to see if the X- Force #1 comics in dollar bins has a Deadpool card.
You should also check if those WildCat #1 were newsstand copies. They can sell for $15 to $25 for a NM copy.
I watch enough of your channel over the past few years to realize that your taste in comics is different from most average collectors. And you also run a store and sell comics on the cheap because you buy them from people on the ultra cheap.
In your personal collection you probably own many well known runs of popular titles. Like you stated in this video you tend to pick up books you feel should have more attention or you like because they have cool covers of artists you like. So I get that you dont care about the value of comics for your personal collection. Even though I've seen you spend thousands of dollars on comic books the past few years.
I enjoy watching most of your comic pick up videos. This is my first time commenting on your channel. I've been a subscriber since 2020 . You opened my eyes to comics I never considered collecting or reading. But this video made me facepalm myself out frustration as I saw you pass up so many good books to pick up a lot books no one cares to buy even at a dollar. Yeah I knew you were on a $100 budget. But a 100 bucks is a lot of money if you are dollar bin diving. In this video that was one of the best selections of dollar bin books in a comic shop I've seen before the 2020 speculator boom.
I've been collecting comics for over 30 yrs. It just shocked me to see a comic book collector pass up so many good books in dollar bins. Its probably just me. I am not hating on you. You buy what you like.
@@Damackism In new york you find those books in every dollar bin they are so common that they dont sell easily. I probably own 100 X-Force 1 and 40 Darker Image 1 I am just not interested in hoarding more and they have a hard time selling even for $1
I do always check for the deadpool card but thats usually picked out.
Also I have a NM copy of Spawn 1 in my shop for $25 when It sells I will add another but its been there 6 months. I think I have 50 at least maybe more.

Yeah the best free find I got I found it the garbage dumpster in between a bunch of national geographics was a Batman issue 240 with a cut out of the first three pages with a thumbprint cut

Only grade something is if I had the direct and the newsstand of the same comic I would create the new standing keep the direct so I can read it so you have a reader and I graded one
I dont grade my self but I do end up collecting both versions for my runs when I find them.

Yeah Heavy Metal is awesome, I pick them up every time I see them cheap. They have them at $20 there so I dont really buy them there, but occasionally they have some cheap.

Pops are selling slow so its grind time, trust me every penny will go into comics. So for now I will by $5-$25 books out of dollar bins, it still adds up to value.
Also love Batman 227 already own it. I own 1000s of key issues just never filmed them for the channel lol
