My itinerary today (summarized):
From Moalboal Ceres bus stop to Bato, where I transferred bus to Oslob. This leg is about 3 hours.
From Oslob Whale Shark briefing center to Tumalog Falls is about 15 minutes by motorbike.
From the entrance to Tumalog Falls to Liloan Port at South Cebu is about a 25 minute bus ride & you can just pay as you get on the bus.
From Liloan Port to Dumaguete Sibulan Port is about 40 minutes.
From the Port to my hostel I was charged 100 PHP which is actually considered expensive, Should be around 30-40 PHP.

After researching & experiencing swimming with whale sharks myself, I have to say it is very difficult to recommend this activity. While the whale sharks are absolutely breathtaking, I think the overpacking of tourists proves problematic. It is clear though that Oslob have taken tremendous steps to create a better environment for the sharks.

Whether or not you swim with whale sharks in Cebu, I still recommend coming to Oslob to explore its beautiful nature surroundings! Tumalog Falls was GORGEOUS and a MUST :)

I am happy you are seeing and getting why I LOVE the Philippines. The people are so nice and friendly unlike any other place in the world. Glad you are going to some of the smaller places to get a feel or the province areas my favorite places. You can do the 59 day visas or you can do the 6 month visas to stay there. The mega drastic movie is if you married a Filipino and you both leave and come back at the same time you get a free 1 year visa but you must enter with your spouse and have a copy of your marriage certificate to get your free 1 year visa. But you are too young for all that yet. ;)
If you're a resident or citizen of any country in Southeast Asia, travel to Philippines or across the 10-nation ASEAN, requires no visa at all.

I just had a whole vlog marathon of your adventures in the Philippines, your content is so good and your lively positive attitude in every video made me hit the subscribe button! I'm from the Philippines and currently working in Taiwan, and I am so stoked with your food here except tofu which I honestly am a little apprehensive trying them because of its smell and texture. However, after watching your vlog about different ways of eating tofu, it got me thinking maybe it's not bad at all. Thanks for the unbiased experience of swimming with whale sharks, providing information, and then giving your honest thoughts afterwards! I'd love to see more travel vloggers/bloggers/photographers etc. doing that. I'm hoping in the next few years to research ecotourism (everywhere but especially in developing countries) and how to keep wildlife and wild areas protected while still providing good economic growth for local communities. I'll put Cebu on my list!

Wowww,you visit my hometown again!!!!It's too bad im not there im stuck here in LA.lol...Well anyway,you can take Ceres Bus(yellow color) straight from Moalboal to Bato.If your not sure, just ask the conductor you want to stop to Maayu Shipping lines going to Sibulan.Once you arrived at Sibulan port you just ride a jeepney going to Dumaguete.

I def agree! when we were there, I was like tryint to picture out how they took so great photos. I realized the struggle was so real to take great shot. a lot of other divers behind all trying to capture shot. it was crazy but worth it, I think.

The Philippines is a must visit country. Thanks for this vlog TJ it feels like I am also in the Philippines too seeing you and your friends happy with all of your adventures there. Try Baguio City if you want to try a bit colder temperature and also try to visit Mt. Samat of Bataan because that place is full of historical features during the World War II just like in Vietnam. 😘👍🏻❤️
