We were also talking of doing what they did at that hotel. Making nice bungalows (with solar and fast internet) and catering to foreigners. Many are a bit nervous about visiting the Philippines. As you mentioned though, the people are super friendly! Put Bohol on your list for next trip. I think you will love that one also

Just came from Siquijor..spent two months with lovely and so friendly local people..it's true..they wave at you..get the bike and stop anywhere and they'll chat with you ..old and young ..they all speak a bit of english..some of them quite well..Cant wait to get back again..True paradise :D
What a great video tour of an absolutely BEAUTIFUL island! I've been to the Philippines twice (mostly Cebu and Bohol), but I would LOVE to go back, and Siquijor is definitely on the must-see list. sea asia is really a beautiful place but what sets philippines apart is the PEOPLE... our english is not that perfect but we can communicate and share our stories to other people and for me asides from the scenery meeting new people along the way and knowing their story is one treasure that you will cherish forever...:) food, karaoke,and friendship which means being family is the best thing we filipinos can offer...enjoy your stay tj we love and support you.. mwaaah.. hehehe..., & by the way that tattoo is sexy hahaha..
Great Vlog.. I very much enjoyed it. Philipppines is my number one travel destination. I go about twice to 3 times a year. My next trip is coming up. One thing to note about Siquijor, you can rent a scooter for cheap once you get off the boat from Dumaguete. However, if you rent the scooter, you are pretty much on your own to find tourist spot. That said, people are super friendly and it is very safe on the island. thanks again..

I've toured Dumaguete-Oslob-Apo Island-Siquijor before. Apo and Siquijor are on my top 3 fave islands. The 1st is Siargao. Would love to tour u up north when u come back. Safe travels!🤗

i have to agree... went here with my barkadas(peer) 2 years ago and the people of siquijor are one of the most friendliest people i met. and oh .. the place is very clean. you dont see too many ports with white sand on it.
