    She said that she lives in Dubai now because paparazzi is illegal there. She’s finally being able to live a private life and I think it’s done wonders for her mental health. I feel for Lindsay the same way I felt for Britney, the Olsen Twins and Amanda Bynes and all the women growing up in the public eye in the 2000s. I'm just happy she's happy and in a healthier place. The 2000s actresses went through the most with all the scrutiny of their bodies, I'm happy they're happy with whatever work they have done. She was gorgeous then and she's gorgeous now. I wish more people would stop the "she was pretty before", "she shouldn't have changed herself"... I think it's cruel to have strangers pick apart celebrities natural bodies and then be mad at them when they alter their appearance. Let the girls live.

    I felt so bad for her in the early/mid 2000’s. She had fair skin, freckles, and just a soft body frame. And she was in the midst of the hardcore tanning, major bleaching or black hair, and huge emphasis on women looking super lean and ripped. It was absurd and I’m sure she hurt her skin and it’s ability to age more healthfully by trying to meet those standards. That coupled with substance abuse probably made her look a bit “older”, and people weren’t having any sympathy for her. 😢

      She stopped drinking, therefore the facial, and especially eyelid bloat are significantly reduced. Also, for this cc to say that the "after" photos aren't photoshopped when they are so obviously heavily filtered is absurd and makes me question her credibility. Lastly, that magazine said kim kardashian was 33 at the time, which was 10 years ago, and for this cc to say "oh, well it was a less evolved time back then when people questioned teenage girls about their bodies..." while *currently* using images of a teenage girl to speculate about whether she had breast implants, and then conclude that she did, just proves it definitely wasn't all that long ago. Lindsay also had to deal with a toxic and dysfunctional household. Her parents were fighting, ultimately got divorced in 2007, both abused substances, and his dad (who's likely also a victim of trauma) was going in and out of jail. The girl was trapped inside and out, and the media only pushed her more towards her mental and professional decline.
      She was so talented, not only as an actress and model, but also as a singer. If Lindsay kept pursuing her pop-rock career, being blacklisted from films would have been far less of an issue. Her music was good and she co-wrote on both of her albums, which isn't something many of her peers from the time can say.

To emotionally heal from self inflicted abuse and be reminded of what you've done and who you were everytime you see yourself is a way hard to move forward. Being beautifully renewed and restored has got to be a big energetic positive for her in so many ways. I wish her the best, it hurts my heart to see photos of her during those terrible years. I just loved her movies when she was young before everything fell apart. She was so fresh, innocent, naturally beautiful and talented. It's ironic that to be a good actor one is often a highly sensitive person and really tuned in in a lot of ways, perhaps even highly empathic. Often coming from a dysfunctional family and yet being that way makes you so much more vulnerable to those that would prey on you and try to capitalize on you to the maximum. It's a harsh world we live in.

      She looks amazing now simply because we're comparing to how she looked before. I'm sorry to say it, but let's be honest. If she'd stayed away from alcohol, drugs and all the fillers and botox, she would look even better than this right now. No, we wouldn't have thought this was natural 10, 15 years ago and we STILL don't think it's natural today, either. Let's not delude ourselves. You can clearly see how unnaturally tight her face is. So no, she doesn't look natural and I don't believe it's possible to "get used" to the look of plastic surgery. I'm not against the recent procedures Lindsay has had, though, because she was correcting the damage from procedures in the past. She does look much better now. But let's not confuse the problem for the solution. Once again, she wouldn't need to get all this surgery if not for all of the misguided surgery in the past! And before people come at me, I'm NOT trying to hate on her. I realize she had a really tough time growing up as a child star which is directly linked to the even harder time she had trying to navigate her twenties. As long as she admits her mistakes and owns up to them, and retains her sobriety which she seems to be doing quite well, then the deserves another chance. I wish her the best and I'm glad she will be in prominent movies again. I have missed her.

      @@machuverigjummai4484 I have heard her spiel about the ‘veil of secrecy’. She can give any excuse she likes, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s making money by zooming in on individuals’ faces and bodies to draw the attention of a global audience to their insecurities. It doesn’t need to be born out of spite to have a hurtful effect. She can give any kind of speech about not intending for this to be personal or cause offence, but no matter how she prefaces the video, it’s still very personal and upsetting for the subjects. Think how you would feel if someone were making money by creating a video about your personal appearance and discussing every feature of your face in agonising detail. If she really wants to expose the reality of plastic surgery then she should focus on the work she’s had done and the effects it’s had on her own looks, not create a conversation about individuals who haven’t consented and who have a right to privacy. I have always had a soft spot for Lindsay and Britney. Fame and fortune so young and then having their hardest moments in life plastered across the internet and magazines, but mostly their not-so-great parents! (Lohans not so bad as Spears) Think Lindsay looks good and I hope she does well. Great analysis Lorry.

    I can clearly see the scars in her nostrils in the 2006 photo at 11:04. Not like Lorry to miss something, but it seems fairly obvious that Lindsay had a "debulking." Her surgeon did a great job at just taking a tiny bit off and refining her nose ever so slightly.

    • @sadiemakesmesmile
      @sadiemakesmesmile 2 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      I didn’t see the scars, but when she showed those first 3 photos with really young Lindsay you could tell her nose was originally more bulky and was surprised when Lorry didn’t mention it cause I thought that’s why she is showing those photos.

      Oh wow, good eye! I didn't even think to look for something like that. I think, as much as some people like to believe that Lorry goes overboard with some of her procedure observations, she's actually more likely to be conservative because she knows how skeptical people can be. Especially when it comes to subtle refinement work or procedures when celebs were teens. I definitely think she was really conservative in her Gigi Hadid video from a while ago.

    I saw her in a Planet Fitness commercial recently and was surprised to see she was working again. Ive always believed Lyndsey to be extraordinarily talented and it felt like such a waste that she wasn't acting anymore and when her life derailed so bad when she was young it was truly tragic. I'm so glad she is acting again. She is, after all, a great actress.

      You're wrong, Sherry. LiLo is going to be in 3 Netflix films, with one coming out in Christmas 2022. She's back in acting. She just took a break from it. I mean, you missed the news of her acting return.
      BTW no offense but Cardi B is crap. Again, don't say that LiLo is not acting anymore. She just took a long hiatus and don't call her a waste no more. Besides, past is past. In other words, stop living in the past, Sherry.

    Almost to 400,000 subscribers! Congratulations Lorry! Thank you so much for telling everyone that is in recovery to not expect this kind of results. With recovery I have better skin color and a fuller face. When I was drinking excessively I had dark shallow under eyes and sunken cheeks. I had almost completely stopped eating so I was down to 100 pounds. I’m 5’ 5”. My teeth have yellowed and I’ve had to have a lot of dental work done. I looked horrible. 8 years later I have definitely aged. I’m 46 now. I have fine lines and wrinkles. I am also the healthiest I’ve ever been. I was able to recover from breast cancer. If I was still in active addiction, the cancer would have most likely killed me. With all that being said, no, don’t expect to have the results Lindsay did without paying massive amounts of money. But be ready to feel and look better than you have in a very long time

    Lindsay Lohan looks fantastic now. Now all she needs to do is continue to take care of herself, exercise and eat right and not do any unnecessary tweaking of how she looks right now. She looks great now but all it takes is one or two questionable results from unnecessary procedures to start to make her look unusual.

    Personally when you've been through a lot, for me it really can help your overall self-esteem/quality of life to improve or change something on the outside, even if it's really small. I was really terribly sick throughout my 20s and it took 7 years before someone finally believed me that it wasn't just depression. It was Lupus and RA. A diagnosis is only a temporary relief with chronic illness, because the treatments can be just as hard on your body as the disease itself. By the time I started treatment (which takes months to start working) I felt inhuman and unrecognizable compared to who I was at the onset of my illness and my body went through a lot, including severe hormonal acne that resulted from premature ovarian failure. I saved for a couple of years so I could get a laser treatment to help my acne scars and it really helped me feel more human again.

      @@sylvain123 The hair loss is so traumatic! I'm glad it's growing back. The meds and the disease together really makes it feel like everything is being taken away from you. The results for my laser treatment haven't fully conceded yet, but even the small difference I've noticed from just 3 rounds of it (I'm slated to get 6 altogether) so far have made so much of a difference. I highly recommend it. You deserve to feel better. Sure, it's all cosmetic, but it's so much more than that. Anything that takes that extra weight off helps with quality of life and it's so important to get what you can with chronic illness. Especially when sometimes it feels like we're on borrowed time. I hope your treatments go well, and you have as few flares possible :)
