One of the best synths ive ever had the pleasure of using, even if both of them didnt work properly ( in fact , one of them combusted internally!). The thickness and power of the sound makes you feel so heroic
Love the look of the video and the SOUND! I think I may have to bite the bullet sometime soon... ;-) It does have a crazy loud fan, but I've read that it can be replaced by one much quieter. Thanks again for the video.
Damn You!! My object of desire and borderline obsession has Been a Prophet 5 as of late! I think the MM has just taken over the lead because of this Video! :p. This is excellent! Thank You!!!
@anoteoftruth I think they finally, finally made a polyphonic Minimoog, the Minimoog Voyager XL. They should remake the Polymoog, or the Moog Modulars.
@RGAF1987 well you can play really long solos over many octaves :) I guess it's 5 octave because it would look weird if there are 10 modulation wheels on the left to fill the new space :)
cost of retooling it into a modern day package. moog's arent mass produced and putting 6 voicecards into an enclosure now, even if it is based on the little phatty voices, would cost well over £5000 with ease. The original memorymoog had curtis vcos, but what made it sound so amazing was the moog filter and vca circuits, which naturally tend to overdrive.
I have a MM+ that I purchased brand new back in the early '80's..... I have had the OCC chips replace twice.... I get a "0 tuned" now..... Is the LAMM my solution....? and how do I find it.....?

That, or a good servicing... You should contact lintronics . de if you want the LAMM upgrade.
what happened to keyboard instruments these days... All iPad screened cheesy piece of sh... Why is the sonic and tactile pleasure of an instrument not pleasant in the instruments currently being produced?
You’re playing has stood the test of time. Wish you’d jump back into it and make more! Buchla was a nice teaser 🖤
Thanks! I’m working on more music. I have more experiments on Instagram. instagram.com/Logan mannstrane
Great sounds! I, too, have a Lintronics Advanced Memorymoog and it's totally awesome!
@FunkOthon It's actually from an artist named Ruxpin. The song is called "First Contact" off the Avalon album.

Beautiful playing Scott. Thanks.

@RGAF1987 The Voyager XL is monophonic ;)

All you need is an OBX for the trifecta!
Yo Heathcliff!! Wow, funny running g into a post you made 8 years ago lol cheers!!

Great sounds man !!
I prefer the MM over the JP-8. I've owned both. My MM+ was a rats nest though. Shoulda LAMM'd it instead of selling back in the day. :)
It’s a Moog thing. The internals are sloppy! Moog Voyager is the same way.
LAMM it's 20000$ will be?

drool
@Barelinio That's whack. Then what's the point of having a five octave keyboard if you can play all the keys all the keys at once?
Do you still own the Lamm?
i may be buying a LAMM in a couple of months !!
